We had an absolutely amazing safari experience! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and we couldn’t have wished for a better adventure.
The highlight was definitely seeing the Big Five in their natural habitat. It was an unforgettable experience to get so close to these incredible animals and witness the beauty of the African landscape.
A special thank you to Logan, who made our safari even more enjoyable. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Logan knew exactly where to go and was very patient, giving us plenty of time to enjoy and photograph the animals. His passion for wildlife really made a difference and added so much to the experience.
We saw so much more than we expected, and every moment felt special. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a memory we will cherish forever.

Amazing safari experience with Toilo tours
Tolio Tours was amazing! From the moment I contacted them for a quote, Julius was incredibly responsible, accommodating, and helpful. There were three of us arriving on different flights and at different times, and he adjusted the schedule to make everything work perfectly.
From the airport pickup to all of our activities, everything was extremely well coordinated. The food was also amazing—delicious, homemade, and plentiful. It honestly made me feel right at home.
Golden, our guide, was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience and saw as many animals as possible.
Julius constantly checked on us and even brought us Tanzanian phone chargers and a Wi-Fi device so we could stay connected.

The Perfect Safari Experience
We had an amazing experience with Meru Slopes and I would definitely recommend them!
From the very beginning, Gift was helping us through WhatsApp and was always very kind and patient, answering all of our questions and helping us organize everything before the trip. It made us feel very safe and well taken care of.
Our guide, Joel, was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable, attentive and, most importantly, really wanted us to have the best experience possible. He was always looking for animals and explaining everything to us. We saw so many incredible things during the safari, and I honestly think having a good guide makes a huge difference — and Joel was definitely a great one!
Our cook, Buga, also deserves a special mention. The food was much better than we expected for a camping safari! Every meal was delicious and he always prepared everything with so much care.
Another thing we really appreciated was that our time in Arusha before and after the safari was included in the package. They picked us up at the airport, took us back after the trip, and everything was very well organized. We also had a guide take us around Arusha and show us a little bit of the city, which was a really nice extra.
Overall, we felt very well taken care of from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The whole experience was much more than just the safari itself. It was organized, safe, fun and full of amazing memories.

The most amazing experience in my life!
This experience was totally worth the price! I wasn’t expecting such a high level of service: all the hotels were lovely and comfortable, the food was delicious, and everything was smoothly organized!
Suricata Safaris provides transfers to and from the airport, a comfortable Land Rover with chargers and plenty of cold water inside, as well as accommodation before, during, and after the safari if you need it.
And I’m especially thankful to our driver, Lewis, who knows everything about wild animals and nature, knows how to find them, and tells you interesting stories about them in perfect English. He is also a very good driver and a really nice person!
We went on a 4-day mid-range safari and visited Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.

Lewis turned an amazing safari into one of the most unforgettable trips of our lives.
We did a 4-day, 3-night safari with Suricata Safaris, visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and the experience honestly exceeded our expectations.
The biggest reason was our guide, Lewis. He was absolutely fantastic.
Lewis has an incredible knowledge of wildlife and nature, but what impressed us even more was his ability to actually find the animals and understand what they were going to do next. We saw the entire Big Five and almost all of the Ugly Five, as well as lion cubs, lions hunting, cheetahs running and an incredible amount of wildlife throughout the trip.
One moment perfectly explains why Lewis is such a great guide.
At one point, many safari vehicles rushed toward a group of lions and crowded around them. Lewis did the opposite — he drove away. At first we were a little disappointed and wondered why we were leaving the action.
He simply told us to wait.
He looked around carefully with his binoculars, moved the car to a completely different position and asked us to give it a few minutes. Lewis had noticed elephants moving toward a waterhole and understood that their route would affect the lions and make them move.
And that is exactly what happened.
A few minutes later, the lions walked straight toward us and eventually lay down right in front of our vehicle. While most of the other cars were still somewhere behind, we were almost alone with the lions.
That moment says everything about Lewis. He does not simply follow other safari cars — he understands animal behaviour and thinks ahead.
Apart from being extremely knowledgeable, Lewis was also incredibly polite, punctual, calm and tactful. His English is excellent, he is very easy to communicate with, and he knows when to explain something, when to joke and when to simply let you enjoy the moment.
We spent full days together in the vehicle and never once felt uncomfortable or tired of being around him.
Another thing we really appreciated was how flexible the safari felt. Lewis constantly paid attention to our reactions. When we were fascinated by an animal, we could stay as long as we wanted. When he noticed that we had seen enough, we moved on and started searching for the next thing. It never felt rushed or like we were simply following a fixed schedule.
The vehicle was a large Toyota Land Cruiser, perfect for safari. Visibility was excellent, there were charging points, plenty of water, and even wildlife reference books inside about birds, plants, acacias and other things we were seeing along the way.
Accommodation was also very good. We stayed in proper comfortable places, breakfasts and dinners were usually buffet-style, and even the lunches during game drives were much better than we expected. Since you are often eating literally in the middle of nowhere, lunches were picnic-style, but we still had proper hot food such as rice and chicken rather than just sandwiches and snacks.
Before the trip, safari initially seemed quite expensive to me. After experiencing it, my opinion completely changed.
It was absolutely worth the money.
You are not just paying to drive around and look at animals. You are getting access to one of the few places on Earth where an enormous wild ecosystem still exists in front of you almost exactly as nature intended.
For me, this was also something bigger than just a holiday. I genuinely did not expect our planet to still have places this wild, beautiful and alive.
Seeing Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire in person, watching lions, elephants, cheetahs and countless other animals living freely in their natural environment was something I will remember for the rest of my life.
Would I recommend Suricata Safaris to friends? Absolutely.
Would I go again? 100%.
And if I returned, I would specifically ask for Lewis to be our guide again.

Amazing experience - highly recommended!
We had a truly lovely experience from the very first moment we got in touch with the tour operators. From the warm welcome and greeting to the professionalism of our driver and tour guide, Steve, everything was excellent.
Steve made our experience unforgettable. He was incredibly kind, polite, and knowledgeable. He shared so much interesting information about Kenya, its people, culture, and everyday life. He also made a great effort to ensure that we saw as many animals as possible, which made the safari even more special.
All in all, we were extremely satisfied with the entire experience and would highly recommend this tour. Thank you to the whole team, and especially to Steve, for making our trip so memorable!

An Unforgettable and Wonderful Safari
We just returned from our 7-day safari in Tanzania (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Central and Northern Serengeti), and had an unforgettable experience. we highly recommend our agent—KLA Adventures and our guide Ziggy. From the very first email to the final farewell, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.
The pre-trip communication was smooth and prompt. Every question was answered timely, and they satisfied almost all our requests and preferences.

And because we stayed longer, we witnessed so much more. Yet he always checked with us asking if we were ready to move on or wanted more time. That balance of patience and respect for our wishes made every game drive feel personal and unhurried.

Interesting and fun experience
Booking the Safari with “Somewhere in Africa” was very easy and fast.
The person in charge of the bookings made sure we had plenty of offers to choose from, each their unique value.
Once booked they informed us with plenty details so we did not have to worry about any logistics.
The flights were booked with a good flight operator (the one’s in Tanzania aren’t all very good, nor reliable), like this we did not have to worry about flight delays or any cancellations.
The Safari itself was completely private and very comfortable.
Our driver “Charles” had some interesting stories about the culture and the animals.
He did his very best to find all the animals we were looking for and gave us the absolute best value for our money.
We are very happy with the overall communication, logistics and experience “Somewhere in Africa” provided for us.
