Excellent guide, beautiful places and litlle bit a miscommunication
We booked our safari through Super Eagles, and overall, the price was reasonable for a budget safari. Our experience had some wonderful highlights but also several disappointing aspects that travellers should be aware of.
Kenya Leg
Masai Mara:The game drive in Masai Mara was incredible -we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five and much more. We also enjoyed the visit to a Masai village. The stay was decent- it had beautiful view of sunset and saw zebra in our compound; however, the shower had very low pressure and the bathroom didn’t have any door. The 4-course meals were tasty and well-prepared.
Lake Nakuru:The safari here was beautiful, and the accommodation was fine. Food was very good. Our bathroom had an unpleasant smell, but others’ were fine. Also, this weird bathroom smell was a common problem in everywhere we stayed.
Amboseli:The lodge was absolutely stunning, offering unobstructed views of Mount Kilimanjaro, sunrise and sunset. The food was good, but the bathroom had a persistent foul odour that wasn’t resolved even after cleaning, which made the stay uncomfortable.
Transport & Car Sharing:For the first three days, we were six people in the vehicle, which was manageable. But later, Super Eagles placed eight people in the same Land Cruiser, along with all our bags and suitcases crammed in every corner. This made the rides extremely congested and took away from the safari experience. The saving grace was our driver/guide in Kenya, Timothee, who was wonderful, kind, and very knowledgeable.
Tanzania Leg
This part of the trip was handled by a different company, Seven Wonders, something Super Eagles never informed us about.
Our driver/guide, Mark, was knowledgeable with excellent spotting skills, but his car was in terrible condition -it broke down once, the seats were wet on the first day, and overall it was unsuitable for long drives.
Serengeti:The game drives were breathtaking, thanks to Mark’s expertise. Accommodation was inside the park and nice. Food was very good.
Accommodation Issues:At Ngorongoro, there was confusion with our booking. We were told by Super Eagles (via Bildad) that our stay was arranged at Octagon Hotel, but upon arrival we were told no booking existed. After nearly an hour of back-and-forth, the booking was finally confirmed. While the stay at Octagon was lovely, the miscommunication was frustrating.
Similarly, in Arusha, we were first taken to Charity Hotel but then redirected to Parachichi Hotel at the last moment. While Parachichi was nearby, the unnecessary waiting after a long safari drive was irritating.
Ngorongoro crater: The view was breathtaking- everything was beautiful about this place. But we felt that the guide assigned to us was not so great.
Final Thoughts
Pros: Beautiful safari destinations, breathtaking landscapes, good food, some comfortable stays, and excellent guides (Timothee in Kenya, Mark in Tanzania).
Cons: Poor communication, inconsistent accommodation arrangements, overcrowded vehicles, and in Tanzania, extremely poor vehicle quality.

Amazing adventure
From as far back as I can remember, my world was shaped by National Geographic, Animal Planet, and Discovery. Africa wasn’t just a destination for me — it was a lifelong dream, the very top of my bucket list. What I never imagined was that this dream would be fulfilled as a family, with my wife, my in-laws, and our 10-month-old baby — and that it would be executed so flawlessly by Hekima Safaris.
I came into this journey with nothing but a dream and a lot of uncertainty. Traveling with a 10-month-old is no small task, and I had countless concerns. From the very first WhatsApp message, Eli (Mopoo) and John treated every question with patience, warmth, and genuine care. Even late at night, responses were prompt and reassuring. Step by step, they built a highly customized itinerary, always putting my child’s comfort and safety first. That level of attention instantly built trust.
What truly amazed me was how Hekima Safaris managed to craft such a detailed, seamless, and premium experience just one week before our travel date. After comparing multiple operators, it became clear that Hekima offered the best value for money — not because it was cheaper, but because it was truly all-inclusive, private, exclusive, and safe. Every lodge we stayed at — Curio Hilton, Sand River by Elewana, Serena Sweetwaters, and Fairmont Kenya Safari Club — exceeded expectations.
We have traveled extensively across the world, both self-driven and guided, and I can confidently say this: Kenya must be experienced through a tour operator, and this was without question the best guided experience we’ve ever had.
Eli (Mopoo) was with us from day one until the very last moment. His safari vehicle was perfectly prepared, including a car seat for our baby. Beyond that, he was everything you could hope for in a guide — professional, articulate, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly perceptive. But what set him apart was his kindness and emotional intelligence. He was attentive to every situation, every need, every unspoken concern. By the end of our nine-day journey, he felt less like a guide and more like family.
We traveled during the off-season in late November, and it turned out to be a blessing. The parks felt exclusive and intimate. With pure experience, instinct, and dedication — no GPS, no tracking — Suleiman ensured we saw not just the Big Five, but what I would proudly call the Big Nine. Watching my lifelong dream unfold in such a natural, authentic way felt nothing short of magical.
We are profoundly grateful to Hekima Safaris for assigning Suleiman to us, and to John for overseeing every single detail of the journey — from our very first conversation to flawless coordination with all hotels and lodges. Traveling with elders and a baby can be stressful, but Hekima made it effortless.
During this trip, we celebrated my wife’s birthday and my son’s 10-month-versary — moments that will forever remain etched in our hearts. We couldn’t have chosen a better destination, and more importantly, we couldn’t have chosen a better team to trust with our family.
Hekima Safaris didn’t just give us a safari — they gave us memories, peace of mind, and an experience that exceeded every expectation.
Wishing John, Suleiman, Mopoo, and the entire Hekima Safaris family continued success and growth.
May God bless you abundantly.

We couldn't have asked for anything better!
The Fondness team was excellent from the first minute! The entire booking and organization process was seamless, with direct and continuous contact.
Before leaving, Martin and Irene stopped by our hotel for a detailed briefing on the coming days, answering all our questions.
The safari, conducted in collaboration with another tour operator (Suricata), was spectacular! Our guide Lewis and our chef Pius (I hope that's how it's spelled) were both excellent. We spent three days between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, staying in tents, a decision I highly recommend for even more contact with nature and waking up among the animals. During the game drives, we were able to see all the main animals, including the Big Five, at close range. In addition to the local wildlife, we were also enchanted by Tanzania's landscapes, from the endless plains and vast skies of the Serengeti to the incredible variety and uniqueness of the Ngorongoro Crater.
A special thank you to the entire team for helping me make this trip even more special, helping me plan the proposal to my future wife. (She said yes!)

Incredible and very recommended experience
If I had to sum up my experience in one word, this would be incredible. Jocky Tours is a serious and reliable company (they even helped us with the train tickets) , and what can I say about Dennis (our guide and driver)? He was kind, patient, respectful, and always looking out for us. I definitely recommend this company, and if you're lucky to have a guide like him, your experience for sure will be fantastic!

5 Days Safari in Tanzania
Our 5-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro was nothing short of spectacular. Every single day exceeded our expectations, from the breathtaking landscapes to the incredible wildlife encounters.
Tarangire National Park welcomed us with massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, setting the tone for what was to come. The Serengeti was absolutely magical—endless plains, dramatic sunsets, and more wildlife than we ever imagined. We were lucky enough to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and countless wildebeest. Ending the trip in the Ngorongoro Crater was the perfect finale, with its stunning views and dense concentration of animals all in one place.
What truly made this safari exceptional was our guide, Ezekiel Senkoro.
Ezekiel is an outstanding professional—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about wildlife. His ability to spot animals from incredible distances was amazing, and he always took the time to explain animal behavior, local culture, and the ecosystem. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the entire journey. His warm personality, great sense of humor, and attention to detail made the experience even more special.
The organization of the trip was seamless, the accommodations were excellent, and the daily game drives were perfectly planned to maximize wildlife sightings.

Excellent Safari Experience from Start to Finish
We had a Safari of 10. The company was attentive from the beginning to the end, we even had a last minute problem and they knew how to help us solve it. The guide was splendid and the safari car was one of the newest in the park. The hotel was very clean and the service was good. Quality - price very good. 100% recommendable.
