This has been an unforgettable trip! Over six wonderful days with our driver-guide TUMSIFU, we witnessed the great wildebeest river crossing, watched a pride of lions enjoying their breakfast at close range, and were deeply touched by the tender moment between a mother cheetah and her four cubs. We also encountered our beloved flamingos… And to top it all off, we successfully spotted the Big Five!
We would especially like to thank our guide TUMSIFU. He went out of his way to locate the animals we hoped to see and patiently waited while we observed and took photos. He stayed calm when our vehicle broke down, and even bought medication for us when we suddenly came down with acute gastroenteritis. We chatted freely about wildlife and family, and truly built a wonderful friendship.
Thank you Whistling Travel for this thoughtfully arranged itinerary. Staying at the tented camp was also a one‑of‑a‑kind experience. All in all — absolutely perfect!

Dawood was an excellent tour guide. He was punctual, picking us up on time, and his calm, friendly manner made the day very relaxing. He’s extremely knowledgeable about Nairobi National Park, pointing out animals and sharing insights we would have missed on our own. We saw a wide variety of wildlife and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. After the park, he took us to the Giraffe Centre and then dropped us off safely. This trip was worth every penny, and we would definitely recommend David to anyone visiting Nairobi.

There are incredible safari guides, and then there is Kennedy. I cannot imagine experiencing Tanzania with anyone else, and I truly believe our journey would not have been the same without him. Over the course of six unforgettable days, Kennedy became so much more than our guide — he became family. We found RA Safaris to be attentive, caring, diligent and professional.
Our friends who were knowledgeable about Tanzania provided a couple of safari companies for my wife and I to choose from and we were quite pleased with RA Safaris. The owner Zeph takes a strong interest in his business and made sure all was in order prior to, during and upon tour completion. This was a private tour 1 day Tarangire, two days Central Serengeti, 2 days northern Serengeti, 1 day Ngorongoro and one at Manyara. Accommodations at the camps and lodges were great. Pickup at the airport 5AM was terrific and transport to the airport well done.
Many animals seen including and beyond the big 5. It is amazing how the animals pay little to no mind of the Safari vehicles - especially the lions. In fact the lions prefer to use the shade of the Safari vehicles.
A herd of elephants chose to move from their chomping of grass and passed in front of our vehicle. The matriarch stopped about 10 feet in front of our vehicle, turned and faced us with a slight foot stomp. After studying us and determined all was good, she turned and moved with the herd.
Giraffes, zebras, antelope, gazelles, wildebeests and others were quite plentiful and beautiful to behold in nature.
We were exceptionally fortunate to witness three migration wildebeest crossings in a single day. A crocodile did take down a rather large wildebeest. That was fascinating to see but of course with mixed feelings.
If you select RA Safaris you will have choices for your first night stay before the safari. We strongly recommend Moivaro Lodge. Great food in a rustic setting. Wonderful place.
All in all, we give RA Safaris a 5 star rating. Wonderful caring owner and Staff.

We had a fantastic tour and were well looked after by our driver
We had the 6 day Safari Tour with Tarangire Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Catherine from Telly was great when I started the booking process and helped so much to organise this special Safari. We want to stay 1 night in the northern Serengeti to see the river crossing and we did. It was fantastic to see that an it was much quieter up in the north because it was end of the big migration so we were very lucky to still see a crossing and have much less people there. Our driver was also great we always felt safe. Overall we had a fantastic time and if we come again to Tansania we would book again with Telly.
