It was simply amazing — the whole trip and the staff!
From the organization to the excursions, everything was perfect, and even when we encountered a small issue, it was solved professionally in just a few minutes exactly as we had hoped.
We had asked for several quotes, both from Italy and local operators, and although the itineraries seemed similar and prices were comparable, DK Tours and Safaris clearly stood out.
Their excursions were of a higher level — for example, we had private tours and even two helicopter rides included, which no other agency offered at the same price point. Most of the other operators proposed tented accommodations, while DK always provided charming 3- to 4-star lodges.
DK Tours and Safaris is the main agency, but for each stop and activity they collaborate with a network of local professional guides, making every single experience a true full immersion into the culture, nature, and atmosphere of the place — authentic, engaging, and incredibly enriching.
A special thanks goes to Enock, who accompanied us from Victoria Falls to the Okavango Delta — treating us like his own children. He is a passionate guide, truly in love with nature and wildlife, and his enthusiasm made every experience more meaningful. Thanks also to Owen, who coordinated all the logistics and supported us with every detail, always present remotely to ensure everything went smoothly. And a big thank you to Webster, the owner, who welcomed us personally at the airport and made sure all our requests were fulfilled.
The only constructive comment I would like to give: it would be great to have clearer information about the exact times of activities or transfers to better manage the day and avoid unnecessary downtime (for example, early departures with activities scheduled only in the late afternoon).

This was an excellent and coordinated experience.
We did the 3 day safari and stayed at the campground. It was an excellent experience. We saw many things, accommodation was very reasonable for the price and overall I had a great time. The key to this was Roger, our guide, who was skilled and experienced, as well as friendly.

Our safari with Roger was truly the experience of a lifetime. From the moment we met him, his warmth, passion, and deep knowledge of the Masai Mara were clear. Thanks to Roger’s incredible tracking skills, we witnessed unforgettable moments — lions on a live hunt, cheetahs surveying the plains, a leopard hidden in the trees, elephants up close, and giraffes moving gracefully across the savannah.
What made Roger exceptional wasn’t just the wildlife he helped us find, but the way he brought the entire ecosystem to life through his stories and insights. Every sighting became more meaningful because of the way he explained the animals’ behaviors, their histories, and the delicate balance of the land.

A delightful experience from start to finish, wonderful safari!
Best safari I have been on- highly recommend! Incredible value for money and great customer service! I was picked up and dropped off at the hotel and airport which was incredibly convenient. We then drove to the Mara with a stop at the rift valley for photos. We arrived in late afternoon, had lunch then had an evening game drive. Despite only being 3 hours I’ve never seen so many animals in such a short space of time giraffe, lions, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, and the most incredible sunset- it was breathtaking! Second day we had a full day game drive and a picnic in the Mara which was fantastic! We saw cheetah hunting and one close up, a pride of lions eating their kill. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and gave us so many interesting facts. Third day there is an optional tour to the Masai village which I was unsure about at first as someone who has lived in Kenya for a year, but it wasn’t gimmicky at all, the Masai were all so happy to welcome us and were genuinely having fun, it was so educational and amazing to learn about their culture! Overall it was an incredible experience and I’d highly recommend. 3 days was the perfect amount of time and for those thinking it’s too short, it isn’t.

Very attentive organizer, very good itinerary.
Before arriving in Ethiopia I spoke with five companies, disappointed by the attitude and price offered. In the last few days I spoke with this organizer and he was very professional, fair price and complex route. Every day we had combined activities. I was with an 8-year-old boy and this was taken into account. The guide in Lalibela was the best I could have had. He is a priest who told us a lot of information about those places. We will definitely call on the same man when we return.
