A small park that is well worth the visit.
Overall rating
4/5

Lake Nakuru National Park is well worth the visit. While the flocks of flamingos are apparently not what they once were, there were plenty around and seeing that many birds was mesmerizing. We also saw big herds of Rothschild's giraffes (a very beautiful subspecies) as well as an abundance of zebras, buffalo, waterbucks, and gazelles. A few lions, jackals, and hyenas also made appearances. We only saw two hippos. According to our guides that was lucky so this site may be a bit mistaken to say hippos are common in the area. While I am not a hardcore birder, there is plenty for birders to enjoy. We saw guinea fowl, African fish eagles, marbou storks, Egyptian geese, a hooded vulture, lilac-breasted rollers, and plenty of others. If you go stay at the Lake Nakuru Lodge. Baboons roam the grounds, there is a waterhole near the restaurant that attracted warthogs and zebras, and there is a great view of the lake. Bring your binoculars!

Evrything was well arranged
4/5

The tour was maybe short, but it was a amazing experience. The service from Uwanda was great, you can ask your question on whatsapp, so that was easy.

Super safari holiday, Mara triangle pays attention to detail
4/5

Mara Triangles organised an excellent trip for us. Lucy was exceptionally responsive to our requests and always polite courteous, honest and informative. Lucy did her best to make everything as easy as possible for us. The lodges we stayed in were very comfortable and special shout out to our drivers - Bony and Kingo who were knowledgeable, friendly and lots of fun! They were accommodating to our needs. WE had a brilliant time and saw many many animals.

About: Kenya
Lovely people, tasty food, great safari experience.
Overall rating
4/5

We, two adults (49y, 43y) and two children (12y, 9y), had a great time in Mombasa (Bamburi beach) and a 4 day safari (Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli and Mzima Springs). In total we stayed 13 nights.
The beach is beautiful, however the beach boys are annoying, you really do not feel comfortable to try a walk at the beach.
The hotel had great swimming pool and entertainment during the whole day, with all-inclusive you really have excellent food, drinks and service.
The 4 day safari was for sure a highlight: it is a long drive during the first and last day, but it is worth. Safari means that you need to wake up earlier every day as during the morning is the best time to see the animals. Late in the afternoon as well. Amboseli has lot of people doing safari, but you see a lot of animals and birds. Mzima springs is unique, it is a place to visit if you want to see a lot of hippos. Tsavo West and Tsavo East are very different, the first you might not see as many animals as in Tsavo East, however only in Tsavo West you might see the Rhino.
At the end we saw all Big 5.
Tips: do not buy souvenir at the Curios during the safari, it is way too expensive. All items are not priced, thus it is a matter of price negotiation. If you still want to buy something, ask for the price and offer maximum 1/3 of the asked price.
Please make sure to have the local currency with you (Kenia Schilling), the locals prefers the Schilling when you give small amount of money to them. Coins (Euro, Dollar, etc) are really not welcome.

Decent game drive experience
4/5

The trip was good. I was picked up on time from my hotel - real early 5:30am or so. The van made couple of other spots on the way to pick up customers. We reached the reserve around 9 and were transferred to a nice open jeep for morning drive. We saw a few elephants, giraffe and lots of gazelles. We came back for lunch (which was covered). The lunch location has viewpoint where we saw more antelopes and a rhino. After lunch we went for evening drive and saw a few more elephants and giraffes. But no big cats. We arrived back after 6pm. Being close to airport - we were the last drop off point.

Overall a decent experience. But we did Masai Mara afterwards - so this wasn't the highlight of our trip.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Jan Robertson
Overall rating
4/5

We saw lots of wildlife there, but nothing more than we saw in Tarangire and Serengeti. And the drive up to the rim of the crater we through thick fog and pretty scary. Once we got down into the crater the viewing was good.

very good experience, friendly, informal, reliable
4/5

Pros
- good communication, all e-mails were answered in a few hours
- flexibility, they organized an unscheduled day in Nairobi for us including visit of former US Embassy destroyed by terrorist blast in 1998, one of the highlights of our trip besides national parks
- we probably got to see as much as we could in such a short time thanks to the great itinerary
- reasonable price for this category of safari trip
- excelent driver and guide David, always in a good mood, helpful, never tired of answering our questions or satisfying our endless need for the best picture spot, wonderful character we will never forget

Cons
- even though they say on the website that they do accept credit cards they do not, after we refused requested cash payment, we finaly agreed on Wise money transfer, cashless procedure which worked out fine but wouldn´t have to be so complicated, only dissapointment in otherwise perfect service and only reason for not giving five stars

BCL organised a memorable life time experience for 6 days in Masai Mara, lake Nakur, Diani beach
4/5

The organisation and the exclusion of our 6-day epic experience were brilliant from the office and the skilled driver and guide. Their communication through email and WhatsApp allowed us to easily modify and upgrade our accommodation and flights. I would highly recommended this company for unforgettable experience in Masai Mara, Kenyan lakes and the Indian Ocean beach.
