Amazing experience
5/5

Trail Tracers was easy to work with in all aspects of the booking process. The safari itself was an amazing experience that we will always remember. Masha was a fantastic guide and everyone we encountered on staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. We saw so much in just a short time. A lifetime of memories packed into just a few days!

wonderful trip!!!
5/5

Our safari experience with Gosheni exceeded all expectations, and much of that is thanks to our amazing guide, Ombeni. His sharp eyes and deep knowledge of animal behavior meant we were always in the right place at the right time — from elusive leopards to massive herds of elephants, he found them all with ease.

But beyond his tracking skills, what truly impressed us was how genuinely he cared for us throughout the journey. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, ensuring we were always comfortable, informed, and enjoying every moment. Ombeni’s kindness, patience, and passion made us feel not just like clients, but like valued guests and friends.

Gosheni is lucky to have such a dedicated guide, and we feel even luckier to have had him lead our adventure. Highly recommended!

Gave us the best experience of our lives!
5/5

After contacting many British travel agents and not finding any which would fulfill our needs we came across Spirit of Kenya.
The UK operators were much more rigid, more expensive and less informative than dealing direct with spirit of Kenya.
Victor created us the perfect itinerary which ticked all our boxes and in fact gave us a longer holiday than we initially wanted. Over the next few months Victor answered all of my questions, put my mind at ease many times and was always prompt at replying to me. He even emailed me about 6 weeks before asking if my planning was going well and if I had anymore questions. I don’t know any other company who would do this.
It was nerve wracking using a company who was based in Africa however there was absolutely no need for any worry as everything was a completely smooth process. Thank you so much Victor!

We were met at Mara air strip by James who would be our driver and guide for the week.
Nothing was ever too much trouble. He was always one step ahead and during the week he ensured we saw everything we could ever dream of. He is a fountain of knowledge, made sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, professional and kept us safe. Every day we got in the jeep he had cleaned it and took huge pride in this.
He is an absolute asset to the company and gave us the most incredible adventure. James you are a superstar, thank you!

We visited Masi Mara, Lake Nakuru, Hellsgate, Lake Navisha and Amboseli. Each place offering us a different experience to the last. Different accommodations from Lodges to tents but we loved the variety and wouldn’t change anything.

If you are someone who loves the control when you are on holiday, honestly just let Spirit of Kenya take the stress from you. They will make sure you are very well looked after.
We are leaving with tears of Joy in our eyes,
memories to last a lifetime and a permanent imprint on our hearts. Thank you Spirit of Kenya. I am sure we will be back!

I strongly recommend anyone to
book with Spirit of Kenya, they are a safe, kind hearted company with so much knowledge and experience.

Excellent
5/5

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Gosheni, and we cannot praise our guide Ombeni enough! His incredible knowledge of the wildlife and unmatched ability to spot animals—even from far distances—made every game drive exciting and rewarding. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five and so much more.

What truly set this experience apart was the level of care and attention Ombeni showed throughout the trip. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and well taken care of at all times. His warm personality, professionalism, and passion for nature made this journey not only smooth but deeply memorable.

We wholeheartedly recommend Gosheni and Ombeni to anyone looking for a top-notch safari experience!

Amboseli national park 1day with the best guide
5/5

We did 1 day in the Amboseli national Park with a private tour, it was an amazing expérience. The guide was our number 1 of the 4 guides we met during our trip in Africa, good explanations, nice guy and the fact how we can see how much he love the nature is a real plus.
The pick up was in Nairobi and he left us at kemana at the end of the day so it was also convenient for have more hours of Safari
Thank you David for the game drive !

Surreal Tour
5/5

Our guide John from Kenya has good knowledge of the people, culture and human behaviour.
He explained well in English and can crack some jokes about the daily life of Kenyans.
He is accomodating on our request to sight different animals and good direction of where the animals stay.
Thank you John and the team in Supereagles of arranging such an awesome tour.
Also to Tony our tour guide/driver from Arusha for fulfilling our wish to sight the leopard in Serengenti Park.

Affordable, trustworthy and organised, an unforgettable safari with JungleRoam and Julius!
5/5

I want to start with thanking our guide, Julius (or his nickname, Juli) and the person behind JungleRoam, Chesi.

Skeptical at first, but our worries were diminished with Chesi's timely replies and other glowing reviews from fellow travellers.

Our recent 7-day safari with JungleRoam was nothing short of extraordinary, and we owe so much of that to our incredible guide, Julius. From the moment we were picked up to our final goodbye, everything was handled with such professionalism, warmth, and expertise that we truly felt we were in the best hands.

We had 6 persons, formed our own private tour and explored Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Hell’s Gate, and Amboseli National Park – each destination offering a unique experience that built on the last. The LandCruiser provided was in great condition, could handle rough terrain, clean and very comfortable for our group of 6 with a medium sized luggage each - coupled with Juli's great driving skills of course.

JungleRoam clearly knows how to plan the perfect itinerary, balancing breathtaking wildlife encounters with moments of cultural insight and scenic beauty. We stayed in a mix of budget camps and mid-range lodges, given that JungleRoam was so kind as to accommodate to our custom requests.

Masai Mara blew us away with its abundance of wildlife. Thanks to Juli’s sharp eye and deep knowledge of animal behavior, we were always the first to spot animals before the crowd comes. This resulted in many intimate moments with the animals and some great photos. His ability to track animals and position us for the best views (without disturbing the wildlife) was beyond impressive.

In Lake Nakuru, Julius timed everything perfectly and we saw elusive black rhinos thanks to his good eyes.

Naivasha and Hell’s Gate offered a different kind of thrill. Hiking in the gorges in Hell’s Gate felt surreal. While we were hiking, Juli spotted oil dripping from the vehicle and immediately sent it to repair - his friends picked us up from the trail. This is no fault of Juli/JungleRoam as the terrain is extremely rough where vehicle breakdowns are a norm, and we are lucky to have Juli spot the problem before it became something much bigger - imagine your car breaking down in the middle of nowhere, that'd be much worse! Juli also inspects and cleans the vehicle after the day ends and we felt safe and secure under his wings.

And then came Amboseli. The sight of elephants roaming beneath the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro is something we’ll never forget. Juli knows all the huge tuskers by name and could easily identify them by just looking at their tusks. We were incredibly lucky to see all 3 of the largest elephants in the park! Julius seemed to know every inch of the park and made sure we got those iconic, once-in-a-lifetime photos.

Beyond his guiding skills, Julius is a wonderful person—kind, funny, patient, and endlessly knowledgeable. He made us feel like more than tourists; he made us feel like friends and even family. Every question we had (and we had a lot!) was met with enthusiasm and insight.

The accommodations, the vehicle comfort, the seamless transitions between parks, and the care with which everything was handled all reflect the high standards of JungleRoam. It’s rare to find a tour company that delivers on every promise—and then goes above and beyond.

If you’re considering a safari in Kenya, look no further than JungleRoam, and if you’re lucky enough to get Julius as your guide, prepare yourself for the adventure of a lifetime. Juli made us fall in love with our first safari and I will not hesitate to go back if the opportunity comes again!

Thank you, JungleRoam and Julius, for making our dream safari come true!

Nailed the brief
5/5

We had been thinking about a Southern Africa safari trip for a few years and had some valuable input from Zimbabwean friends who had been on tour many times. So we had a general idea of when and where, but needed guidance on the finer details and options, as well as someone to put it all together once we’d agreed on an itinerary (South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana). This was possibly going to be our one and only trip of this type so we wanted to get it right!
I saw an ad for a tour similar to what I had in mind so contacted Discover Africa (DA). Devryn was able to clearly outline his preferences that would meet the brief. He suggested the order of travel, how long at each place, what type of accommodation (generally getting better as we progressed), how to get from A to B etc, via several email conversations.
We had a Zoom meeting with him before finalising the plan, where we were able to ask further questions which he was able to answer confidently and competently given he had been to these places himself.
We felt confident enough with his recommendations to lock it in, 12 months ahead of the trip.
Naturally, you anticipate some things will go wrong on tour eg a missed connection, guide not turning up, accommodation not as described, and we were mentally prepared for that.
However every connection was made on time and the accommodation exceeded our high expectations!
The Safari experience itself (which Devryn obviously couldn’t guarantee) was superb. The guides from the lodges we used were experienced, informative, respectful of the animals, considerate of what we had and hadn’t seen previously and so every day (twice a day!) was another trip into the unknown. Everyone hopes to see the Big 5, which we did early on. After that it was a matter of literally sitting back in the jeep and seeing what would turn up. The birdlife was better than I expected (lilac-breasted roller was a favourite), and seeing small animals like mongooses (4 different species), a chameleon and steenbok were unexpected highlights.
The food was varied at the various lodges with usually a buffet of 3 main courses of western style cuisine (although I ate wildebeest, crocodile, kudu and springbok when it was offered).
We finished off with 3 nights in Cape Town to let the Safari experience sink in, which was a very good move.
So in summary, we did some initial research, worked out a plan with Devryn, and he nailed the brief. We’ll never know if it could have been even better, but I seriously doubt it.
