About: Tanzania
Nice place, the worst services in whole Africa safari regions
Overall rating
1/5

Terrible experience with the Safari company MAKINI company, Tanzanians asking for a lots of money with very poor services, much better the safaries in South Africa or Kenia. Parks are managed by the Government and if you sleep in the Camps its own your risk, animals in between the tends, most of the time not water in the public toilettes...dirties etc. Food prepared by Cookers in a vey lack of hygene conditions, roads are terrible, but Tanzanian Gov, gets 45,00 Usd for each tourist going in the parks.

I don't know if you see the above mentioned comments cause I tend to think this site its manipulated

About: Tanzania
My second trip to Africa in 2025
Overall rating
5/5

This is my second time I been to Africa in year of 2025, but this time I go with my mom, dad and students of my mother's psychology studio. Overall the trip was amazing, the children were love the view in the Tanzania. Like Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. They saw most of the animals of the Africa and the views of the national parks. At the meantime, children were also like the Zanzibar as well. Not only the tour of the Stone City, but also they enjoy the beach and snorkelling as we saw the beautiful view under the sea and we got the star fishes as well. The drivers in safaris are relatively due diligence. They take us to feel the magnificent view and introduce the different types animals on the Great Savannahs of Eastern Africa. Also the tour guide Kennedy at Zanzibar helped us to change hotel as well, and bring us to the different places on Zanzibar island.

Finally, I appreciate Zanzi Trekking your sincere service and I wish I can visit more views in Tanzania in the future. It was great pleasure to meet you.

Highly Recommend Reflect Africa Expedition
5/5

We arranged our trip to Botswana with Sox from Reflect Africa Expedition; both Sox and his wife Fatimah, were easy to deal with and made all arrangements, generally speaking we accepted Sox's recommendations, but he was always open to discussions about any change of day or place. He was very accommodating.
We traversed Botswana, from the Central Kalahari, to Makgadikgadi and Nxai Pans, and then north to the Okavango Delta, Moremi, Kwai, Savuti, Chobe. It was an incredible trip. We loved every minute.
Sox's knowledge of the birds and animals was, naturally, superb. However, equally impressive was his knowledge of the indigenous plants and how they complimented the natural landscape, but also the formation of the structure of the different areas - he has a huge knowledge, and love of this beautiful land.
The camping was comfortable and fun, evening discussions around the campfire, delicious meals prepared by Amante - considering he had an unsophisticated small fire to cook over, the variety and tastiness of the meals were just so good. Tents, beds, ensuite facilities were all great, very comfortable.
I recommend Sox and Reflect Africa Expedition very highly, and we are keen to return. We wouldn't use anyone else!

It was such an unforgettable experience.
4/5

We joined a 4-day safari tour and our driver, Francis, was amazing. He handled any issues really well and managed the time perfectly, so we were very satisfied.
But the hot air balloon experience was a huge disappointment. Even though we came as a pair, we were placed on completely opposite sides of the balloon. When we asked to adjust, we were told, “If you don’t want to ride, then don’t.” It left us feeling angry and really disappointed.
The hot air balloon itself is a great experience and I would still recommend it, but I hope the pilot and operator can improve their consideration and respect for guests.

Amazing experience with top class admin before and on the mountain.
5/5

Just finished hiking with my dad and brother, the 7 day Machame route with Almighty Kilimanjaro and had the most amazing experience. Could not recommend more. Operator organisation was perfect from airport transfers to on the mountain.

The whole team were incredible. We were surrounded by a group of happy, supportive and motivational legends who were none stop laughing together.

Our lead guide Muntari was just the absolute best. Such a friendly person, making jokes all the time and helping lift the mood when needed. So knowledgeable about the mountain and also had advice for us whenever we were struggling with anything.

Our second guide Apollinari was also great with lots of cool facts about the vegetation. Amani looked after us morning and night, very gently waking us up with morning tea and hot water to wash as well as encouraging us to eat even when we didn’t want to ! The food was excellent - we were shocked with the fab standard being up a mountain but Shabani our chef ensured our stomachs were always full with a great variety of food and we had fresh fruit every day as well as meat!

The rest of the team ensured we arrived back at camp every day to our tents already set up and chairs for us to sit and always congratulating us. The porters do such hard work.

Day 6 - summit day, was the toughest day of my life and we could not have done it without Muntari, Apollinari, Shabani and Amani who sang us to the top. True legends who even dragged my brother up when he needed it.

We will never ever forget this experience! Thank you so much :)

Best tour operator to bring you to the top af Kilimanjaro and give you an unbelievable safari!
5/5

What an experience!
With a group of 8 (6 Belgians and 2 Thai) we first climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (Uhuru peak). A great team of about 35 people lead by guide Julius supported us all the way and made it into an adventure never to forget.
Every breakfast, lunch and dinner we were amased about how they cook manage to bring this good food to us to those altitudes.
Pole pole we hiked from camp to camp on the Lemosho route.
And finally ended by the fantastic climb to Stella point and top of Uhuru Peak.
All of us reached the top thanks to the great care of Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club.
I took the initiatif to organise this trip and was very happy to find this Arusha based fully Tanzanian company as all of us only wanted lokals to profit from our travel.
The owner Aenea and his wife were so kind to invite us for dinner at his home the day of our return in Arusha with plenty of beers and nice food.
After this fantastic achievement we went on a 5 day safari. We saw big hurds of elephants in Tarangire, many many lions, buffalo, a cheeta and a leopard in Serengeti, Ngorogoro and Lak Manyara added up with other great wildlife and lots of birds. The lodge and especially the tented camp were amazing.
Guide and driver Dominique had lots of knowlegde about the wildlife and was always one step in front of other tourist jeeps to show us the wildlife and an amazing lion hunt.
What a team, what nice people, what a good atmosphere they gave us.
Thanks also to Prince, our contact person who seemed to be reachable at any moment 24h.
We coudn't have chosen a better company to make this great adventure come true!
Thank you very much KASC!!!!!!!!

5/5

From the very first communication, Alvin was clear, friendly, and professional. The service throughout was very good — everything ran smoothly and on time, and we always felt well taken care of. he shared so much knowledge about the wildlife and landscapes, and made sure we got the best possible views. It was good value for money, and his reliability and enthusiasm made the whole experience even more special. I would recommend him to anyone planning a safari!
