We had a wonderful safari experience with Serengeti Smile in Tanzania. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the whole trip was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free.
A special thanks to our guide, Sam. He was very experienced, professional, friendly, and patient. He had an excellent eye for spotting animals and always seemed to know where to look. Thanks to his knowledge and experience, we were able to see a wide variety of wildlife and enjoy many unforgettable moments during the safari. He also shared lots of interesting information about the animals and the national parks, which made the journey even more enjoyable.

We were a group of four and had an absolutely wonderful safari experience with Serengeti Smile. The pre-trip communication was clear and prompt, and everything was well-organized as promised. Our driver-guide was extremely professional, experienced and passionate about wildlife. He knew exactly where to find animals, and we successfully saw the Big Five during our trip. The vehicle was comfortable and well maintained. Great value for money, we highly recommend this tour operator for your Tanzania safari!

Wonderful Days
Perhaps because I was traveling solo, I was placed on a shared tour with travelers arranged by other companies; it took me a moment to fully grasp the situation.
On the day of the trip, Rodgers came to pick me up personally to handle the arrangements and give detailed instructions to Paul, who served as both driver and guide.
Paul skillfully navigated through traffic, and together with Gabriel—the wildlife guide—he led me straight to the animals.
Rodgers also arranged my stay at the Mara Sopa Lodge, as I had requested, ensuring a comfortable experience.
My first visit to Kenya and the Masai Mara was truly wonderful. Thank you very much.

Remarkable safari tour
We booked a safari with Velanti Safari covering Masai Mara and Amboseli, and we were fortunate enough to spot the Big Five. The view of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the plains in Amboseli was breathtaking. Staying in safari tented camps was a truly unforgettable, immersive wilderness experience.
Our guide was knowledgeable and worked hard to track wildlife. The vehicle was well maintained for the rough, dusty park roads.
That said, we encountered one conflict during the trip. Our party of five shared the vehicle with two guests from another separate booking. We had different expectations for the schedule and itinerary, which caused a disagreement between our groups. This was a tricky situation arising from mixing two independent groups in one car with different plans.
Overall, it was a remarkable African safari adventure with amazing wildlife sightings. If you share a vehicle with travellers from other bookings, be prepared for differing preferences on the schedule.

Amazing safari experience with Akondo Adventures from start to finish!!
We booked our safari back in March with the idea that we would be on safari for my wife's 60th birthday and we spent three days visiting Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. Zuberi our guide & driver was brilliant! He looked after us for the 3 days and made sure we were in all the right places to see as much wild life as possible. Tassiana in the Akondo office made everything so easy to plan from the begining right through to when we had to leave and was always on hand to answer any questions i might have and also arranged for a brithday cake and a bespoke wheel cover for my wife's 60th birthday.
I would highly recommend Akondo Adventures if you're planning on booking a safari.

Amazing safari with Serengeti Smile
We wanted a luxurious safari for our honey moon and was contacted by Serengeti Smile through Safaribookings. Frederick was very helpful with helping us book our dream safari.
We had an amazing safari with a great tour guide called Samuel! He was very knowledgeable and found all the animals we wanted to see. He was also a very kind and considerate person, and we felt very safe the whole time.
The accommodations that were booked were also great!

Dream honeymoon
Adele planned the most perfect honeymoon for us. It was the perfect combination of once in a lifetime experience in the bush and relaxing and romantic at the beach!

We had a fantastic experience with Charles as our safari guide in Kenya. He was extremely professional, reliable and always on time.
Charles was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and taught us so much about the different animals, their behaviour and the areas we visited. He made a real effort throughout the safari to show us as much wildlife as possible and worked very hard to help us find the animals we particularly wanted to see.
We saw an incredible variety of animals and really appreciated how patient and committed Charles was to making sure we had the best possible experience. He was also friendly, approachable and a pleasure to spend our safari with.

Everything was fine
We did a 7-day private budget safari with Smart Lickers. We had a driver and a guide in training, which was great for us. Kevin explained so many things to us, and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed.
The places we stayed were very basic, so it is good to know what to expect before booking. We knew this before the trip and were happy with our choice. For us, it was part of the experience. We preferred to spend more money on great experiences than on luxury accommodation, and I would make the same choice again.
Even though the accommodation was cheap, the food was really delicious. Sometimes there was a small buffet. Other times, we could choose meat or a vegetarian meal in advance and then got a plate of food. It was always very tasty. For breakfast, we usually had eggs, some bread or pastries, fruit or vegetables, and coffee or tea. We always enjoyed it, and there was more than enough food.
We especially loved Hell’s Gate, where you can cycle through the park. After several days in the car, this felt really good. The island visit (Crescent Island) at Lake Naivasha was also a real highlight. Both activities were optional and cost extra. We had to pay for them there. If we had read the offer more carefully, we would have known this. They were definitely worth the money.
At Hell’s Gate, you can also choose a short, medium or long walk at the end. However, the local guide did not clearly explain that each option had a different price. My tip is to ask about the prices before you start.
I have to say that seven days on safari can be very tiring. The days are full, and there is so much to see and experience. But I would do exactly the same trip again. Every park was different and well worth visiting.
Overall, I can really recommend this company. Our guides were always reliable and on time, and we felt safe throughout the trip. Our driver cared about the animals. He gave them space and drove carefully. We still saw so many animals, including many different kinds, and often saw them up close. Both guides did their best to help us see and do everything we wanted, as far as nature allowed. 😊
