We were so excited to go on our first-ever gorilla trek, but budget was a huge limiting factor. Obed worked with our budget to make sure that we got the experience we were looking for without overspending. Our "budget" hotel was perfectly comfortable, and the attention we received from the safari planners was amazing. We were very impressed with their dedication to our trip being incredible! My husband and I were picked at the airport by the driver. The communication was fast and clear. Rose is passionate about her job and she custom-made a safari to meet our needs. During the 4 days, we stayed in budget camps and we loved the experience. Richard, our driver was patient and competent. He ensured we saw the big five, especially the leopard, which is a shy. Hyrax Safaris has a wonderful team. I have already recommended them to my friends and colleagues. I will book with them again.

Simply AMAZING
I could not have been happier with the safari experience that our guide Michael provided us!! From the locations we visited to the lodges we stayed at and the food and drinks we enjoyed, it was absolutely the trip of a lifetime.
It was Michaels personality and expertise, however, that truly made this safari the most incredible experience I could have ever hoped for. I cannot wait to get back to Africa again, and there is no other guide that I would consider for my next safari!!!

A fantastic ride across the desert
Everything was extremely good. The ride was amazing, the food great, the horses good and the experience of sleeping under the stars was different. The organisers could not have been more helpful and fun.

South Africa is such an amazing Country. We spent time in East London Town, Cape Town, Johannesburg and the safari in Kruger National Park. The weather was perfect , the food was amazing and the animals were awesome. The US dollar went so far it was great. I would recommend everyone to go and experience the people, culture and animals

Authentic up close look at life in Nairobi
My wife and sister did a one day tour in Nairobi including a cooking class. Chris helped us to see all the real sides of life in Nairobi not just the traditional sanitized tour of the city. He is professional, knowledgeable and punctual. Five Star.
