The safari in selous and mikumi was great and our driver/guide Said was a very pleasent person and with a great knowledge of animals and birds. Everything worked out and we had a very good trip. Gecko adventure was very Quick to reply and being very helpful preparing our trip

Fantastic safari
We are a family of four and Mama Savana organized for us a wonderful Safari in a tented camp. We spent 1 night in lake Nakuru and 4 nights in Masai Mara. Everything was perfect. Perfect guide, perfect car, the tented camp was nice, clean and well organized. Food was very good and everything went the right way. Thanks Mama Savana for the wonderful time we had!

Good camp in very remote area offering excellent game walks
Very accommodating staff who help in every way despite the camp being in such a remote area. I was very happy with my stay there, even if it was very hot! Note this was 6 years ago.

5 Years of tours with Savannah and still can't fault them!
As part of a project I run I have been taking groups to Tanzania since 2008 and have always relied on Savannah Tours for all our transport and accommodation throughout. The groups have ranged from 7 - 27 people of differing ages from all over the world and who forward to a taste of life in Tanzania. All arrangements from pick up at the airport, travel and accommodation all over the country, including safaris, beach breaks and the visit to the school which is the subject of my Project, are undertaken by Savannah. Amazing. Pure luxury, and romance in the middle of the bush. Nicest Tented camp i have been to.
This was an incredible safari! Fly camp was beautifuly set up... white bed sheets and duvet covers, within a big canvas tent. All the small details to make it feel luxurious even though its a fly camp in the middle of the bush. We heard lions roaring every night.. and saw lots of game. The horses are wonderful, and the staff is very kind helpful and professional.

The trip of a lifetime!
Thank you so much Safarihub. We had an absolutely fantastic time. We were all so shocked by the beauty of Zanzibar. It was certainly the trip of a lifetime, who can forget the topaz waters and waking up to the beautiful sunrise. We miss Tanzania already.

Excellent safari!
Before the trip many times I wrote letters and called to Mr.Otieno about our route. He helped create the best route. In nine days we visited 5 parks in Kenya and Tanzania. Total we had four people from. When we arrived Otti already waited for us in airport. He took us to a nice hotel and organized a tour of Nairobi. All hotels and campgrounds where we stayed was consistent with price and quality. The driver was a good guide and very well known parks. Addition to the driver , with us the whole trip was a great cook who always cooked delicious food. During Safari had no problems, we saw all the big five, made the best photos and went to rest on Zanzibar. If you need more information, Otti have my contacts.

Amazing Mt. Kilimanjaro experience with AHLA!
Hi I am 56 years old woman and I hiked Kilimanjaro with AHLA -Arusha Hostel Lodge & Adventures. It was a life changing experience!!! Justin (the owner) and his staff met every need I could have possibly had. Justin stayed right by my side on summit night, encouraging me every step of the way! While climbing up the breakfast wall, Justin offered his hand to me to get up some difficult maneuvers. The food was so delicious...homemade soup every night...and sweet/salty fresh popcorn awaiting us when we arrived at each camp. A cake was made and all of the porters, guides and cooks celebrated my accomplishment in the last camp site. I was so impressed with this company that I ended up giving a total of $1000 tip...never had I done that!! I have reccommended AHLA to many friends and all of my children have now hiked Kilimanjaro and gone on Safari with AHLA. I HIGHLY advise you to go with AHLA..you will not regret it!

My father had previously been on a trek to Kilimanjaro with Kambona and his group 4 years ago. I had planned to take a trip to East Africa on my own, and decided to contact Kambona to see if I could add on to a group that he already was booked. He not only made accommodations for me, but my brother, our friend, and my father (who decided to come again). Kambona personally picked us up from the airport and waited for an extra hour (due a luggage issue). He made sure to take us to the airport the next day to pick up bags which were essential for our hike. The hike itself was intense but made all the more achievable by Kambona, his main guides, and the porter team (which he picks and tries to work with on every trek). Our camping experience in the Serengeti was also excellent, with another familiar team of helpers and cook, that have worked with Africa VIP for years. This is a group that really knows what they are doing, and really knows how to give visitors an authentic, but attended trekking and camping experience. Kambona has many friends scattered throughout the world, and we share his fantastic reputation with our closest friends, so they too can have the best experience in East Africa.
