Edith and the team were incredible, our holiday was a dream come true.
Having lived in Kenya for 7 years, it was magical to return and to receive the highest standard of service from this outstanding and local tour company. From start to finish, Edith and the team could not have done more to make our trip more special. All transport was flawless and easy. Edith met with us in Nairobi for a wonderful lunch and provided personalized water bottles and blankets for us to take on our safari which was a lovely touch. Our driver Peter was fantastic, so knowledgeable and dedicated to his profession. It was wonderful getting to know him during our trip. We stayed for 10 days, Edith organized all our accommodation and game drives. We spent two nights in Nairobi where we visited the famous David Sheldrick elephant orphanage and the Giraffe Sanctuary, staying at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden. We then spent 2 nights at Sweetwaters Serena Ol Pajeta in the luxury camping tents. We saw lots of rhino, it was incredible. We spent one night at Sarova Nakuru lodges, with wonderful rooms looking over the most stunning views. We ended our trip with four nights at Sarova Mara Camp. This was the highlight of our trip. Edith arranged for us to stay in the premium accommodation. The food and setting was incredible, and the tented camping was beautiful. We had the most incredible time. We decided to fly from the Masai Mara to return to Nairobi, Edith organized this flawlessly for us and arranged for us to have a room in the Hilton hotel at the airport to relax in before our returning flight. 5 stars and we cannot wait to return again! A memorable safari experience ever
Our safari experience to Tanzania with Serengeti Unforgettable Safaris was amazing! Everything was perfect, we saw different herds of animals, we slept in great and good accommodations and every day we had a delicious picnic lunch. Our guide Japhet was very friendly. He knows everything in the parks, he told us so many stories and explanations about animals, nature and history if the country. And above all, he speaks quite a perfect English! It is a big quality and very appreciated because I traveled with my partner. Japhet was very understanding and patient.

An Amazing Safari Experience in Kenya
Our safari with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris was an incredible experience. But considering the unexpected situation we faced during our trip, what was even more incredible was the support, kindness, and care we received from the team. They went above and beyond to help us during a difficult moment, and we will always be grateful for that. The way they handled everything made us feel supported and safe when we needed it most. Great Safari partner
My partner and I recently completed an amazing 8 day safari with GoExplore. Dorcus , in the office, was a great partner in organizing an agenda that suited us and was a very reliable in communicating through the preceding months. Our guide was Andrew. He was an extremely knowledgeable guide about not just the traditional safari questions but happily answered all of our questions about the history, government, society, and economy of Rwanda. Rwanda was surprisingly clean and welcoming. (Cleaner than most North American cities). We combined a couple of traditional safari drives at Akagera National Park with Gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee trekking, and Golden Monkey trekking. A busy but extremely rewarding vacation; with big thanks to GoExplore.

Committed to providing a wonderful experience
My mom and I were really happy with the safari that Jasmine (owner of Sarafika) put together for us. And we were also very happy that Sarafika is owned and run by local Tanzanians, as we wanted our money to stay as local as possible. Jasmine also works to book lodges/hotels owned by Tanzanians.
We felt it was reasonably priced and that we received excellent service. She was always available to help us with any issues that came up. For example, our luggage did not arrive upon landing at the airport. She helped ensure we took the right steps to get our luggage and also served as our point of contact for arranging its timely delivery since we opted not to get SIM cards during our safari.
The lodges and hotels we were booked at were wonderful. There were a couple mix-ups about our rooms when we were given rooms with just one bed instead of two. But the lodges were very flexible for us and either switched our rooms or gave us an extra room free of charge. Also, Jasmine worked to make sure that our future reservations had the right room type.
Our guide was also top notch. Boniface was knowledgeable, friendly, and had a supernatural ability to spot animals! He did everything he could to give us the best experience. We were even the very first car to arrive at a Mara River crossing, which was crazy! Of course it’s nature and there’s a big element of luck to what you will see as well.
If you want a great safari, look no further than Sarafika!

Amazing Safari Experience at Maasai Mara
We just concluded our safari experience at Maasai Mara provided by Axis Africa and our incredible guide Kelvin. As our guide all the way from the center of Nairobi, Kelvin provided us with a once in a lifetime experience, taking us on a quick tour of Nairobi National Park and a visit to Sheldrick Wildlife Trust followed by a journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve and back. Kelvin was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, attentive, kind, and funny and really made this a trip to remember. We would be thrilled to have Kelvin as our guide again in the future and would recommend both him and Axis Africa to anyone looking for an amazing and genuine safari adventure. Thank you Kelvin!

Kelvin is the BEST Ever!!
Our guide for five days was Kelvin Ngamia. Not only was he very personable & friendly, he was so very knowledgeable!! He was able to locate all of the wildlife we wanted to see & did it with such ease, you can tell he is very experienced. He also gave us a lot of very interesting information about each animal & the parks (we visited Nairobi NP, Sheldrick, & Maasai Mara). It truly made our safari experience as a family even better & we are so grateful we were matched with Kelvin. We will miss his friendly smile & demeanor! We definitely want to make it back someday & will absolutely choose Kelvin again!! Asante sana.

Relaxed competence and safe operation
Our guide and driver, Japheth, was warm, friendly and relaxed, and it was clear from the get-go that we were in good, competent hands.
He declared his interest and knowledge of birds early on, but none of us were into birds. By the time it was over, though, we’d learned quite a bit about the birds in Tanzania in addition to the animals, which is all we thought we’d come for.
He had a keen eye for spotting the animals and accommodated all our requests to stop and slow down or explain more. We got fantastic shots and learned so much more about them. We had many questions and he answered them all, except for one, where he admitted he didn’t know the answer (it was about a tree we wanted to know the name of) and would have to check.
Japheth was also very punctual but never made us feel we were on a tight schedule. Best life provided a pretty decent and tasty picnic lunch for each day and the lodge we were accommodated in was the best surprise of the whole trip. Pity we didn’t plan an extra day so we could enjoy the facilities and grounds.
I felt Best Life gave us good value for our money and I would definitely recommend them and Japheth. Our intitial contact was Jaqueline and Best Life in General was very responsive from the very start.
If I had any suggestions for improvement, it would only be to give customers the option of leaving earlier for the parks so we would stand more of a chance of seeing the hunt or the spoils of the big cats’ hunting expeditions.
