An Unforgettable Trip with an Amazing Local Company – Highly Recommended!
We booked our safari in Tanzania with Destiny Explorers, and we would choose them again without hesitation. From our very first contact to the end of our trip, everything went smoothly. Communication with Issa, the owner, was always friendly, professional, reliable and never pushy. We felt we were in good hands from the very beginning.
Destiny Explorers is a small, locally owned company and a great alternative to the many large tour operators run by foreign companies. What really impressed us was the excellent value for money. For everything that was included, the price was hard to beat.
A very special thank you goes to our guide, Hussein. His warm personality, helpfulness and incredible knowledge made our safari an unforgettable experience. Whether we had questions about animals, plants, nature or everyday life in Tanzania, he was always happy to answer them, and we learned so much from him. He had a real eye for spotting animals we would never have noticed ourselves. He could often tell what might happen next just by watching their behaviour. Thanks to him, we were able to see large prides of lions, cheetahs hunting and even rare rhinos. He always took his time with us and did much more than simply drive us from one place to another.
What stood out to us in particular was how dedicated Hussein was. We sometimes saw other safari guides drop their guests off at a viewing spot and then wait in their vehicles. Hussein, on the other hand, always came along with us, pointed out interesting details and explained what we were seeing. It was clear that he truly cares about his work and about making sure his guests have the best possible experience.
The accommodation and food were also very good throughout the trip. The places we stayed were beautifully located and offered the perfect setting to relax after exciting days on safari. Everything was very well organised, so we never had to worry about the arrangements or logistics.
Our days in Tarangire, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater were filled with special moments we will never forget. Seeing wild animals in their natural surroundings and spending nights surrounded by nature were truly extraordinary experiences.

Highly recommended – an unforgettable safari with a fantastic local company!
We went on a multi-day safari with Destiny Explorers, visiting Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, as well as taking additional excursions around Mount Kilimanjaro, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The trip was incredibly rewarding, exceptionally well organised and worth every cent. In our opinion, Destiny Explorers offers the best value for money by far.
One aspect we’d particularly like to highlight is that Destiny Explorers is a small, locally owned company – a wonderful alternative to the many larger operators run by foreign companies. We really appreciate being able to support a local business with our booking.
A huge thank you goes to our guide, Hussein, who made our trip truly special. He is incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive, with an impressive knowledge of wildlife, nature and life in Tanzania. We could ask him anything at any time, and he always explained things clearly and enthusiastically, helping us understand the bigger picture. Most importantly, he has an exceptional eye for spotting animals and a remarkable ability to interpret their behaviour. Thanks to him, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife and witnessed some fascinating moments, from large prides of lions and cheetahs on the hunt to rare rhinos.
What particularly sets Hussein apart is his personal commitment. During our safari, we repeatedly noticed other guides simply dropping off their guests and then waiting in their vehicles. Hussein, on the other hand, always accompanied us, pointed out interesting things and explained what there was to discover. He was consistently by our side and genuinely went out of his way to ensure we experienced and understood as much as possible. He also placed great importance on keeping his vehicle clean. Whenever time allowed, he cleaned both the exterior and the interior of our safari vehicle after the tours. His attention to detail and dedication really impressed us.
The accommodation and food were also excellent throughout the entire trip. All the places we stayed had been carefully selected, were beautifully located and offered a comfortable place to relax after eventful days on safari. We were equally happy with the food at every stage of the journey. Everything came together perfectly, from the accommodation and meals to the organisation of each part of the itinerary.
Communication with Issa, the owner of Destiny Explorers, was also excellent from the very beginning. He was always professional, reliable and pleasantly unobtrusive. All arrangements were straightforward and trustworthy, which made us feel we were in good hands even before the trip began.
Over the course of that week, we experienced so much, saw an incredible diversity of wildlife and created memories that will stay with us for a long time. The organisation, Hussein’s guidance and the overall value for money exceeded our expectations.
We wholeheartedly recommend Destiny Explorers and would travel with them again without hesitation. A huge thank you to Issa and, in particular, to Hussein for making this such an unforgettable experience!

It was a dream come true, an incredible journey into the heart of the wild.
Seeing animals in their natural habitat, free to live according to their own rhythms, was an indescribable emotion. But what made this experience even more special was Patrice, an extraordinary and knowledgeable guide who shared his deep love and respect for nature with us.
Thanks to him, we didn’t just admire the animals — we truly got to know them. We learned how they live, how they find food, how they protect themselves, how they behave, and how they survive every day in the wild.
Every explanation he gave us taught us something new, turning each wildlife sighting into an incredible moment of discovery and learning.
It was truly emotional to feel part of such an authentic and extraordinary world, even if only for a few days.

Uganda: once-in-a-lifetime experience!
An absolutely highly recommended safari experience in Uganda! Our guide, Ossman, was driving us through a safari across the country's main national parks, sharing insights into local culture and ensuring each day was perfectly organized. The accommodations included in the itinerary were very comfortable and high-quality, ensuring maximum comfort after a day of driving in the safari vehicle. We saw the major animals of the African savanna, including leopards and lions perched in euphorbia trees. The scenery along the Nile River and at Murchison Falls was also captivating. The trip included unforgettable experiences: gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park and tracking chimpanzees up close in Kibale Forest. We also asked our guide if it was possible to visit a Batwa Pygmy community—hunter-gatherers native to the African Great Lakes region. Our request was granted, and the opportunity to connect with the local culture was fantastic. The company offers excellent value for money.

Wonderful
There are not enough words to describe how wonderful the days we spent between Zimbabwe and Botswana with Janet were. We chose to trust AOW because, compared to other offers, they had the best quality-price ratio and especially for the number of activities planned. We had no idea we couldn’t have chosen better. Janet was fantastic with us; she followed us from our arrival until our return to the airport, even going beyond what was planned, since we arrived one day early and left two days later. She organized everything perfectly and chose the best local guides who, thanks to their passion in explaining everything to us in detail, made this the most beautiful holiday we have ever had. The accommodations were always both beautiful to look at and clean, with many services. We will always carry these days and everything we experienced in our hearts, and we have promised ourselves to return as soon as possible to see other places. Our Tsavo West and Tsavo East Safari Experience
Our trip to Tsavo West and Tsavo East was a wonderful and thrilling experience, and I would highly recommend Joseph to anyone looking for an excellent safari guide.
Here are some of the things that stood out to us:
1. Punctuality, kindness, and professionalism: Joseph was always punctual, drove safely, and was exceptionally kind throughout the trip.
2. Knowledge and storytelling: He was very knowledgeable about wildlife, had an incredible ability to spot animals, and told beautiful stories with a great sense of humour. His knowledge and storytelling made the experience even more enjoyable.
3. Amazing wildlife sightings: We were fortunate to see a variety of animals. The biggest highlights for me were seeing several lions preparing to attack, witnessing a cheetah attacking an antelope, and spotting a hyena. These were truly thrilling moments!
4. Patience, dedication, and sacrifice: I particularly appreciated Joseph's patience and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure we had the best possible experience. He navigated difficult situations, sought assistance whenever necessary, and made sacrifices to ensure we enjoyed our safari.
5. Excellent arrangements and accommodation: Joseph made excellent arrangements for our accommodation. The hotels were comfortable, offered lovely meals, and provided beautiful views of the wildlife. He also managed our time very well, ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
