Truly made our African dream come true
5/5

Me and two of my friends booked two safaris with Terminal Tours Kenya.
They were the first company to answer our questions and the only company to give us a price more or less right away.
The people we were in contact with were friendly and helpful. We paid 30% when we ordered and the rest when we came to Nairobi.

Our first safari went to Sweetwaters, Mount Kenya, Nakuru and Masai Mara.
Our driver, Sammy, was just perfect. He had answer to all of our questions and he told us about history, nature and animals- most of it we did not know up front. We all got along perfectly and we jokes and had a good time. We were all excited to help look for animals, and Sammy could spot them so quickly we refereed to him as hawkeye :) The chef we had when we were in Masai Mara was also brilliant. We are all vegetarians are are used to often getting boring food on trips like this, but it was all great and tasteful.

When we came back to Nairobi, the owner Nelson and others from the office met us to make sure we had a great trip, which showed us how important it was to them that we had a good time. We had not pre-booked the same driver, but they made it possible as we loved him so much.

So our second safari to Amboseli and Tsavo east and west, a week after, we were again reunited with Sammy. Again, he was nothing less then perfect.

Through our entire trip we felt good taken care of, safe and happy.

When the safari was finished, Debbie from the office also helped me personally get around Nairobi to have my hair done + some more, which was really helpful and sweet- and nothing she had to to but chose to do.

I recommend Terminal Tours Kenya strongly.
I have gotten friends for life in the employees of TTK and they truly made my African dream come true and if/WHEN I go back- I will for sure use them again.

A Custom Safari at an Extraordinary Value
5/5

We made several iterations by communicating back and forth with Selma until we ended up with a custom safari that exceeded our expectations. Everything from accommodations, game drives, and our exceptional guide, Humphrey, made this trip one we won't forget. Highly, highly recommend the Kati Kati Tented Camp in the Serengeti.

well organised, excellent guide, driver and very good program to feel and experience North Tanzania
5/5

We booked the trip via Matoke in the Netherlands and we understand that Easy Travel had organised the trip including the selection of the lodges and hotels. We got all the required information and no problems at all. Useful to start with a meeting in head office in Arusha. Special note for our guide, driver (Cosmas): he was very good and was able to showed us all what we wanted to see.
we visited NP Tarangire, NP Lake Manyara, NP Serengeti and NP Ngorongoro krater

Definitely a trip of a lifetime
5/5

I visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Tarangire in 5 days/4 nights with Big Time Safaris and I saw everything I always wanted to see. My friend and I travelled in April which is apparently “low season” Weather was wonderful, except few rain showers at night, and prices were much lower, I would recommend travelling during low season if you are on budget.
Our tour guide John was very helpful and friendly; he recommended a stop at Maasai village which is an unforgettable experience and a “must see” At first, we signed up for camping safari, because it was in our budget, but upon our arrival to Arusha, our travel agent asked if we wanted to spent few nights at the lodge for a reasonable fee and that turned out to be a great decision and opportunity. The lodges at Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater were amazing and the food was incredible. The views are fascinating. I woke up every morning at the down to see the sun rise. If budget permits, I would recommend staying at least one night in one of the lodges. Our cook was good, our meals were well planned and they made sure that meals were prepared according to our specific diets.
Everyone at the agency was wonderful and very helpful. The tour agent in Arusha gave us good recommendations on where to dine and helped us with plane tickets from Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar. The travel agent in the main office, Martha, stayed in touch with me throughout the trip and made sure that everything was ok. Martha went a mile further and even helped book a hotel in Zanzibar.

About: Biwakwango
two weeks in Kruger National Park
4/5

Hello,

We had a specify idea of what we wanted to do: cross from north to south the Kruger National Park. And this with a budget does not allow us to attend luxurious logdes and private concessions. Thierry from Biwakwango has designed an auto-tour through most states camps, although with a private reserve for the first and last days. Everything worked well thanks to vouchers: aircraft, car, lodges. A daily road book contained all the necessary information. In brief, two weeks of safaris in the bush every day. Oh happiness.

Kruger in winter
Overall rating
5/5

Kruger National Park in South Africa is one of he best places in the world to escape the winter cold.
Many internationals and locals tourist flocks to this beautiful protected wildlife wilderness.

Birding in winter is not the best as many species left to the warmer parts of Africa and even Europe area's but their is still some stunning species flying around mostly residents like the Bateleur and Martial eagles.

This is also a very good time to observe crocodiles and hippos doing sunbathing as the water temperature is cool and reptiles are cold blooded so they seek the son.

The shrubs and trees loses their leaves and the bush becomes more open to see animals from a distance especially Leopards are very active next to rivers and waterholes as animals concentrates during the heat of the day. Lions also uses this opportunity to wait for unexpected pray animals like Zebra and Giraffe to drink so that they can launch a surprise attack.

The landscape turn a light brown colour and sunrises and sunsets are unmatched with the dust and smoke from veld fires covering the horizons. The stars are also amazing at night although you will need a jacket and blanket on game drives early morning and late afternoons it worth the effort.

The Kruger is a special place during the year but the winter sun changes this landscape into a amazing place defiantly worth a visit for a couple of days.

All major restaurants in the park has been upgraded and the Skukuza Airport just re-open so fly in safaris is possible.

Northern Circuit is a great operator for budget concious traveler
4/5

We went just before the peak season. We had great experience with an experienced Driver/Guide who took us places and knew where wildlife secret spots were. I would recommend them. If you are south asian the lunch packs will be cold and bland. We went back to the hotel to have warm lunches which the our Guide was more than accomodating to our requests. Michael (owner) was very helpful to customize our daily itinerary. Overall Tanzanians are good people.
