Conservation Caravan Safaris delivers on the safari trip of a life time!
In September 2026, our group of six friends embarked on a 13-day private safari and Zanzibar adventure with Conservation Caravan Safaris. We chose Conservation Caravan because other friends of ours had traveled with them and had an amazing experience. Based on their enthusiastic recommendation, we contacted Ombeni Samson Maka and his wife, Helen, and asked them to recreate the itinerary for us.
Our journey began in Arusha and took us through Tarangire National Park, the Central and Northern Serengeti, the Mara River region, and Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, we enjoyed eight days of wildlife viewing in our Land Cruiser, comfortable safari lodges and tented camps. We also had an exhilarating sunrise hot-air balloon flight over the Serengeti - highly recommended. We concluded our trip with four nights on Zanzibar, exploring the history and culture of Stone Town before relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Nungwi.
From the initial planning through our final airport transfer, Conservation Caravan Safaris coordinated the entire experience, including accommodations, transportation, park visits, and excursions. Ombeni and Helen were always easy to reach, responsive to our questions, and an absolute pleasure to work with.
And then there was Brown Minja, our exceptional safari guide!
His knowledge of the animals, the landscape, and where to find wildlife added immeasurably to our adventure. He seemed to know just where to go, and his enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge made every game drive a learning experience. We saw the Big 5 in the first two days, and lost count at 65 lions! We enjoyed watching Brown interact with the other guides and lodge staff. His warmth and genuine friendships with the people we encountered spoke volumes about the kind of person he is.
One particularly heartwarming part of our experience. Brown encouraged us to share our leftover lunch items with people in need whom we encountered along the roads. It was a simple gesture that became a meaningful part of our journey and gave us an even greater appreciation for the people of Tanzania.
Most of all, we loved how Brown laughed with us—and at us! His wonderful sense of humor, and easygoing personality made him feel like part of our group rather than simply our guide. We will always remember Brown and the role he played in making memories that will last a lifetime.
Our heartfelt thanks to Ombeni, Helen, and especially Brown. We couldn't have asked for a more memorable introduction to Tanzania, and we wholeheartedly recommend Conservation Caravan Safaris to anyone considering a safari adventure. We felt it was a real value for the money.

Wonderful organizers of an unforgettable stay at the camp on the Okavango River.
We had a wonderful stay at the camp on the banks of the Okavango. The tents were very comfortable, and we had toilets and showers for our group of nine. The entire crew took care of all our needs. The cook was amazing! We had a wonderful time by the campfire, listening to stories about the river, the people, and Botswana. Thank you.

Efficient, worth the money.
Their services are reliable and Wanjiru was easy to work with. We travelled to Masai Mara and Nakuru with my family and we enjoyed the whole 4 days. Shadrack our driver-guide was knowledgeable about the wildlife and one thing, he is a really good spotter. Esther was always checking in to see how we were fairing during the safari and that stood out for us. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do a private and family safari, we felt catered for throughout.

An amazing safari experience
We booked our 3 days safari with Arina Wild Adventures aprox 5 months before our travel. Everything went really smooth from the first contact. After our booking they sent us all information and answered all our queries quickly along the way. The safari itself was an experience that we can not describe in words. We were really well taken care of from beginning to end. We saw everything we wanted to see and more. We even saw a big leopard with her fresh kill in the tree, which we know is a blessing to witness for anyone. Our guide was the best ever, Sylvester was a local and very experienced guide who made our whole safari experience an adventure. We will highly recommend Arina wild adventures.

My boyfriend and I had the most unforgettable experience with Joshua, the owner and founder of Sustainable Safari Tours.
What made this safari truly exceptional was not only Joshua’s incredible knowledge and experience as a wildlife guide, but also the opportunity to discover Maasai culture through him. As a Maasai himself, Joshua gave us a unique and authentic insight into the Maasai way of life, language, traditions, and deep connection with nature, something we could never have experienced in the same way with a conventional safari.
Throughout the entire trip, we felt completely immersed in the wilderness. Joshua’s profound knowledge of wildlife and years of experience allowed us to understand the animals on a much deeper level, learning about their behaviours, interactions, and the delicate balance of the ecosystem. Amazing sunset safari with Kurt Safari
We had a wonderful morning safari drive with Kurt Safari and couldn't be happier with our experience!
Reservations & Customer Care: The reservations team was fantastic both prior to and during our booking. They communicated everything clearly and were super patient with all my questions throughout the planning process—much appreciated!
The Game Drive & Guide: Our guide, Vulan was incredible—so knowledgeable, personable, and passionate. The vehicle and drive itself were very comfortable and perfectly planned.
The Experience: While the early morning was a bit quiet on the animal sighting front, our guide Vulan did everything possible and stayed completely dedicated to finding wildlife for us. His patience paid off in the end! We also enjoyed stopping at a few rest camps along the way—including one memorable encounter where a cheeky monkey managed to steal our breakfast!

An Unforgettable Kenya Safari Experience
We had a wonderful safari experience with Lenchada Safaris covering Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Naivasha. Everything was well organized, and Alex was very helpful and responsive throughout the arrangements.
