Amazing and informative guides, made our safari experience what it was!
I would highly recommend Unveiled Tanzania Safaris to anyone looking to do a quality, but affordable, safari in Tanzania. Over my four day safari with them, I had the opportunity to see Tarangire Park, the world famous Serengeti Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. During each of these days, my tours were led by a guide who informed us about all of the animals and the history of the parks. Two of the nights were spent camping, which was an adventure in and of itself. The campgrounds are completely safe and monitored by safari rangers, but you can expect to hear (and maybe even see!) wild animals during the day and night! Another highlight of this safari experience was the food. All of our meals were home cooked by a wonderful chef, and there was always the perfect amount for our large group of 6-7. These meals gave us an opportunity to try authentic Tanzanian food.
Overall, I would recommend Unveiled Tanzania Safaris to anyone looking to do a meaningful and enjoyable safari in Tanzania. If and when I come back to the country for my next safari, I plan to rebook with them!

Amazing feels like family
The game safari were awesome, but even if we went for 2 hour just to get in habit of safari, our guide John showed us all big 5 and gave time and perfect angles for photo graph. The guides hotels and mainly the safari is value for money.

Very nice!
The communication with the operator went very well. They came to our hotel the night before to provide us with some more information about our hike on Mount Meru.
They went through a list with everything we needed and it seemed we weren't prepared as good as we thought. Maybe a little tip for the operator: sent a list upfront with everything you need for the hike.
It wasn't a problem for them to stop at the rental/supermarket to provide us with some more stuff.
Kadjia (think it's written like this) was a very nice guide and talked us through everything. Once on the mountain he helped us a lot (like carrying my water bottle because according to him, it was too heavy for me). Normally, you're supposed to hike to Saddle hut on day 2, do an acclimatisation to Little Meru, come down and wake up the next day at around 1pm to start the hike to the summit. As it would be raining the day after, they suggested us to do the hike to the summit the same day and watch the sunset, which was good for us as it was sunny. My boyfriend and I were very sick from the acclimatisation so Kadjia carried my backpack for me to the summit. The paths were very rough but they always made sure I could follow and felt safe.
The sunset was beautiful and I was so happy that we still did it the same day!!
The day after, we had to descend and I felt a bit rushed but that was not from dancing simba safaries, but someone from another operator. Our guide always said "pole pole" as I twisted my ankle a couple of times.

Top notch operator
The trip was well organised. With timely feedback from the operator to the tour itself. The safari was our highlight with front row views of Africa's wildlife. We saw all the big five thanks to Kush our guide. The accomodation too was amazing and the African cuisine great. Thank you team Axis and Kush for your impeccable services. My family will forever remember this trip in nostalgia.

Definitely worth it!!
The communication with Elizabeth was perfect from the beginning. There weren’t a lot of reviews for Goldfinch so we were a little careful, but everything went perfect!
There was a little change in planning but that was okay for us and well communicated by Elizabeth. Our guide for the first days was Athumani Simba. You could tell he LOVED his job. He was always looking with us to find the animals, took us everywhere! He was also so funny!
Mind that the drives can be long, but Simba was a good driver! The food was also amazing because for lunch, we saw a lot of people with boxes filled with different stuff, but we had warm freshly cooked meals everyday for lunch and dinner!
Our last day at Lake Manyara was with Augustino who also loved doing his job. He explained everything so well and made sure we were comfortable and we could give our opinion.
10/10 would definitely recommend!

One of the best experiences we have ever had
In April 2025, we went on a 3-day safari in Tanzania with Akondo Adventures – and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! From the start, everything was organized perfectly: We received our domestic flight tickets even before our journey began, and the hotel transfer was punctual and smooth – we were picked up early to make the most of the day.
Our guide, Mr. Rama, was absolutely fantastic. He shared so much knowledge, took the time to stop wherever there were animals to observe, and made the whole experience incredibly special. We were lucky enough to spot all of the Big Five, and Mr. Rama answered every single question our 10-year-old son had with great care and joy. He really went above and beyond for us.
One of the absolute highlights was the hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti – a breathtaking, magical experience! The lodges selected by the agency were stunning – every one of them comfortable, clean, and full of warm, welcoming people. We felt safe and at home the entire time.
I celebrated my birthday on April 9th, and in the evening the team at the lodge surprised me with a cake and sang for me – all arranged by Akondo Adventures. It was incredibly touching and unforgettable.
We visited Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater – each one unique and awe-inspiring. On the final day, my husband wasn't feeling well, and Mr. Rama kindly took us to a pharmacy, helped with translation, and made sure we got the right medication – such personal care is rare and so appreciated!
To top it all off, the agency’s director personally came to the airport in Arusha to check in with us and say goodbye before we returned to Zanzibar – a truly special gesture.
Great value, fantastic communication, unforgettable memories.

Amazing tour operator and unforgettable experience!
The organisation from Makini prior to the safari was fantastic, the staff were responsive for any questions I had via what’s app very quickly, every detail was thought of and communicated to us.
Our guide Calvin was absolutely incredible and really the highlight of our trip, he was so knowledgeable and friendly and made our experience 10/10
The jeeps were comfortable, had everything you needed and very well designed.
The camps we stayed at were great, the food was amazing and staff couldn’t do many more for you if they tried. The lunches we had in the game drives were also great.
The hot air balloon experience was absolutely unforgettable and once in a lifetime.
Would 10/10 recommend this company and will definitely be suggesting to friends and family if they ever go to Tanzania safari

Since the beginning of the booking, this company offered a phenomenal service. Tony, our guide is very friendly and has great degree of knowledge regarding animals in Ambroselli, Masai Mara.
