During my 8-day journey across Tanzania, I really would like to mention my driver Festo, who truly added value to our safari.
Right from the start, it was clear that Festo is someone with a true passion for life, and he brings that vibrant energy directly into his work. You can tell how deeply he loves what he does—his dedication and enthusiasm are reflected in his big knowledge.
As the designated "interviewer" of our group, I bombarded him with endless questions about local customs, culture, wildlife, and flora. Festo was always remarkably patient, approachable, and eager to share his deep expertise, making every detail of the trip so much richer.
Beyond his professional skills, he is an empathetic, respectful, and genuine person. By the end of the trip, he felt like more than a guide—he became a friend, and I’m so happy we’re still in touch and keeping each other updated after the journey.
For sure I will recommend him in your journey accross the beautiful parks in Tanzania!

Exceptional Safari Guide – An unforgettable experience
We were very nervous booking a safari direct with a company in Tanzania, however Get Together Adventures made the whole process very easy! They would respond to my emails and questions almost immediately and were incredibly helpful and reassuring.
Our safari guide Emmanuel was absolutely incredible. His knowledge of the wildlife and the landscapes of Tanzania were second to none. Every animal we encountered came with fascinating insights – from behaviour and conservation to how each species fits into the wider ecosystem. His passion for the country truly elevated the entire experience.
Beyond being incredibly informative, Emmanual spoke perfect English, he was also warm, patient and clearly dedicated to giving us the best possible experience. His ability to spot animals from impossible distances was unbelievable, and every sighting felt special because of the stories and knowledge he shared.
Not only was the guiding exceptional, but the vehicle itself made the safari even more enjoyable. It was immaculate, comfortable and perfectly equipped for long days in the bush including air conditioning which made the drives between parks so much more comfortable during the hot days. The pop-up roof gave us amazing visibility for wildlife viewing and the fridge was always stocked with ice-cold drinks. We had plenty of snacks, charging points for our devices, and even reliable Wi-Fi, which made it easy to capture and share moments throughout the day.
If you are planning a safari in Tanzania and want a guide who is knowledgeable, passionate and truly exceptional, I could recommend Get Together Adventures more highly, we certainly will book again!

What a spectacle!
What a spectacle to see animals in the wild! I am already raving about this amazing experience to all my friends back in Canada.
A special shoutout to our guide, Castro, who managed to show us the entire Big 5 in just about 2 hours of our game drive! He was incredibly proactive and truly has the eye of a hawk. Thanks to his sharp environmental awareness, we were even lucky enough to witness a cheetah hunting its prey—an absolute core memory. On top of his expertise, Castro is a funny guy with amazing driving skills that made the rugged terrain feel like a breeze.

Very accomodating, responsive and easy to work with
My wife and I planned a last minute safari since I was going to be in Joburg for work. Lynn was extremely responsive and accomodating for our requests. She found available options within our price range, helped coordinate the booking and got us all the necessary information. We would definitely use Safari.com for booking a safari adventure again!

A perfectly organized safari with an exceptionally dedicated driver – highly recommended!
Our two-day safari with Serengeti Savanna Adventures from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania was an all-around wonderful experience. From the airport pickup to our overnight stay at the lodge, everything ran smoothly. Thanks to the excellent organization, we did not have to worry about a thing and could simply relax and enjoy the trip.
If you have the opportunity to choose your driver: Ask for Jon! He is warm, funny, helpful, and incredibly patient. Right from the beginning, I asked him a thousand questions: What kind of hut is that? Why are people wearing those clothes? What is growing on that tree? Jon answered every question in detail and never made me feel as though I was asking too much. 😄
He was also immediately there for us in a difficult situation: When my boyfriend suddenly suffered from severe stomach problems, Jon accompanied him to a pharmacy and helped him find the right medication. On another occasion, we could only pay in cash but did not have any with us. Without hesitation, he stepped in and, trusting us completely, even treated us to a coffee. ❤️
Throughout the entire safari, I always felt safe with Jon. Some of the other safari vehicles drove very wildly and quickly, but Jon placed great importance on making sure we arrived safely. At the same time, he did everything he could to show us as many animals as possible. And he succeeded: We saw every animal we had hoped to see except a rhino!
What made the experience especially wonderful, however, was not only observing the animals but also spending time with Jon. We could laugh with him, stay curious, and share our impressions. The two days with him were simply fantastic.
Our conclusion: Serengeti Savanna Adventures is excellently organized, and Jon makes the safari an unforgettable experience through his patience, helpfulness, and great sense of humor. We would go on safari with him again at any time and recommend him without reservation! 🐘🦁

Outstanding Safari with Meru Slopes!
I highly recommend booking with Meru Slopes Safaris. From start to finish, the service, reliability, and value for money for a mid-range safari were exceptional.
Planning with Gift Tembo was seamless. Communication was quick and easy via both email and WhatsApp, which was great! His flexibility was paramount to our trip; even after flight changes and schedule adjustments, he adjusted our itinerary effortlessly and without complaint, including when I wanted to add a birding adventure directly from the airport at 8am!
Our guide, Ombeni, made the tour itself unforgettable. As avid birdwatchers and wildlife lovers, we greatly appreciated his patience and deep knowledge, whether stopping to check if a bird was an eagle or a vulture, or tracking wildlife. His patience paid off when he positioned us in a prime spot for a Great Migration river crossing. He also found us a male lion having a water buffalo breakfast near our lodge, a kill the lionesses had made the night before right outside.
Every accommodation was lovely, comfortable, and a fantastic value. Meru Slopes delivered a trip that exceeded our highest expectations!

A wonderful and stress-free family trip with Dagiztravel
We had a short family trip to Uganda planned and reached out to Dagiztravel to help us organise everything. Travelling with a toddler and a baby can be quite a challenge, so having someone we could trust to take care of the practical details made such a big difference.
From accommodation and itinerary planning to transportation, Dagiztravel was there to help us throughout the trip. They took the time to understand what would work best for our family and helped us choose comfortable and family-friendly accommodation.
One thing we especially appreciated was having a professional driver with us throughout our stay. Our driver, Christopher, was very patient, careful, and helpful throughout the trip. We always felt well taken care of, and he was very understanding of our needs as a family travelling with two small children. Our baby even had a car seat provided, which gave us extra peace of mind and made travelling much easier.
What we appreciated most was how smooth and worry-free the whole experience felt. We could focus on enjoying our time together as a family instead of worrying about transport, accommodation, or how to organise each day.

A value for money experience.
My emperors with Axis Africa was very good. Our guide, Robert, was knowledgeable about the animals we saw and I learned a lot. He was friendly and had a good sense of humour, bringing levity to various moments. We saw all of the big five and the vehicles was positioned for optimum viewing. I highly recommend this tour and Robert as a guide.

Richard was amazing with us. A very attentive and cheerful person, always hoping that everything and everyone is comfortable. With 17 years of Masai Mara touring experience, he knows the park like it's home. He promised us to see the big 5 and we saw them. Really grateful for everything. Thank you!
