Unforgettable experience, perfect organization!
5/5

From the beginning till the end, everything was perfect. Thanks to our guide Kalebi the safari was a once in a lifetime experience. We saw all the big animals and were surprised that there were so many small animals (birds, butterfly's). The accommodation was super, especially the stay in the Serengeti with Kenzan. In the middle of nature with the zebra grazing around our tent and the elephant nearby. We will never forget!

Tallest mountain in the world, exotic zanzibar, Crater of Ngorongoro and great migration in the Serengeti. What else?

Camping in Serengeti
5/5

Matthew took a small group of us on safari and camping in the Serengeti...it was awesome, one of the best trips I have ever done. Matthew was very professional, and helped us organize the trip at the very last minute (hours before hand actually). He was super accommodating and knowledgeable during the trip. In a separate incident just before the trip my passport and credit cards had been stolen in Arusha town-Matthew's colleague stayed behind to help with legal matters for me at the police station while I went on the safari. He took care of all of the logistics and updated me on progress of recovering my belongings...Matthew still took me along even though my cash for the safari had been stolen. He stayed cool and calm the entire time while ensuring we were enjoying ourselves. I cannot recommend Wild Roots and Matthew's team any more highly-it was an incredible experience!!

Organised and enjoyable
5/5

We did a one night gorilla trek in Bwindi National Park. Everything was very smooth, from the booking to the collection at the airport till the drop off. Beautiful hotel (actually the budget option= Bakiga) which was also run for the benefit of the local community. Guide (Chris) was a really nice guy, very relaxed but highly efficient and knew the area well having working with the gorillas for many years. Would recommend.

perfect service, great team, a lot of fun.
5/5

We had a driver and a cook taking care of us and we became friends
we were a group of three plus driver and cook. The food was excelent, every day fresh and cooked with fantasy including personal wishes, e.g once we made a cactus salad with wild cactus-leaves.
The team was great. We saw all the big 5 plus hunting cheetahs thanks to the experience and flexibility of the driver.
I would love to repeat an experince like we did and can only recomend this trip, now that everybody is afraid of Ebola which is 5.648,1 km away (distance between Freetown, Sierra Leone and Nairobi, Kenya) and there is few tourism but all the warmth of the Kenyan "Hakuna Matata" and Caribu (="welcome").

The Safari Source was a very professional, serviceminded and knowlegdeable operator.
5/5

Zimbabwe and Hwange was a great experience with very friendly people and not too many tourists. The Safari Source tailored a wonderful safari for us based on our needs and preferences. We had a very good dialogue and follow-up before, under and after the safari. The lodges and camps were very comfortable and the staff was very nice and professional. The guides were absolutely world class. We came very close to the animals and saw many different mammals and birds. We warmly recommend Zimbabwe and The Safari Source.

Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

Regional tours proved to be a valuable resource throughout the entire process of booking this trip and providing educational information about what to do in Tanzania. The service was excellent and the tour/trip they created lead to our most favorite trip to date. Our drivers and tours guys were always on time and friendly. The experience we loved best on this trip was the safari between the ngorongoro crater and the Serengeti. If you are looking to do a similar tour here are some recommendations on places to stay. Before traveling on the Safari we stayed at the Zawadi House which gives us exceptional service the the accommodations were top notch. The best place to stay when you get to the crate is the Serena Lodge which is 7,548 feet above sea level at the rim of the crater! The views are incredible and the hotel was beautiful.
Our tour guide Ewi made our amazing sight seeing experience even more spectacular. He made sure that we got to see all the animals we wanted to see and he genuinely cared about our experience. We could have not asked for a better guide to spend the long days with and we thank him for all the education and contributing to our greatest experience in life.

If your looking to book a Safari trip I would highly recommend the staff at Regional tours and when we go back to Africa we'll be sure to utilize their services.
