It was an amazing experience!
I booked the Golden Monkeys Trekking day trip from Kigali with Kyooma Gorilla Safaris. Their team was very efficient and communicated well the days before the trip. Eden, my driver, showed up on time and drove me to this day activity. I enjoyed our conversations and he made sure I was having a good time. Id recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Kigali. The golden monkeys were amazing! Whenever I visit Uganda, I know I will be contacting this company again!

He was professional, available, thorough, responsive, and went the extra mile.
Every experience I had with Golden Rwanda was top notch. This trip went beyond my expectations. The guides were excellent and went above and beyond to make sure that we experienced everything that we wanted to, including the chimpanzee trek, gorilla trek and the safaris where we saw 20-25 species of animals.

Mesmerizing
Mikumi National Park is an absolutely incredible destination and one of the highlights of my trip to Tanzania. The wildlife was beyond anything I imagined. We saw so many amazing animals in their natural habitat, and every sighting was fascinating. Watching elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and so many other animals roaming freely was both breathtaking and unforgettable.
The scenery throughout the park is stunning, with beautiful open plains and an atmosphere that makes you feel completely immersed in nature. Every moment felt like a new adventure, and there was never a dull second.
A special thank you to our guide, Noah, whose knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable. As someone who knows the story of Noah in the Bible, I couldn’t help but smile—it felt like such a fitting name for someone who spends his days surrounded by incredible animals! His passion for wildlife truly enhanced our visit.
I can’t recommend Mikumi National Park enough. If you love nature and wildlife, this is a destination you absolutely shouldn’t miss. It was an unforgettable experience that I’ll treasure forever. 🦁🐘🦒🌿

Review about Kruger National Park by Alexander (Lex) Taylor
A 3 day walking safari with Africa-on Foot in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, a Big 5 game reserve in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. It sits within the Greater Kruger….
Walking up to 15km a day, with 2 guides.

Great
We had an amazing 2-day private safari. We went to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Personally, I found the crater to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. You spend a lot of time traveling, so keep that in mind. After 2 days, we were definitely ready to relax by the pool at our hotel in Zanzibar.

The best alternative - Safari on foot.
A 3 day walking safari with Africa-on Foot in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, a Big 5 game reserve in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. It sits within the Greater Kruger….
Walking up to 15km a day, with 2 guides, carrying .404 rifles as a last form of defence….. The guns are an absolute last resort, never needed by either and not on our trip…. But the adrenaline rush of not knowing what you will see next or in what context cannot be captured in a photograph. Amongst the many Impala, Zebra and other prey animals, we were also up close and personal with White Rhino, Elephant and on our last day a beautiful male Leopard. He was more scared of us than we of him…. When he finally woke up! Other highlights, the bird life was incredible and our Guides knowledge of the Flora and Fauna gave us time to stop along the way and understand how people have lived with the land for centuries.

Attentive and efficient planner
We had an amazing experience with this safari company. Lucy, our tour operator, was honestly amazing from the beginning. She helped us with all our requirements and was so patient with all the changes we kept making to our plans. She was always quick to reply, very attentive, and made the whole booking process really easy.
Our safari guide, Hasan, was also great. He looked after us from the moment he picked us up until he dropped us off at the airport. He was patient with all our delays, always listened to our requests, and made sure we had the best experience possible. He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and did his best to show us everything we wanted to see.
A big thank you to both Lucy and Hasan for making our Kenya safari such a memorable trip. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Amazing Personalized Kenya Safari experience!
We had constraints on dates we could travel, and we knew June would be early for the Migration, so I was taming my expectations. The tour with Steve from Landmark Expeditions delivered everything, over and above! Steve worked hard to navigate the bush to ensure we saw all the animals. Lions? Two dozen! Cheetahs? Absolutely! Leopards? Check! Elephants, hippos, hyenas, wildebeast, zebra, antelope, giraffes, rhinos, baboons, monkeys, and even the special animals only in Samburu like the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffes, Somali ostriches, oryx, and gerenuk!
Steve knows how to create a scene, positioning his safari truck in just the right place to make your photos take most advantage of the lighting.
Our accomodations over the 10 days varied between resort hotel rooms and "glamping" tents, all of which were very comfortable, safe, clean and had individual showers and bathrooms. Food was excellent everywhere with many options, good for the whole family.
Overall, this was an amazing experience I can highly recommend to anyone looking for a great visit to Kenya!

Outstanding!
I will review Viva Safaris and Tremisana Lodge together. To quote Smiley (Viva Guide), WOW! Besides seeing all the animals in the setting in which God intended, the guides really made all the difference to us. They were funny, accommodating, professional, and soooo knowledgeable about the animals and the plants in the area. We learned quite a bit about what would kill or heal us. : ) The ladies that cooked for us were so nice and friendly. The food was delicious and there was always plenty to eat. The accommodations are not considered 5 star, but we didn't plan to spend several days in the bush in lush accommodations. It was clean, well maintained, daily cleaning service, nice pool area (even though a tad chilly when we were there). You spend very little time in your room. Wi-fi is currently only available in the Lapa (dining area). But again, we all need to unplug when you are in Africa. I wouldn't plan on working any at all while there. We felt safe at Tremisana because there is a tall electric fence completely around it. There are monkeys everywhere at the lodge which keeps things interesting. They make for some interesting hi-jinks. Just be sure and keep the door to your room closed. We had no complaints with our stay. So much so that we are going back in 2027. We have had people ask us why we aren't going to a different area. When you have had the experience we had this year, why would we? Special thanks to Smiley, V, Andy and Raymond.
