We embarked on an 8-day safari with Benson Safari – a trip that couldn't have been more adventurous, exciting, or diverse.
The tour took us to some of Tanzania's most breathtaking regions: Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti, Lake Eyasi, and Lake Manyara. Each stop captivated us with unique landscapes and unforgettable experiences.
We were incredibly fortunate to see the Big Five, cheetahs, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra. Observing the animals in such diverse landscapes was an incredibly impressive and unique experience.
Another highlight of our safari was undoubtedly visiting two tribes: the Hadzabe and the Datoga. Accompanied by a very friendly and experienced guide, we learned about their different ways of life. We went hunting with the Hadzabe hunters and witnessed how they prepare their game. With the Datoga tribe, we were amazed to see how arrowheads are made from simple nails and how maize flour is produced in their traditional mud huts. The warm hospitality and infectious joy of life we experienced with both tribes were particularly touching. We will always cherish these memories.
The organization of the trip was outstanding. A special thank you goes to Dolphine, who planned the safari with great care, professionalism, and attention to detail. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt perfectly looked after from the very beginning. The lodges and tented lodges she selected for us were wonderful – with breathtaking views, excellent food, and incredibly friendly staff. Our expectations were more than exceeded – everything was perfect from the outset.
We also met Dolphine personally at the end of the safari. She visited us in Arusha upon our departure to ensure that our onward journey to Zanzibar went smoothly and that we left Tanzania with big smiles. In addition, she organized a transfer for us in Zanzibar and promised that we could contact her anytime should we need her help on the island – truly exceptional service.

Last but not least: What would a safari be without a good guide? We were incredibly lucky to have Francis with us. He was always friendly, cheerful, patient, and excellent at tracking animals. Right from the start, he taught us some Swahili words, which we happily used when meeting locals. I would also like to mention his excellent driving skills, which he used to get us safely to the lodges on our game drives, even on bumpy and sometimes very muddy tracks. Francis's tireless dedication to meeting our needs played a major role in making this safari unforgettable.
This safari with Benson Safari exceeded our expectations in every way.

Fantastic, very well organised safari
This safari experience was surreal! It was well organised regarding the transport, overnight stay and the general safari experience. The communication from the company was fantastic through-out. We really enjoyed the safari itself, we managed to see the big 5 baring in mind the animals are extremely hard to spot but the drivers are very knowledgeable and well-experienced, they can spot them from a mile off! There is a lot of travelling involved (including a 5 hour journey back to Kilimanjaro airport following the tour for us) but it was well worth it. We looked into the travel-costs, entrance fees and the overnight lodge costs etc after the trip and overall the money we spent was 100% worthwhile. Thank you Kilipath safari's for the trip of a lifetime!

It was a fantastic trip. Ken was a great driver. He went out of his way consistently to make sure we were comfortable and captured some rare moments. He was also punctual which was great 👌🏾
The accomodation was beautiful! We did not expect to be the only guests present but we were and that was a nice surprise. The staff were so lovely and attentive. The view was beautiful. The food was great! Honestly 10/10. I genuinely don’t have anything bad to say.
Our first trip to the Mara was better than I could’ve expected. And most importantly mum had such a great time 😊
We’ve agreed that we need to go back and take the whole clan with us next time.
