Amazing safari in beautiful Kenya
We had an amazing time on our safari in Kenya. We visited Amboseli, Tsavo West and East and a Maasai village. The tourguides were great and they looked after us. We saw many great animals and beautiful nature.
Raphael from Eta Adventure Safaris did everything to make our safari perfect. He always answered all our many questions.

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Luwai Safari, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly!
When I first started looking for a safari company on SafariBookings.com, I mainly focused on the number of reviews and the overall ratings. I contacted 4–5 different companies, and Luwai was the first to get back to me via WhatsApp. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent. They took all of our wishes seriously and completely customized the itinerary around what we wanted.
One example was our request to fly directly from the Serengeti to Zanzibar rather than spending an entire day driving back to Arusha just to catch our flight. Luwai made it work seamlessly. In the end, it wasn’t just the very competitive price that convinced us, but especially the personal communication and the willingness to tailor everything to our needs.
I have to admit that sending a significant amount of money outside Europe, without the same insurance and consumer protections I’m used to, initially made me a little nervous. Since Luwai had fewer reviews than some of the larger safari companies, I was wondering whether it might be worth paying a premium simply for the reassurance of booking with a bigger and more established operator.
Luwai completely put those concerns to rest. They provided us with all the relevant legal documentation, including tax registration, bank details and confirmations, tourist licences, and other documents. This gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind.
And looking back after the trip, I’m so happy that we chose the smaller company. It was honestly one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had.
A huge part of that is because you travel with Silas, the owner of Luwai, rather than simply being assigned a hired driver. You can genuinely feel how much he cares about his guests and how much passion he puts into his work. He did everything possible to make sure we had the best experience. Silas is extremely well-mannered, humble and friendly, and he has an incredible knowledge of wildlife and nature.
He also truly goes the extra mile — quite literally!
On our last day, I accidentally left my mobile phone in one of the tents. We had already boarded our flight to Zanzibar when I realized it was missing. Silas went back to retrieve it, arranged for it to be handed to a local pilot, and somehow managed to have it flown to us in Zanzibar on the very same day — completely free of charge. That level of personal service really says everything about the kind of person he is.
Throughout the entire safari, Silas listened carefully to what we wanted while also making valuable suggestions about how to structure our days and get the most out of our time. The combination of his knowledge, flexibility, personal attention and genuine passion made the trip truly special.
For us, choosing Luwai and Silas over one of the larger companies was absolutely the right decision. If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, I would wholeheartedly recommend giving this smaller, owner-operated company a chance. You get something that is difficult for a large tour operator to replicate: a genuinely personal experience with someone who cares deeply about making your trip unforgettable.
We sincerely hope Silas achieves his dream of opening his own tented camp in the Serengeti soon. We would be absolutely delighted to come back and celebrate with him when he does!

Everything was perfect
We did our one day tour with Jafari and Shabani, and It was just perfect. From the arrival in the small plane to the safari experience itself, we really enjoyed our day. We saw hippos, lions, zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, ñus, kudu, Pumba, elephants... It was really good

Good value pick
We are a group of 4 men who joined the 6days 5 nights safari tour in Jul 2026. It is a private tour. The journey is safe and comfortable. Our driver Kelvin is amazing and friendly. We saw all the big 5 and ugly 5 in the safari.

-We had 3 exciting days of wildlife safaris in Tanzania. The tour was planned perfectly for us—not too much, not too little. Across the three parks—Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro National Park—we saw a huge number of animals, right from the comfort of our Jeep. Three parks, three completely different types of vegetation. Our guide, Justi, has an eagle eye and spotted the animals long before we did. He shared a lot of information about the animals' habits, and we also learned a great deal about the country and its people. He has a real knack for knowing just how much information is right for you. We really enjoyed inviting him to join us for dinner and a beer after the day's activities. Thank you so much, Justi; we will remember you fondly. 🥰 The Hhando Coffee Lodge was exceptionally beautiful, situated at an altitude of about 1,600 meters. Definitely bring a light fleece jacket along. The staff there are very helpful, and the food is prepared using fresh ingredients. Please have a small tip ready; they really appreciate it. If you don't finish your packed lunches, please—please—give the leftovers to the children by the roadside; they wait for you there on the way back to the lodge. Perfect organized
Excellent communication, as soon their were questions they answered immediately, our guide Eliatosha Nicardo provided for everything we needed and made sure we are always satisfied, he knew so much about the jungle, the animals and the hole ecosystem in the forest that you were able to listen to him and his story’s for hours. His English was very good and he also helped a lot as translater for people which couldn’t talk as good as he did. I would 100% recommend him and should always go with him again.

Good communication, no problems with money transfer, good guide, good organization of the tour
It was a very good experience to see Schimpanse so near in wildlife. Already the hike in the forest is amazing. And even the boat trip over Tanganjika lake is an experience.
Everything was very well organized.
Tented camp was nice, food was excellent and our guide Elitosha was so helpful!!!

Something went wrong
We used this operator before and everything went well, but when we decided to organise Safari again, we paid in advance for a safari that never took place.
We have been waiting more than a year for a full refund. Most of the money was returned, but not all of it. The remaining balance is still unpaid.
Cannot recommend.

Amazing and reliable service
Verity from Uyaphi did an amazing job listening to our requirements for our holiday in South Africa (she was the only agent who offered to so a call with us). We already had a rough idea of what we wanted to do and see and Verity helped us fine tune it. Her suggestions were spot on and the hotel, car and transfer bookings were reliable. Having her on the ground gave us peace of mind on our first trip to South Africa as she was responsive to our questions while we were here. She’s given us the most amazing holiday in this beautiful country.
