Our family of 4 had a great time, well structured safaris and good communication
We are a family of 4 with a 4-year old and 11-year old and it was an early start from our hotel, but the pick up was bang on time. The driver was courteous and safe at all times with no crazy overtaking on the way there and back. Our safari was great with some fantastic close up lion encounters and our driver tried hard to locate as many different animals for us to see. His knowledge was good and even spotted a black adder snake and rare birds. The accommodation and food at the hotel lodge was very good with a varied choice (drinks were a little expensive). If we go again it will be with Netherken.

Review about Kenya by Lynn
If you are travelling to Africa for the first time and want to see as much of the wildlife as possible then Kenya is the place to go.

Very organized in the schedule, was able to experience the native culture of Kenya
The hotel was just what we expected, a very comfortable stay. A little discomfortable in the ride, but the lion was worth the ride .

knowlegeable Local operator
We googled for a safari operator in Northern Tanzania, and found bookings Tanzania safaris, sent our inquiry and got timely response. The owner, Wilbert Makunja, seemed to be sharp and full of knowledge; got our quote within hours for a short trip to the Serengeti. We had no knowledge of other interesting parks but when we received our quote it was nicely detailed -mentioned other parks that we hardly knew- Tarangire, Manyara and Ngorongoro. Although our plan was to tour Serengeti (five days) and do a U-turn to Ireland, given reasonable price (if we got one!). Price was reasonable, we were amazed that we could do more within five days, We travelled as family (couple and a 12yr daughter). Very interesting trip, great welcome from the time we landed Kilimanjaro Airport, received by Wilbert and a driver, taken to our hotel.Tanzania is a great country, very smiling people! We enjoyed the wildlife (plentiful of it), Maasai tour, crater and our highlight- The Serengeti (the open zoo). Can't finish without mentioning our driver- Hakim, friendly and polite.

Good experience!
My wife and I went on a safari to Lake Nakuru (1 day) and Masai Mara (2 nights) in September 2016 during the Eid break in Dubai and it was simply amazing.
We were welcomed in Nairobi by Aruni, our guide/driver, who stayed with us the whole time. Aruni was very helpful in all situations, and we got to know the region, its people and its fauna quite well thanks to his explanations, stories and jokes. Ask for him if you were to book with Karibu.
Few points we were actually a bit disappointed about Karibu:
- Robert told us before the trip that we would be able to do a late game drive on the 1st evening we went to Masai Mara as well as 2 full days game drive the next days and finally a last early morning game drive on our last day before returning to Nairobi. However, this was not achievable and we only did the two full days game drive. Not that we wanted to do more, but I feel like the guys based in Nairobi overestimate their capacities and what they can deliver.
- Robert also gave us the names of the hotels where we were supposed to sleep but once in Kenya, we slept in different ones.
- Finally, Robert had confirmed to us before our trip that we would be provided with binoculars but it was not the case, which you can imagine is very disappointing especially when you can see rhinos about 500m from your car (and you can't get closer because the road stops) and you don't have binoculars to observe them.
Apart from those three points above, the trip went very well and Aruni was an amazing guide/driver.

We had a great safaritrip, but there some points to improve
The communicatie before we came to Tanzania was good. Paying the bill with their payment system is costly
(10%). You better pay with your own bankaccount.
We did the trip with basic camp. It was very nice to camp in the national parcs, and Fanakacamping was good. Multiways didin't have good chairs compared with other company"s. Also the tents smells stale. Multiways must improve this points.
The Management of Serengetiparc en Gnorognoro crater didin't clean there buidings on the campings very well. It was very dirty. We abhors that. This problem must be solved by the Management of the Serengeti and Gnorognoro and all the safaricompany's from Arusha must tell this to the management. That is the only way to achieve clean buildings.
But the guide of Multiways -safari was our best man. We had the best places to watch the animals. We have seen a lot. We had had a great safari. Also the food was good.

Chitake
Went to Chitake, Zimbabwe with Natureways sharing their temporary camp with another group who had their own guide with vehicle. We therefore had the sole use of Natureways vehicle and guide who they supplied at a much lower price than if we had gone with our own guide and Andy the Natureways guide was excellent.
The camp staff were always helpful and friendly and a credit to the company, the meals were good and the drinks were nice and cold which is much needed in the heat at Chitake. The only failing was the quality of the tent whose zips were always jamming and breaking, not good when you are trying to get in in the dark so they need to upgrade or repair the zips.
Overall though thoroghly enjoyed our trip to Chitake with Natureways and would recommend them to anyone thinking of going there.
