Great Safari
4/5

We've had a great safari with Hyrax. Roselyne was quick in here response and is trustworthy. Dan was our driver, we had lots of fun with him. We found him a very pleasant personality, always doing his best to make it the best day. The only problem we've faced was that Roselyne that the start date was misunderstood. The guide was in our hotel, two days early. This problem seemed solved professional. All hotels were rebooked, however the trainticket was not rebooked. That was a bit of a pity, since we lost a day due to this incident. I would recommend to request a solid personalized planning, with overview of dates, hotels. If this was organized by Hyrax, that could have prevented this mistake from happening. However the trip was great, so all 'problems' are relative!!

Katella Safaris team made a good impression on me. From building an engaging itinerary to preparing me for the trip it was professional and with a personal touch. The trips were a revelation into the unique, lash, and rich wildlife, great sights and interactions with the people in Uganda and Rwanda. The experience was surely satisfying and fun. Thank you Katella Safaris.

Peter is knowledgeable and very punctual
4/5

It was really good experience of Masai mara, Nakuru, ol Pejeta including night Safari. We saw big 5 at all places except Nakuru. We were the only family who could see lioness family at a zebra kill in Nakuru other cars couldn't see that. Peter helped us with a lot of effort. Overall experience was awesome.

The tour operator could have been much more professional
4/5

The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because on the day of arrival at i camp, the toilet was clogged and there was no water all afternoon. The next day there were problems with the electricity supply. There was no electricity for several hours and the door lock did not work. Problems in the entire camping area there are. The whole day Safari was wonderful. Michael was our guide. He was very professional, he showed us everything and did everything to make everyone satisfied. The first 2 days were unforgettable, but instead of the last day (bushman walk), I think it's one more day Safari would be better. Overall, I am satisfied.

Good
4/5

The trip was comfortable, the organization of the trip was good. I couldn't look at the lions and cheetahs, stayed watching the leopard. We managed to see all the other animals.

We traveled Ngorogoro and Serengeti by Land Cruiser, and had a marvelous time viewing the wildlife. Great guide. Stunning land, amazing spirit of these animals. We felt safe and lucky to be where we were, at all times.

Amazing - A memorable life time experience
4/5

We did the 6 day tour through Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Ambosili.
We were 4 adults and 5-year-old kid and we took a private tour, it was amazing!! We also added hot air balloon experience over Masai Mara for viewing migration. It included a brunch on the bush which was a surprise for us. It was fun and we enjoyed with our caption and meeting other people. We were so lucky, that we could see the BIG 5 in the early days of our trip and saw other animals and birds that we wanted to see. Our guide Teddy was a knowledgeable, brilliant and friendly person who explained the behaviour and facts of each animal that he spotted to us, and he answered all our questions. He answered patiently to my 5-year-old nephew who loves animals.
The communication with Bluerange Connect safari was easy and efficient through WhatsApp. The itinerary was planned properly, and it modified based on our needs. Our questions and doubts were answered promptly even days before the trip started. Overall, the safari went smoothly and it was the best experience that we had so far. Food and accommodation were fair enough for the budget. The tour was just amazing and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Bluerange Connect safari.

Once in a lifetime experience of African wilderness
4/5

This was my first safari experience. Overall, it was an incredible experience. We saw so many beautiful animals in their wild and breathtaking habitat, ate plenty of authentic food in a communal canteen, slept well in comfortable tents (at Lenchada Tourist Camp), enjoyed hot showers and were treated well by our hosts and driver/guide Joshua.

The only slight negative was that it is a long time in a vehicle. Our full day meant spending 10 hours in the car and even though we could stand up to look out the roof of the vehicle and had two quick pit stops, this felt like a bit too long and meant we decided not to go on the game drive on the final day as we already had the 5 hour drive back to Nairobi to sit still through. This is not a criticism of Jocky Tours, just the nature of this type of safari trip.

Our guide was good at explaining about some of the things we were seeing, but I would have liked him to be a bit more forthcoming. There was also some confusion about whether lunch was included on the final day and moments where Joshua had to work out how to please different people in the same vehicle having paid for different packages that included different hours game drives/different activities. This created a few awkward moments.

Other things to enjoy on this trip are meeting other people in your vehicle (there were 8 of us though not all staying at the same camp), others at camp and evenings round the fire with Maasi men.

Overall, would thoroughly recommend.
