Extremely knowledgable and well informed, flexible, accommodating and good fun
I went on several safaris and trekking trips during my stay in Uganda and I was not disappointed. There was a variety of different trips to choose from and full itineraries which were tailored made to my needs to make the most of my time in Uganda. The trips were good value for money particularly if you are on a tight budget. The tour guide certainly made sure I got the most from the safari's seeing the animals up close with early morning and evening game drives. There was a rich variety and abundance of animals including the big five. The accommodation was simple and authentic set in parks with the wildlife on your door step. I would certainly recommend trekking with the Silverback Gorillas, a truly amazing experience and one which I will never forget. Overall a great trip and a wonderful experience, I felt part of the community seeing the real Uganda. Thanks !

Amazing!
For me, my trip to the wild, was one of the most remarkable experiences I have ever had. It is sometimes hard to put into words just how it made me feel. I really had absolutely no idea what to expect but was excited at the prospect of visiting places that were vastly different to anywhere I had ever been, i felt an overwhelming sense of excitement.

Great Kenya and Tanzania Safari experience with Ways of Africa!
We had the best Safari experience with Ways of Africa! We went to both Kenya and Tanzania and Paul arranged for everything including accommodating our sudden change of plans and making sure we were comfortable from the time we landed to the time we left Kenya.
We visited Amboseli National Park in Kenya staying at Kibo Safari Camp and Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park and Lake Manyara in Tanzania. Along the way we stayed in some of the most beautiful Lodges and Resorts like Kibo, Tarangire Sopa Lodge, Ngorongoro Serena, Serengeti Serena and Lake Manyara Serena. The stay, travel in Land Cruiser, the very helpful and ever vigilant guides and food was all very good and enjoyable. Highly recommend Ways of Africa for your Kenya and Tanzania tours!

Amazing Experience
Our trip with Savannah Woods Safaris? Wonderful! We had a unique experience, enjoyed learning about the areas we visited and the many different animals we saw. Dennis, our driver and guide, who took the at times tricky roads with ease and cool, also kept us safe when the weather was a little inclement. He was great! Since it was our 25th wedding anniversary, the staff at the Sopa Lodge and Lake Nakuru Lodge made it very special for us! We felt well taken care of by Lucy and her team who really went the extra mile - Asante sana!

Amazing!
Thank you to Kalahari Tours and Opi for an amazing Chobe adventure. Opi is knowledgeable about all animals and birds and also knows all the right lighting and can turn the boat and the Land Cruiser to get the best pictures and also selfies! Everyone was helpful and the company seems very responsible. What an amazing day that our family will never forget.

Though i live in Africa, it was my first time exploring the natural beauty that lies hidden in the wild! It was the best experience in my entire native African life! Everyone needs to see Africa!

Clients happiness and comfort was their priority.
I am so impressed by the quality of service I received from Tafara my guide. He was knowledgeable, fun, punctual, and communicated clearly. He genuinely enjoys his job and it was a pleasure to have had him as my guide. The company also is organized and again really focus on their clients having an extraordinary experience, thank you Archie for being so flexible with my late bookings. Highly recommend for single female traveling alone like me!

Careful consideration to find the right time and place
This is my first safari and I'm not experienced enough to make a comparison with other tour operators as I only have information from the internet. Therefore, I wrote my subjective experiences and opinions.
First of all, the vehicle, I thought that A/C would be necessary because it was rather hot during the day, but the feature of the traveling was such that we often traveled with the windows and roof open, so A/C did not seem to be a very important factor.
The vehicle gets dirty easily as almost travel on off-road and mud, water area, but the driver(guide) washed the vehicle daily, in and outside, so we always used a clean vehicle.
Secondly, the experience of the driver (guide) seems to be important. The ability to spot animals on game drives and drive on rough roads is very important. Most of the time they share information about the animals' spot, but sometimes on the road we were able to find and show us animals that other guides had passed by, or safely navigate muddy roads to save time, giving us more time to see the animals.
Thirdly, I felt that the driver(guide)'s sociability and speech was also important - too little or too much talk can make the traveling boring or exhausting, and my guide was very good at explaining things in context at right time and was very knowledgeable about the animals and terrain, answering questions quickly.
Fourth, the more expensive hotels(lodges) definitely offer better service and facilities. The distance to travel and the circumstance can also be factors to evaluate, but if you just look at the facilities and services, the more expensive the better.
Everything I mentioned above exceeded my expectations, especially Mr. Elias, who was my guide and driver.
Also, Mr. Joshua, the tour consultant of Africa Big Cat Safaris, made the trip even more memorable by welcoming and farewells on arrival and departure.
I highly recommend both of them if you are looking for a tour operator.
