Excellent Kilimanjaro climb and 4-day safari combo with Burigi Chato Safaris
I really enjoyed my Tanzania trip with Burigi Chato Safaris which included a Kilimanjaro climb via the scenic Lemosho route (6 days) and a 4-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater National Parks. The service was great throughout the trip, operator very responsive and flexible and open to customer requests/wishes. Everything worked as planned. The service during the tour was outstanding as well - guide (Gabriel), chef, and porters made the Kilimanjaro climb a wonderful experience and provided thorough advice/support. Our safari guide (Doni) was very experienced and allowed us plenty of time with the animals to take photos and observe. All accommodations were nice and as described. Airport pickup/drop-off on time and stress-free. I would book with Burigi Chato Safaris again and would recommend their tours to my family and friends.

Incredible people and country
We are a family of four (two almost adult kids) and it was our first visit to Tanzania. We first spent three days in Daressalam and visited the National museum and went to Slipway shopping center which is quite touristic but nevertheless a wonderful location next to the sea and worth a visit. What we really enjoyed is visiting the Village museum. Here you get an impression on how people traditionally life. It is a place with a lot of trees and green, we were also lucky to see very fine dance and theatre performances there. In any case don't miss a visit to the museums' restaurant - it is super!
The country is very lovely with huge national parks and wildlife. Through Safari Bookings we chose Smile with us tours for a five day safari to Mikumi National Park, Udzungwa Mountains and Nyerere National Park. These parks are not as popular as Serengeti, so for a lot of the time you are alone or just with very few other cars in the park. It was incredible well organized and people are friendly and helpful with nice accommodations and so tasty food.
After the safari we went to Zanzibar and spent 10 days there. We enjoyed very much to be in locally owned hotels and did do a lot of nice little trips on our own. It is not difficult to find a guide and driver who is showing you around. We did snorkeling, visited a spice farm, did go to different beaches and of course visited stone town, I recommend to spend at least three days for this beautiful and vibrant city.
Tanzania is a wonderful country doing a lot of things right. For example to ban plastic bags. They also do a great job with the national parks trying to preserve and protect nature. The country is save, it is easy to get around with English, as a tourist you feel very welcome. We loved it and I can recommend Tanzania 100%

Very nice nature With variable animals
My expections came true in 7 day safari. The nature is beautiful and there are so Many animals. The safari was great but this january has been rainy. The rain and 3 nights camping was rough combination the lodge accomodation was ok. It has been rainy mornings, usually afternoon is not raining. Serengeti and Ngorongoro was great with do Many animals. Serengeti paths were muddy and in very poor conditions. Zanzibar is ok maybe I waited too much. The accomodations are good and not cheap. The food has been below my expectations. Overcooking has been the main problem with fish, seafood and even lobster has been overcooked. The food is ok but it could be much better. Lets see if We are lucky in the next days. This experience is after 7 days safari, one day in Arusha and 3 days in Zanzibar. Topy tours Jackson and Benedict have been highlight persons is Tanzania,Arusha. People are happy here and I feel safe in TZ. Overall good experience except food. The best food We got zaka tribe place very close that coffee lessions place and Materuni waterfalls.

The best safari company in Tanzania! 100% recommended, don't miss it!
The communication with Arnold, Luis, and our guides Mike and Boni was excellent, always helpful and willing to do anything to ensure our comfort at every minute! They were attentive to us every second, even when we were at the hotel, they helped us with our Tanzanian chip, to change money and not all agencies take the time to satisfy our needs 100%! The price and quality was the best, especially for a private safari, in other companies it was much more expensive and they didn't even take the time to meet with us, we had 3 pre-safari meetings to agree on dates and planning our trips. days, always giving the option to change the itinerary if something did not seem to us, we found that excellent, they are very flexible, and always with a smile! Upon arriving in Africa, they picked us up at the airport, took us to our hotel and then gave us a tour of the city of Arusha, to learn about Tanzanian cultures, very tasty local food and beautiful museums! Another day we went to knowing how they harvested coffee, from when they planted it, until you drink it, we have met tribes, Hadzabe and Datoga, we have seen the big 5, always with the help of Mike, who gave everything so that we could get the best experience and the best shots! Everything was excellent, if you want to live the experience, I highly recommend it!

Nolle was dedicated, knowledgeable, and fun
Every part of the trip was well planned and executed smoothly! Our guide was dedicated to ensuring that the game drives were filled with a wonderful variety of wild life. Nolle was interested in and responsive to our interests and goals. He also included supplies so we had a private breakfast picnic one morning. We had an amazing adventure during our time in our guide’s care!

The best choice of my life!
Traveling with Bush and Forest was the best decision of my life!
I had the opportunity to go on a 20-day charitable trip during December and thanks to the Bush and Forest organization, it was an unforgettable experience.
Traveling with them means not only having the opportunity to visit beautiful places, go on safaris and see wonderful animals, learn about ancient cultures like the Maasai, but also give you the opportunity to have a positive impact on the communities that need it most. You will be able to help with so many projects, such as schooling, football, outreach and so much more, you don't have to be an expert, just put your heart into it. What makes traveling with Bush and Forest most special is that unlike many other trips you will get to experience everyday life together with the community, learn a lot about the culture and traditions, eat local food, learn a new language, and so much more. Raphael, the director of bush and forest, is a very helpful guy, he will host you in his hostel at a very affordable price, he will do everything to accommodate your requests and answer your doubts, also he will really manage to make you feel at home.
I recommend everyone to have this experience because you will go home with a full heart, with thousand stories to tell and with a new family waiting for you forever in Arusha.

Very helpful
It was very well organised. All food provided was excellent and there was plenty of it. There was so much to see. I think that an overnight stay in Kruger would have been beneficial so that we could see the wild life in the early morning as well. There was again so much to see and very little time when we were only there for the day. The tour guides were very informative. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is unfortunate that we were unable to walk outside of the reserve itself because they do not have a gun licence. The scenery and wild life were breathtaking.

To the top !
We had such a intense and beautiful experience, trekking with Spirit of Kilimanjaro.
After having read a lot of good comments on internet, we had quickly a brief meetup with William by videoconference from home and then multiple messages when we had questions.
From the payment (small deposit before and the rest directly in cash in Moshi) to the trek itself and friendly moments sharing with the entire team also when back in town, everythings was trustworthy (payments / tips were clear and discussed with tact and assertivity from both part) and absolutely enjoyable.
If William did not take part finally to the ascension, hiking with Tuliza and David was a pleasure for both of us,, respecting our own pace and being really supportive during the final ascent. It looked like hiking with friends (and you know how tricky it could be sometimes).
Porters and the entire staff did a marvellous job.
Even if it could appear rather unusual for us to be assisted so much, it helps the community and improve significantly the feassbility to reach the summit. No matter your physical condition and skills, the last day (night) legitimate itself the need of guidance.
We thank sincerely William and all the staff of Spirit, they do a great job.
Speaking with others travellers, who accomplished or not the ascent, it was worth to pay a little bit more (still much less than booking with a big operator) : warm sleeping bag etc.

Smooth Operator....in all the best ways!
Jartan professionally and effortlessly navigated our group throughout this adventure with poise, personality, and endless knowledge about our environment, its inhabitants, flora, and fauna. What impressed me most was his availability before and during our adventure. Before departing, he reached out by email and phone to make sure any and every possible question was answered. Upon arrival in Nairobi, he came to the airport to pick us up personally. Throughout our adventure together he was constantly checking in to make sure everything was perfect for each traveller.
Jartan and our drivers always knew exactly where to go to position us for the best game-viewing experiences and provide us with the most memorable safari experiences possible. Within five minutes of landing in the Maasai Mara, we had the good fortune to encounter three cheetah siblings lazing on a prominent rock immediately followed by a pair of lions surveying their terrain. The embarrassment of riches continued just 30 minutes later with a lone cheetah stalking an impala.....and that was just the beginning. During our entire time together Jartan and our drivers always were a step ahead positioning our vehicle ahead of impending encounters with elephants, leopards, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and many more animal and bird species up close. It was a photographic dream. Thank you for the tour of a lifetime which exceeded all of my expectations!
