Memorable Experience that Surpassed All Our Expectations
We were not expecting when we booked the safari to have experienced what we experienced in a 6 day time.
It all started with our pick-up in the Hostel and being taken to the center of Nairobi to meet our guide and van.
About our guide, we had the pleasure of having Peter guiding us through the journey. A knowledgeable, flexible, enthusiastic guide with quite the driving skills. We shared the van with 4 more people but had enough space for a comfortable trip to all the parks.
For Maasai Mara, we had the luck of seeing everything and more, much because of Peter's effort to avoid crowds and knows how to get around the area. Cheetahs, Lions, Rhinos, Leopards (3 in total). We stayed in a nearby tent camp, which was also a fantastic experience, thanks to the location and kindness of the staff.
For Lake Nakuru we had the chance of seeing more Rhinos, Lions, Leopard, and Hippos, among others.
For Amboseli, we stayed in an amazing private camp, Manjaro Tented Camp, a small and quiet camp, a first seat to the Kilimanjaro. Inside the park, we saw a large number of Elephants, among other animals. We also had the privilege of having clear skies to see the dimension of Kilimanjaro.
Finally, we were drop-off at our Hostel in Nairobi.
We have no negative comments to point to Karibu Safaris. We had, largely due to Peter, a one-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you for your service and kindness! We will recommend this tour for future travelers.

A local tour operator that helped us make an unforgettable trip
Me and a friend did a 6-day deluxe Tanzania safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara). The communication with Linus went effortlessly and he was always quick to respond. We also added a visit to the Masaai tribe (which lasted an hour or so). This was a nice add-on to learn about the the indigenious way of living. We spent the 1st night at a hotel in Arusha and the other days in lodges and tented camp. Everything was so well organized and wherever we went we were always welcomed with a smile. Tanzanian people in overall are really kind. Our safari trip was amazing and definitely a once in a lifetime experience. We have seen the migration crossing which was such a big highlight of my trip. Because of our guide's (Marick) experience and patience we were able to see so many wild creatures. Just like that we could already check off the big 5 on our 2nd day, with the black rhino as the last one, which was at the end of the day on our way to camp! We have witnessed some beautiful sunrises, one just from a hill not so far from our camp. The food, OMG, was so delicious. We did a bush lunch in the Serengeti which was amazing. And we have received a Shiri adventures T-shirt which is really cool! Props to Shiri adventures for organizing our unforgettable safari trip!

Very attentive customer service that customized our safari to our wishes and desires.
We were very pleased with the overall service, responsiveness and professionalism of Safari bookings. Through various emails, our tour operator listened to our wishes and was very flexible in working with us to customize our safari. We did a six-day, fly-back trip in Tanzania and saw amazing wildlife and several different locations--Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and the Central Serengeti. Our guide was simply awesome--informative, attentive and very professional. From A to Z, this was a class operation and I would highly recommend using them to our friends and family.

The very best of organised birding tours in Uganda!
We did a two week trip to Mbamba Swamp, Mburo, Mgahinga, Ruhija and Bohema (Bwindi NP), Kibale, Semliki National Parks.
Having travelled in about 12 countries in Africa over a period of 4 years and mostly independent I can
safely say that Dauda is a top ground agent or tour organiser to arrange any customised trip to your liking whatever you want to see
in Uganda. His skills are excellent. I have travelled to over 60 countries in the world and usually think that
tour organisers are way too expensive. Dauda made my third ever organised trip possible in 35 years of travelling.
And it was a great success. The price/quality is excellent.
He makes sure in every detail that you can have a better experience than you would expect.
He is very flexible and is continuously thinking of how to improve things while you are on track.
He is also a very safe driver and he makes sure his car is in good condition. Not even a flat tyre.
Through his wide network makes sure that no time is wasted and you get the best options for accommodation and the best local guides.
It is also important to mention that he uses a wonderful initiative in Uganda to participate women into guiding: UWB:
https://ugandawomenbirders.org/
You will go on track with some of the most skilful guides that you have ever met.
We had Abia Atukwatse with us for the whole duration of the trip.
She was extremely sharp and never at the end of a whole day birding from pre-dusk to post-dawn did she
seem to get less determined or concentrated to point out more birds or other animals.
She was among the best spotters of birds that I have ever met.
Even the local guides were talking about her "Eagle eyes". And her ID skills were way beyond ours.
Both Dauda and Abia were also very nice company and great characters. You will enjoy and appreciate their
company and sense of humour.
But we have heard of other excellent women guides so do not hesitate if you get another guide joining you.
Abia said that there are even 4 that she thinks are even better than she is. But I seriously doubt
that is even possible.
Locally you will have extra support of local guides as is the rule if you enter national parks.
These local guides are also very good.
Then they work together to adjust the fine details of the day planning and give suggestions on how to make the most of it.
Having been to Uganda before for me this trip was about certain specialities.
Dauda and Abia made very sure that our chances were optimal and we did not miss any of these specialities
and had near perfect views. These specialities included some of the most sought after and hard to find
birds of the whole of Africa.
Do not hesitate to contact Dauda if you think about a trip to Uganda.
He is simply the best you will get.
I will in time write a report on this trip on Cloudbirders.com
Thank you so much Dauda and Abia!!

Great service, awesome trip
When booking a safari trip in your home, in our case Germany, which is so far away from your actual destination, it may be hard to decide which of the many agencies you pair up with.
However, Shengena Team excited us right from the start by being the quickest in responding, the most flexible in customizing our journey and the most holistic answer to our expectations.
And that impression was even topped when finally arriving in Tanzania.
Our guide Godwin made clear that we don’t have to worry about anything while being in the country. All transfers, all trips, all meals already organized. He took us to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Arusha NP, before we headed to Zanzibar for relaxation.
It’s been a bless and we can absolutely recommend letting Shengena Adventures organize your travel.
Thank you for your great service, guys!

Incredible service and knowledgeable guide
We had a truly wonderful time on our 3-day safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Crater! Everything was seamless and comfortable. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and a joy to be with. We were in awe with how close we got to the animals and the stunning beauty of the landscape. Thank you so much to the Soul of Tanzania team for all of your support in planning the trip! We’re already talking about planning another safari for a longer period of time in the next few years.

Ozzie is a charismatic and friendly figure who always answered our query’s with passion and detail.
We had the pleasure being able to immerse ourselves into the Tanzanian safari experience thanks to our two guides: Ozzie and Immanuel, who never failed to amused us with their extensive knowledge on each animal and location. There was never an instance during our tour where I felt like I was not getting my moneys worth! Thank you Lion King Safaris for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing experience
Our trip with Suricata was amazing. Everything was good, all our guides were the best. We slept in beautiful lodges during the Safari, we never imagined such a thing. Our chef Tito's food was also very very tasty. The whole experience was the best of our lives so far. Also, we were supposed to be at the airport on the last day of the safari, everything was super organized and we arrived on time. If we go on safari again, it will surely be with the Suricata.

Professional, Excellent Company and People . Above and Beyond our Expectations
Booking a safari with no experience can be a daunting task. For us, Bryson at Safari Soles was expert at ensuring the booking process was as easy as possible and then once we arrived delivered a trip far beyond our wildest expectations with stunning lodges and a safari guide we could only dream of.
We did 7 days total with Safari Soles. One night on arrival in Arusha followed by a day trip to Tarangire and a stay in “Farm of Dreams” in Karatu, to break up the drive to the Serengeti. Then on to the Serengeti for two days and nights at Ang’ata tented lodge followed by a stay at Ang’ata’s sister lodge in Ngorongoro with our last safari day at Ngorongoro and a drive back to Arusha with a final night’s stay there before we left. We also opted for a private safari, so it was just the two of us in the car plus our driver (if you can afford it, this is definitely the way to go).
The accomodations were 5 star to us and completely outdid our expectations (look them up separately).
I can’t say enough about how professional Bryson was throughout every part of booking our trip. He answered every question exactly and in a timely fashion. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Bryson and his company. In truth, we selected Safari Soles due to Bryson’s responsiveness over other companies we enquired with (and the reviews, of course!)
On the day of our arrival to Kilimanjaro airport we were met and driven to our accommodation at Karibu Heritage hotel, which was basic, but served its purpose as a stop-gap in Arusha.
Our Safari then began as we were collected by our guide Simon at the hotel in our Safari Land Cruiser. A quick note here to say that the car was in excellent condition, had a charging plug at every seat for cameras and phones etc. as well as a fully stocked fridge, with wine, beer and water. We could see other people across the 5 day safari travelling with other companies that were not as lucky with many breakdowns and engines that struggled to start. There was none of that with our well maintained car and we really learned the value of this as Simon could turn off the engine at any point to allow us take still pictures without fear that the car wouldn’t restart.
The safari itself was incredible, we saw all the “Big 5” by day 3, plus many more. It’s well worth a visit to each of the three parks as each is so different and offers not only different landscapes, but also different concentrations of animals. If however you’re short on time, in our day trip to Tarangire we saw almost everything we came to see, but you can’t beat the Serengeti if you can make it there, but you need to give it two days at least as it’s so vast. If we had to leave one out, it would be Ngorongoro, but that’s not to say it wasn’t incredible too.
We can quite honestly say that the trip was made by our guide Simon Juma. There are no words for how amazing he was. Not only is he a wonderful person who we thoroughly enjoyed being with for our five days together, his knowledge of and passion for safari is second to none. He has truly fantastic English and an equally good sense of humour. He was great fun, but also patient and professional, always taking into account how we wanted the trip to go. He has the unbelievable skill of knowing animal behaviours better than they know it themselves! He anticipated every move, knowing when to wait at a sighting and when to move on. He proved this skill to us time and time again, as even when we were the last of 20 cars to come across something he would always position us so we would be in the very best position. Simon’s skills and knowledge gave us front row seats to everything, we felt that we had truly landed with someone special in having Simon as our guide. He was relentless in ensuring we saw everything we came to see and had the driving skills and knowledge of the parks and their back roads away from the big crowds to make it happen. Each day we shared a fantastic cooked lunch, not out of a cardboard box like many other tours we saw. We were really very well looked after. Simon became so much more than a guide and driver to us across our 5 days.
As far as we’re concerned you can’t go wrong booking with Safari Soles.
Bryson and Simon, thank you for a trip of a lifetime, we’ll be back soon!
