You can choose Jocky with your eyes closed !
We are glad we chose Jocky Tours for our safari in Kenya. We took the 7 days offer (with 4x4 Jeep) through Mara, Naivasha, Nakuru, quick view of Hell’s gate (the gorge being closed for now for safety reasons, even if other guides propose illegal tour : just so you’re aware that when Hell’s gate is part of the itinerary, you won’t get the full « Hell’s gate tour », at least not legally for now), and ended by the amazing Amboseli which worth the effort of the long distance ride ! Really our favorite…
Before the safari, Minneh from Jocky Tours answered very clearly all our questions, was transparent on the conditions and the price. We appreciated that, and wanted to choose a Kenyan company. We could see a very good organisation here.
During the safari, we were guided and well drived by James, accompanied by his apprentice, Josh. They were very nice, professional, thoughtful and good at finding the animals. They made sure we could see all of them. James knew a lot about the animals and the birds, he answered all of our questions. To improve, I would say that we would have loved to have more theorical explanations about the animals and the surrounding.
For example, we arrived at Nakuru where the lake overfloaded few years ago and destroyed part of the park. The animals there were clearly starving, sick and dying, overall the buffaloes : it was a sad show I have to say, really sad. Big problem but the authorities must be overwhelmed by the situation said James. But about this, we would like to be warned before, get explanations and not discover it entering in this desolation place. It would have been interesting to have the opportunity to speak to the park authorities, to ask what they are doing to protect the animals and prevent them to be sick, what do they do with the entry fees.
So, we would have loved more explanations (even about negative things) than the pure observation even if it was amazing ! But we understand seeing is the most important thing in safari for so many tourists !
For the accommodation during the safari, we kept the lodges proposed by Jocky, they were all nice except the food at the Lenchada (not great, but their tents and the staff were nice. )
To end this review and confirm that you can choose Jocky with your eyes closed : we had two unforeseen events independent of them (luggage delayed at the airport and a problem with our train at the end of the safari) and they really helped us even if they didn’t have to, showing that they will take care of you whatever happens and are really trustable.
We were so lucky to have them, and we made a lot of good memories (and photo!)

A beautiful experience
2021, my boyfriend and I chose to celebrate my birthday by touring Western Uganda specifically Bwindi impenetrable National Park and queen Elizabeth national park.
From the planning to the journey, perfect car speed, friendly tour guide (Robert), a perfect coordinator (Brian) who planned the small details, charging spots in the car that enabled us capture every beautiful moment. The journey was indeed beautiful, full of memories, laughters and joy! I surely had one of my favorite birthdays ❤️ #GiveThemYourMoney

Amazing experience!
Since the beginning our contact with Lenox was distinguished by his professionalism and quick response.
Jack was our professional guide tour and we can say 100% that he is much skilled for his job.
Maybe we were lucky but for sure Jack helped us spotting a lot of animals (even the most rare!)
Apart of the regular animals you might be looking for he has very good knowledge on birds and flora !!!

“Accommodating and Exceptional.”
My friends (6 of us) and I toured South Africa and visited Kruger National Park with a lot of help from Patrick of Mmilo Tours. He is an excellent organizer and went the extra mile to accommodate all of our requests. Our initial tour dates had to be changed due to Covid-19 but Patrick rearranged the entire trip at a very nominal service charge. He helped us with all the internal flight bookings, boarding etc. I was very pleased to meet him in person and thanked him for his excellent service. Would recommend Mmilo Tours to anyone planning to visit South Africa.
Henry Zeiler, our guide, is very knowledgeable and informative about facts not just pertaining to the safari but also about the past and present state of affairs of South Africa. He filled us in on a lot about the culture and heritage of the South African communities. He went the extra mile to make sure that we were at ease and able to accomplish our goals - and in my case, it was to get some good pictures of the wild animals. We were lucky to see four of the Big Five animals. Henry’s knowledge of the animals, their habitats, and behaviors is really good. He has a very keen eye and was able to spot a lot of animals for us. I/we enjoyed his company and would happily recommend him, as a guide, to anyone interested in getting a taste of this great experience. It was a happy ending for everyone. Be safe and God bless.

we engoyed graet safari twice with tony, once for 5 days end second for 6 day. evrything was more then perfect. sure recomended !!!!
The experience with Tony is a unique experience, Tony has A lot of experience and he is a very very professional guide. tony makes sure that your experience on the safari will be unforgettable. The camping conditions are very convenient, the food is great. Tony always makes sure the atmosphere during the safari will be great. We got the impression that Tony was much more professional than other instructors we met along the way by far.

Axis went above and beyond to accommodate the group. The safari was extremely well organised from start to finish and each tour operator ensured we found The Big 5 as well as other animals in the National Park. Excellent value for money and I would highly recommend Axis.

A Smooth, Friendly, Professional Operation
Out morning started with a timely pick up by Collins at our Livingstone Hotel. We were driven to the Kasane border post where we were handed over to our Botswana driver who escorted us through migration and onwards to the Chobe Marina Lodge. We started with the boat cruise that allows you get up really close to the animals on the shore (saw hippos, elephants, impala, crocodile). Following lunch at the lodge, we took a safari viewing vehicle into the Chobe National Park for more game viewing. At the end of the day, we are driven back to the Botswana border where Collins met us and drove us back to Livingstone.
Chobe game reserve is well worth visiting. The boat safari was a first for me, and I loved it.
Collins made this experience effortless. It is highly recommended.

Wonderful!
We did a 3-days Safari in Maasai Mara. We were lucky to have Sam as a guide who was very kind, enthousiaste and positive. The Safari was incredible, it’s such a wonderful experience.
