The guide is an important role in your experience
My first contact with Lenchada was with Alex, he was very great to deal with very attentive and made sure all my needs were met. The driver that will pick you up from hotel was also very nice and hospitable.
On the start day of my safari I was assigned a guide in a group joining safari as I was a solo traveler. They assigned me to Richard, he was the best guide I could ask for on safari. He was sharing information along the road about Nairobi, about the animals and most importantly he made sure everyone saw their favorite animal and complete the checklist of viewing the big five.
Unfortunately on my 4th day of safari they split me from my group and guide as I had booked another route to Amboseli for my last 2 days to complete the 6 days.
I was assigned a guide Izachiel, worst guide ever! I wish I ended my safari on day 4 with Richard.
I did not feel safe with him on the 5 hours drive to amboseli at all. We almost crashed 2 times, first time he took a break so abrubt that he had to turn of the land cruiser or for safety the cruiser turned off by itself not sure. The second time it was a bit dark and we almost crashed in some crossing cows.
When I arrived at my lodge also I didn’t feel welcome after the long drive.
And to complete this whole nightmare with Izachiel, I told him from the start that my interest in visiting amboseli was to view Mt Kilimanjaro
2 days we stayed in amboseli he did not even show in which direction I needed to spot.
Weather was cloudy but I think he could have at least showed that he cared and make some effort and communicate better.
All by all I arrived back safely in Nairobi but I was not happy at all with the end of this trip. Could have saved some money and do only a 4 day trip. So my advice is that overal Lenchada is a good company I would recommend most of employees are very professional but be wary of types like Izachiel.

Great tour of the mara
We had a pleasant experience with Johnny Jackson, our tour driver / guide. He gave us good information about various animals and their habits. We saw 4 out of the big 5, except rhino. Johnny tried his best to find a leopard who was hidden behind a bush to ensure we got a good picture of it. He drove well on the bumpy roads of the mara and got us very close to 2 majestic male lions which made our day.
Our stay at jambo mara lounge was great as we got a glass cottage which was really cozy and modern. The food could've been better. Also, the itinerary for this tour contained a game drive on 3rd day, but we were not offered one and asked to pay $80 more. The reason given to us was a change in rules for entry recently which was not updated on the website. We ended up skipping it.

Safari experience fantastic with an amazing guide and a super skilled driver. We saw all the animals and even more times!! Lions elephants zebras giraffes etc.
Taxi service impeccable as well as the airplane drive. Just one negative notice one hour and a half for the departure. Wish I could have slept more!!

Botswana - a Trip of a Lifetime
We actually did this safari in 2019 with our friends and when Lucas and his team were working through Recreational Equipment Inc in Seattle. The safari was the same as the one shown here. It was a trip of a lifetime for us and our friends. Lucas and his team were outstanding and took care of every need. We are really happy we did a tent safari because you are right out their in the wilds of Botswana.
Lucas and his team were so knowledgable about the wildlife and their habitat that it just added to the experience. We are so happy that Lucas has formed his own tour complany because he has so much to teach others about Botswana. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a real Botswana safari.

Safari Superb!
There can be no better way to observe the wealth of nature, both in the animals and the vast landscape, of Botswana's Okavango Delta than under the guidance of Lucas Tahiti. Lucas uses his local knowledge to reveal the amazing array of wildlife and at times pauses so that you also absorb the stunning landscape. Lucas’ local familiarity of the wildlife allows positioning that allows up-close observation as the animals moved by our station. Aside from the larger animals, the abundant and colorful avifauna makes for birdwatching that is beyond compare – with Lucas providing expert birding knowledge. Lucas provides an amazingly comfortable camp, providing flawless logistics in a pleasant and safe manner. Even with cameras in hand, I found myself at many times putting them down and simply immersing myself in the experience. Lucas can be counted on a well-organized and totally satisfying adventure!

An amazing safari tour
Bryson arranged a fantastic safari for our family of four. Starting with an early pick up from our hotel in Zanzibar, through flight to Seronera airstrip, three days in the Serengeti, a day in Ngorongoro and finally drop off at Kilimanjaro for our flight home, everything worked perfectly and exactly on time. Bryson was in contact beforehand and throughout to make sure everything was fine. We stayed at three very different lodges as recommended by Bryson, each great in its own way (Melia Serengeti for sheer opulence and Serena Ngorongoro for spectacular location and view were our favourites). The vehicle was comfortable, well equipped and maintained. However, most credit should go to our guide, Estomih. He had great knowledge and understanding of the environment and fantastic enthusiasm to share this with us to show us the best of the spectacular landscape and animals. But more important than that, Estomih was simply an amazing person: helpful, friendly, considerate and reliable. By some distance, we all agreed this was the most enjoyable four days we had ever spent on holiday as a family. It is not the most important factor but, whilst a safari is never cheap, by booking directly with Safari Soles the cost was less than half what a UK travel agent quoted for the same trip. And it goes directly to a small, Arusha based firm and into the local economy. I genuinely cannot think of anything I would change.

Amazing experience of a 5 days safari. Shout out to our guide Omary
We had a very good experience with Travel Africa thanks to our guide Omary. He did the best he could to make sure we see all the big 5 and many more.
Food was also great and we enjoyed our nights both at the lodge and at camping.
Omary was a great pleasure to get to know you! Thank you for everything.
