Beyond my expectation: extremely professional and attentive
5/5

Easy Travel went beyond my expectation in providing us an amazing safari experience. The communication was proactive, clear and very detailed. The service was extremely attentive: they accommodated all of our preferences and even things we didn't think of like a birthday surprise upon our arrival. And our tour guide Herry was simply amazing: he has the sharpest eyes for spotting animals and we were able to see all of the big fives multiple times. We even saw lion hunting which was such an unexpected surprise! And the camp and the food was also incredible: we feel like we are staying at a five star hotel in nature! Overall this tour was extremely good value for the high quality experience it provided, can't recommend it enough.

Wonderful!
5/5

We recently spent 11 days on a vacation in South Africa. Our tour was organized by Discover Africa and they did a fantastic job. We had originally made a deposit on a group tour with a well known international tour operator, but I was concerned about the amount of travel time between destinations. Discover Africa was able to customize our trip and the price was much better, even when we lost the deposit on the group tour.

I worked with Antoinette to plan our trip. She made recommendations which I reviewed and made any changes that I requested. For our transfers and tours, she booked Jarat Tours. The transfers were always on time, courteous, and used very nice Mercedes vehicles. The tours were well organized and we had a great guide, Sorita, for our Peninsula Tour.

In Cape Town, we stayed at the Radisson Blu Waterfront which we felt was in a great location for us. We easily walked from the V&A Waterfront to the hotel, we used their free shuttle service, and we used Uber very easily here. They have a great breakfast buffet.

Next, we went to Stellenbosch. Sorita with Jarat Tours was again our guide and driver and she shared her knowledge of the wine industry there. We had enjoyed three wine tastings. We had lunch at a really nice restaurant in Franschhoek. Reservations were made by the tour operator.

We stayed at the Oulde Werf Hotel, which is near many restaurants. It was a charming and comfortable place to stay.

The main reason for our trip was to go on safari. We went to the Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge in the Mluwati Concession in Kruger National Park. With only six charming thatched cottages, it felt like a very intimate safari experience. We saw so many animals and enjoyed delicious meals – it was simply wonderful. We probably would not have found out about this place on our own, so we are thankful that Antoinette recommended it.

South Africa is a beautiful country. Even my husband said that he would like to go back – even with the really long flight!

All of the hotel, tour, transfer, safari and domestic air arrangements were made by Antoinette at Discover Africa. They provided a very detailed online itinerary, contact information, and general information that was very useful. If we have the opportunity to return, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Discover Africa again.

Great gorilla trekking trip with Silverbird
5/5

Last July, I had booked a 2-day tour to Akagera with Silverbird Tours Agency, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. So when I was back in Kigali I went straight to Silverbird to book a 1-day gorilla trekking trip in Volcanoes National Park. I contacted Peter and he arranged all the details--including the ride up, purchasing the trekking permit, helping me get a COVID test, and lunch after the trek. Damascene was the Silverbird employee who drove me up to Silverbird and made sure everything ran smoothly - I didn't have to worry about a thing. I truly enjoyed his company and learning more about Rwanda from him.

The Silverbird staff are professional yet personable and I trust them 100%. If I travel again to Rwanda for work, there's no doubt in my mind that I would go straight to SIlverbird to arrange any side trips - hopefully next time to Nyungwe!

Thank you, Peter and Damascene, and all the staff at Silverbird! You make Rwanda feel like a home away from home.

Best,
Michelle

He is a very friendly guy
5/5

A good man, trying to make the best of your stay. I can recommend him as a guide. It‘s just an exceptional experience to go on a safari, no matter what. You will hear the lions and hyenas roar in the night and have a incredible experience. The only thing i have to criticize is the maori experience and you have to be aware of the long bumpy roads on your way. Sometimes 6 to 7 hours on unpaved roads can be exhausting. But it‘s a journey you will never forget. If you‘re conscious abuat that, do it! We saw all the animals and it was magical. Ado it, it‘s woth it.

Great safari north Tanzania
5/5

We did a great 4-day safari with our truly French-speaking guide Calvin.
He made us discover the parks of Arusha, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.
We strongly recommend him, Calvin is patient and caring and his driving is pleasant.

Safari again and again with DREAMS ADVENTURES
5/5

Our safari with DREAMS ADVENTURES was a dream come true. Big Five - savanna - crater - the 3 large national parks Tarangire - Ngorongoro and Serengeti impressed us very much. We also experienced Lake Manyara and visited a Maasai village.
Johnson the Safari Entrepreneur was a calm, level headed and experienced guide. We came as strangers and left as friends.
For our next safari we would like to experience the indigenous peoples of the Datoga and Hadzabe with him, as well as the animal world again.
We highly recommend the company - you can have your safari tailored to your needs. An individuality that is worth a lot.

Booking with Tanzania Voyages was the best decision everM
5/5

We are two senior sisters ages 60 and 71. I had been to Kenya 35 years ago and this was my sister’s first trip to africa. We first learned of Tanzania Voyages and Raymond Sangawe ( our guide) when working with another tour agency. They use Raymond for all of their Tanzanian safaris. Raymond guides for many of the high end companies and is also starting his own business that caters to those who want to hire a private guide and vehicle. We decided to go directly with Raymond and it was the best decision ever! We cannot begin to express how much Raymond took care of us. He is extremely professional, an outstanding guide, and a lot of fun! When my sister got ill on the trip, he was so kind and patient. Due to his suggestions we didn’t miss out on ngorongoro crater, and she was able to meet with a dr. Right away. We didn’t miss a thing! We saw so much more than we could have ever dreamed of…three rhino sittings, the big five, a jaguar eating a kil in a tree, elephants trumpeting next to the Land Cruiser, lions galore…so any we lost count! A serval cat hunt, kill and eat a snake, and so much more. He even had is in the middle of the great migration…which we didn’t expect! Every time we thought things couldn’t get any better, they did. There were no daily restrictions on how far you could drive ( which is common with the bigger tour companies) so we were out most of the day each day. The trip went very smoothly and any minor hiccups we easily handled by Raymond. We were so glad to have booked with Tanzania Voyages. All the money stays in the local community, and Raymond also contributes part of each trip to support a local orphanage and charity that supports girls. Raymond offers a variety of tours at several price points. We saved money and got a more deluxe trip going direct with Tanzania Voyages. I cannot recommend Raymond .Sangawe and Tanzania Voyages highly enough.

Easy Travel tailored the trip to our preferences, offering a highly personalized experience.
5/5

Safari with Easy Travel and Herry was an exceptional experience that exceeded all expectations. Throughout our journey, we had the opportunity to visit three remarkable parks: Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, each offering a unique and captivating wildlife encounter.

For the Safari:

1. This safari trip was truly unbelievable as we witnessed a plethora of animals in their natural habitats. From lions hunting their prey to the fascinating sight of hippos munching on their meals, the sheer diversity and abundance of wildlife left us in awe.

2. Our knowledgeable guide, Herry, proved to be an invaluable asset throughout the journey. With a keen eye for detail, he skillfully pointed out animals that would have otherwise gone unnoticed without the aid of binoculars. His expertise and passion for the wildlife truly enhanced our safari experience.

3. One unforgettable incident during our safari was when we encountered another jeep that had become stranded in a treacherous terrain. However we were able to rescue them.

4. The atmosphere at the Tortilis camps was enchanting, and we were delighted by the vibrant singing and dancing performances. To our surprise and delight, they even serenaded my partner with a heartfelt happy birthday song, creating a truly special and memorable moment.

5. Our safari experience extended beyond mere animal sightings. Our guide provided us with insightful information about the history of the parks, enlightening us about the changes they have undergone over the past decade. It was fascinating to gain a deeper understanding of the conservation efforts and preservation initiatives in place.

6. Exploring the wildlife went beyond the iconic "big five." We had the opportunity to learn about the rich variety of trees and plants unique to each park, and how the soil composition impacts the colors of warthogs, distinguishing them as black, red, or gray. This ecological perspective added a fascinating dimension to our safari adventure.

Experiences beyond the safari:

1. Our journey extended beyond the boundaries of the parks as we visited a local village. There, we were warmly welcomed with a homemade meal, and our guide's attentiveness ensured that avocados, our favorite, were included. The genuine hospitality and cultural immersion made this experience truly memorable.

2. We delved into the agricultural history of Tanzania, learning about the rise of GMO crops and the implications it has had on the region. This educational aspect added depth to our understanding of the country's development and its impact on both the environment and local communities.

3. Our exploration of Tanzania's rich heritage included discovering the diverse tribes and their unique histories and typical occupations. Learning about the traditions, customs, and ways of life of these communities provided a rich cultural experience.

4. In gaining a comprehensive understanding of the region, we also learned about the ongoing conflict between the Masai people and the government regarding land rights within the parks. This insight shed light on the complex challenges faced by local communities and the delicate balance between conservation and indigenous rights.

Overall, our safari trip with Easy Travels and Herry was an extraordinary adventure that surpassed all expectations. From the breathtaking wildlife encounters to the enlightening experiences beyond the safari, it was a journey filled with awe-inspiring moments, cultural immersion, and invaluable knowledge. We highly recommend this exceptional safari experience to anyone seeking an unforgettable and enriching exploration of Tanzania's natural wonders and cultural heritage.

5/5

We chose the 3 days selous game in order to experience different aspects of the safari and it was great! Our guide was super kind and helped us for everything! The organization was efficient from the booking to the end of the adventure. The schedule time is perfect since you have enough time to do the experiences and also to relax in the lodge!

Well managed tour
5/5

3 Days - Windhoek- Sossusvlei - Windhoek Camping Guided Safari

It was well managed 3days tour for Dune 45, Big daddy, Deadvlei Sossusvlei, and Sandwich harbour.

Guide:
Fanuel had enough skills and experiences for this tour. He knows well about persons around the camp site of the park and it’s restaurant and thus he is reliable. He is friendly to everyone and willing to help with other travelers as well. I respect his attitude.

Drive:
Total driving distance of this tour was over 1,000km. And around 40% of them are gravel roads. You need to be prepared for them. But Fanuel’s drive was good because he drove safely and not too much speed. I was very comfortable with it.

Scenic points:
Sun set at Dune 45, Sunrise at Big daddy and view of sandwich harbor were magnificent. These are like another planet. Fanuel knew well about the timing of each points to go and thus I could smoothly see them without troubles. For example, if you see sunrise at Big daddy or Dune 45, you need to be in front of the gate at the time of gate open. To do this, you have to stay lodges or camp site inside the park. You also need 4x4 car. Fanuel well prepared for them on behalf of me, which was very convenient for me.

Camp site:
Although the tour was just me and the guide of Fanuel, he prepared tents for each other separately and I could stay there comfortably. I expected the night time was freezing cold but it was okay for me. I could sleep well without problems. We had dinner at the restaurant/bar of the camp site and the food was actually very good.

Overall:
I will definitely recommend this tour for the person who wants to view scenic points smoothly without stress.

Preparing for the tour
It’s better to bring followings with you.
•Small torch : to use inside the tent
•Camera which can take photos of stars: Stars at camp site is very beautiful. But smartphones cannot take photos of them.
•Small spoon: the breakfast prepared by the restaurant includes a cup of yogurt but not a spoon…

If you can fry in or out from Walvis bay airport instead of Windhoek, choose these flights since there are a few things to do in Windhoek.
