Amazing experience!
Axis Safaris is definitly a great choice if you're looking for a budget safari to Masai Mara. Our guide Jack did an amazing job with finding the best spots for the animals. He also was very open to answer all our questions and we had a lot of fun with him. The safari was everything we hoped for. Everything was well organised for the food, accomodation and the transport

Excellent safari professional for your adventure!
We booked a 6D5N tour including Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara in December 2023.
The best season to visit the safari is July to September.
Even though we visited in a raining season, we still got a lot to see.
We saw all big fives except leopard. Leopards hate rains.
But we saw cheetah in Amboseli which was a big surprise! We heard that cheetah in Amboseli is very rare.
In the safari game drives, you need a great driver with skills and knowledge. Dennis is the one!
He’s with us during the whole game drives and showed us a lot. And he never stuck in the muddy roads in safari which happened to other drivers a lot(we went to help others when they’re stuck).
Everything is great during our trip!
However there are still some cons to share:
1. Never compromise the accommodations. We stayed in a cheap Chinese own hotel in Maasai Mara which had sh*tty hardware that makes us want to leave the hotel to safari. Make sure you do research before confirming the hotels with the agency.
2. Souvenir shops during the Highway are mostly scammers. Nothing has a price in the shop and they only negotiate in the end if you decide to buy it. The market in Nairobi has similar stuff wish a better price.
3. Maasai Mara village visit isn’t that worth it. It’s more like buying things in the village instead of seeing more culture. Do not recommend at all.
Big thanks to Meshack, who’s communicating with us for the trip and responsible for all stuff. He replied messages quickly and tried to satisfy our needs. He also helped us to find the market in Nairobi to do shopping. Without his great attitude and helps, I probably wouldn’t book the tour.
Highly recommend Alligator to anyone who wants to visit safari especially in kenya. They also offer trips to Tanzania and other African countries. They have professional people that can make your trip worth it.

Well planned and thoughtful
The trip was well arranged and planned. Good properties were identified and they were very comfortable with the kid. Good food options were available at every hotel . The drivers arranged were accommodative and courteous thus leading to a smooth journey . On the whole we had a very positive experience.

Great experiance with Jocky Tours and Safaris
Best marks for Jocky tours, which organized an unforgettable experience of the Kenyan savannah and nature for our group of five persons. Guide Joshua was a dedicated person who went out of his way to meet us for everything. The price-service ratio completely met our expectations. They waited for us at the airport, drove us to the camp and made sure we got settled in nicely. the camp is excellently organized. very friendly and helpful staff. the food is ok. on safari, the guide made an effort to bring us closer to Kenya and the Masai Mara tribe. He drove us and made sure we saw all the wonderful animals of the Kenyan savannah. I recommend everyone to book a safari with Jocky Tours.

Beautiful trip to masai Mara
My Safari was 2 nights in Masai Mara, in a tented camp which was very simple but we had a nice stay, and one night at Lake Nakuru. My driver Kikitu was the best, Literally changed our experience in positive, wouldn’t have been the same with someone else!!

Out of this world experience
An unforgettable experience! I highly recommend this tour. You will not regret it! Mr.T provided excellent transport to and from the airport and went out of his way to get me dinner on the last night. Our guide, Ezekiel, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the parks and animals. We were able to see the big 5 with him. Salem prepared the most delicious meals for us each day. We stayed in tents while on the safari that were clean and comfy. There were even water buffalo walking through the camp site one night, and an elephant less than 50 meters away another evening. After the tour Daniel checked in with us to make sure we had a great experience! All around fantastic!
Delivered more than what I expected.
First contact was a few months back through the Internet with Mr Tuzzo Mathias. We arranged to meet on my arrival in Dar es Salaam, he also recommended a nice hotel for my short stay in the city.
My two day Safari to Mikumi went very smoothly. Our driver and guide Thomas was excellent. The place just st kept delivering. I was amazed by the quantity of wildlife we came across.

We had Champion as our tour guide who was absolutely brilliant. He tried his hardest to show us the best spots across tanguarie national park, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater! We had such an amazing time! Fully recommend Serengeti smiles

Excellent, thought of EVERY detail for our trip.
Remsi was excellent at thinking of all the details for our trip. We started in Arusha, then to Moshi, Zanzibar, and finally Dar Es Salaam. Remsi reserved every place in each town we went. Our accommodations were wonderful for families, and would be wonderful for ANYONE. He thought of everything for us. On safari, our guide picked us up at our rental home, and dropped us off. We had a great time visiting Tarangire National Park. We saw giraffes, a herd of elephants (even a baby!), zebras, monkeys, and many more! Remsi is very knowledgeable about many places to stay in Tanzania, excellent at planning trips for his clients, and HIGHLY recommend him to book your next trip to Tanzania / or your safari.
