Poor experience
We didn’t have a good experience with this tourist operator.
First they offer a guide Spanish spoken and it wasn’t true, the guide just know some words in Spanish so our communication was so complicated.
We bought the safari 5 day, in the service description they include two days safari at the Masai Mara (including some hours at the 5th day) and our guide said, no the last day is just for go back to Nairobi, we had to show him the description of the service to had the complete service.

I would like to recommend with warm heart Lennox's company if you want a nice and realible 5 days tour. The guide Kevin did the best ,show everything under the five days. Hopefuly öné day we retúr to see this nice ,magical country.

Professionalism
Our experience with Gorilla Booking started at Entebe airport when we arrived. Justus and Charles /our guy/ meet us there and never left until our departure.
We spent a lot of time together and can truly say Charles is the PERSON that you need to have wonderful time in Uganda. He is knowledgeable, friendly and super accomodating. He tried to resolve every problem and satisfy every desire. Hiking in the mountains, meeting with the local peoples or Pygmy , Safari, Murchison Falls, boating on Nile... Everyone from our group had a memorable expirience thanks to the passion, dedication and care of Charles.

What an experience!
From the moment we were met in Nairobi by Ken and Robert until we said farewell to them in Malindi, we had the most amazing experience. Their professionalism and expertise made our safari very special. The five night tour started in Amboseli, where we were lucky enough to see two cheetahs among many other animals. We then took in Tsavo West and Tsavo East, where we witnessed a pair of mating lions. Ken and Robert are both very knowledgeable about the many bird species in East Africa and their enthusiasm helped to turn the novice bird watchers in the party into keen spotters. "Ken, Stop! What is that up in that tree?" "Well, what do you see? Is it the Tawny Eagle? How can you tell? Look at the book here."
My personal favourite was watching the Carmine Bee-eater take off and return several times to the same post, having snapped up a butterfly.
There were so many memorable moments, spectacular views of Kilimanjaro, elephants in Amboseli, hippos in the lake, a secretary bird, the lava flows and the Mzima Springs in Tsavo West, the Bateleur Eagle and the Egyptian Vulture in Tsavo East.
A huge thank you to Ken and Robert for making our safari so much fun.

An incredible safari with the most helpful and personable people from Across the Wild
We did the 7 Day Top Luxury Tour. The Serena Hotel at Lake Elementaita was incredible. Beautiful location with a stunning bar / sitting area looking over the lake and the rooms furnished with colonial buffets. The service and food were excellent; I think we will return to Kenya to stay just at this hotel for a holiday. The following day we moved on to Naivasha Simba Lodge at Lake Naivasha - the hotel was a disappointment and the food was not good either. In retrospect, we should have (and I would suggest you do too) stay this night again at Lake Elementaita and Fina will arrange the safari drive at Hell's gate from here. Day 3 was a very long drive to Masai Mara but this is THE place for the safari to see all the animals, you will see everything here (except the flamingos) so if limited on time I would suggest travelling directly to Masai Mara. FINA was very personable and helpful, she arranged additional trips to the Giraffe sanctuary in Nairobi for us and booked other hotels for either end of our stay. She also had us picked up from the airport at 3.30am. She will be as flexible and helpful as possible, and we had her number so were able to call her directly throughout the safari. Our tour guide was DAVID - the nicest, friendliest gentleman and ever so knowledgeable. He was very conscientious in ensuring we had plenty of sightings of our favourite animals (hippos for me / lions for my husband) and he was fantastic with our 3 young sons. His knowledge of all the animals and birds is extensive, we learned so much from him and he kept it all very interesting.
The driving in Kenya can be erratic and dangerous, we were very thankful for David's considerate. smooth and safe driving throughout!
I would definitely recommend Across the Wild Tours and Safaris, mostly for the personal service you will receive from Fina that makes the trip hassle free and flexible. And if you're able to choose the guide, David was fantastic. He has 2 children whom haven't been on Safari with him, astounding given his experience and knowledge. If we had have known this we would have welcomed them on the safari with us, the company for our children would have been welcome also. Note that alcoholic drinks are not included in the price, nor bottled water at Masai Mara.

Extremely reliable, responsive, knowledgeable and flexible! Will choose over and over!
Amidst the Omicron variant, we decided to take the risk to go on safari in Kenya and to the beach in December 2021 - January 2022. We were fully vaccinated and boostered and had tested negative every time we had a PCR the last couple of years). We couldn't have made a better decision! This was the best vacation my husband and I have ever been on, and we have been on safari before!
Right Choice made it absolutely amazing. George, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive before, during and after the trip on WhatsApp and email! He supported us every step of the way! He chose amazing lodges for us at each location and was flexible with the itinerary.
We were picked up in Nairobi by our guide, Ken, who was with us the entire time. Ken is fantastic. He has more than 10 years of experience doing safaris and that really showed. He was excellent and finding animals and knew so much about each of them. His driving was amazing as well. Both in between and within the national parks, he navigated some extremely difficult passes with ease. He was always on time, in a great mood, very fun, very knowledgeable and became family to us over the 10 days!
Our itinerary was perfect. I really cannot say enough about how wonderful this experience was, and it was all down to Right Choice and their knowledge of Kenya, where to go, where to stay, and having fantastic people working for them.

Amazing tour, much more than expected
I had very good contact with Lennox/Axis to prepare the tour. The recommendations were helpful and he could adapt easily with flexibility to our requests.
We went for a budget 6 days safari and visited Masai-Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha, Hells gate and Amboseli. The accommodations were beyond our expectations.
Peter was our driver/guide for the safari. we highly appreciated his soft and careful driving on the adventurous roads and tracks of Kenya. He is a real professional knowing where, when and how find any animal and then place his vehicle to take the best picture. We were a family group of 3 generations and Peter was so patient and kind with everyone. He could answer all our silly questions on the name of the plants and birds, the wild life and the behavior of the animals...
I recommend Axis Africa for the good organization and certainly Peter as an exceptional guide.

Different type of safari in the jungle
If you don’t have time for a full several-days safari, this is a very good option. In particular, the guided walk through the djungle was challenging and exciting, and with a fantastic view. Best of all was to take a djungle shower in a beautiful waterfall. Dicky is a very good guide.
