Amazing!
We started in Cape Town -- vibrant and lively city and amazing trip to the wine country. Then we went for a safari experience from Cape Town -- as it was our first experience with wild animals - we choose to play it safe and selected a private park - Aquila Private Game Reserve - with all comfort and safe experience. It was a wonderful experience - we saw all the animals that we were promised, the accommodation was wonderful (beautiful bungalow), great staff and wonderful spa.
Then we travelled to Durban - interesting and beautiful.
One of the things that surprised me the most was the nature - such colors and vegetation.
Excellent quality food and drink -- very friendly people.

Perfect trip!
The simple pleasure of a tent based camping safari can't be beat. Listening to the wildebeest, hyena and lions while you rest in your sleeping bag is a memory that will last a very long time.
The wildlife- from birds to big cats- would be hard to beat.

Birding and primates destination
Uganda is a safe destination. Is has a true African vibe. Friendly and welcoming to tourists.
If you are into birding and if you want to see a big variety of primates, Uganda is a good option. Gorilla trekking is expensive and too commercialized.
General game viewing is Ok, but there are many counties like Sout-Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia where game is more abundant and much cheaper to experience.
