Absolutely amazing experience
Me and my husband recently embarked on an awe-inspiring safari adventure in Tanzania, exploring the remarkable Tarangire National Park, the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, and the iconic Serengeti National Park. This journey proved to be an extraordinary encounter with nature's wonders, providing us with a firsthand glimpse into the fascinating wildlife and rich culture of Tanzania.
The safari offered us an unforgettable spectacle of the "Big Five" and so much more. We were privileged to witness the beginning of the Great Wildebeest Migration, a spectacle that was nothing short of breathtaking. The endless plains filled with thousands of wildebeest and zebras, accompanied by the stealthy predators lurking nearby, painted a vivid picture of nature's raw beauty and the circle of life.
The timing of our safari was impeccable. As we arrived towards the end of the rainy season. The weather during our trip was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife encounters without any hindrance.
One of the key factors that made this safari experience truly exceptional was our tour guide, Venance, from African Big Cats Safari. Throughout our journey, Venance's passion for his homeland and its wildlife was evident. He shared captivating stories, fascinating facts, and insightful information about the local culture, further enriching our experience. His deep understanding of Tanzania's ecosystems and wildlife behaviors made each encounter all the more meaningful and educational.
In conclusion, my safari experience in Tanzania surpassed all expectations. From the astonishing wildlife sightings, including the majestic "Big Five," to the exceptional expertise and dedication of our tour guide, Venance, every moment was filled with wonder and enchantment. The combination of exploring Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park provided a comprehensive and diverse experience that highlighted the best of Tanzania's natural treasures. Witnessing the beginning of the Great Wildebeest Migration was an absolute highlight, offering an unforgettable glimpse into one of the world's greatest wildlife spectacles. If you're seeking an adventure that combines breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife encounters, and a profound connection with nature, a safari in Tanzania should be at the top of your list.

Perfect communication
Due to changed plans we didn't travel with Lelaa. However we highly appreciate Eric's communication and flexibility. He put a lot of effort in creating the perfect iternary for us, for a real nice price.

Always ask our question
The trip was very well organized. We chose the base budget and the accommodation and food were wonderful, much more than expected. It was a good trip, our guide always answered our questions and never put a “but” to any request, he always looked for the best way for us to be calm and satisfied. The only small detail was that there were inaccuracies in the program, but they tried to accommodate after our demand to do what the agenda said. Totally recommended, I have done several safaris in Africa and this has been the most personalized and with good service.

Very knowledgeable, personable and highly skilled and experienced
We did a 9 day trip with Kenya and Tanzania with Patrick, Mustafa and Beth - they were all wonderful. We had 3 generations of travelers and we all enjoyed every minute - the baby animals were a highlight and we saw every animal we hoped for. The lions, elephants and cheetahs were our favorites. We feel so lucky and grateful to get such good guides and a well organized tour. The accommodations, food and service was excellent and we’d highly recommend Shanjoy to everyone!

Our guide Alfa and our driver Omari was reliable, nice talking to and they explained a lot about the wild and the animals! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Nature is unreliable but we had luck with both the weather and got to see a lot of animals! Great day!

Unique experience
The 4 day safari tour was a dream from start to finish. Starting with the arrival at the airport, we were greeted warmly and taken to our first hotel. The next day the safari to Tarangiere National Park started.
During the stay of several hours, various routes and stretches were driven, with numerous animals to be seen. At 1 a.m. a lunch break was taken, which was located at a beautiful vantage point.
Then we continued through the park. Around 6 p.m. we were taken to our hotel, the "Farm of Dream lodge". A very beautiful and well-kept facility. The next morning, our guide picked us up at the hotel and we had breakfast there together. Then we went to the Ngorongoro Crater, a national park like out of a movie. There were also numerous animals to see here. At about 1 p.m. we took a break at a lake to have lunch together. Then we continued through the park. The area and the crater were impressively beautiful. On the same On the 1st day we drove to the Serengeti National Park, which for us is the most beautiful of all national parks. We drove about 3 hours through the park, saw there, as in all other parks, lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos .... In the evening we arrived at our camp, Heritage Camp Safari. This was the biggest challenge for us. We stayed in a tent.
We always felt safe and well looked after here, even though a lion hunted its prey right next to our tent at night. When we opened our tent in the morning, there was an elephant right in front of our tent. A very beautiful sight. We drove on and explored the endless expanses of the Serengeti.
There were always surprises to be seen.
The guide took a lot of time for us, even when no leopard could be found at first. Suddenly he was standing in the middle of "nowhere" with his baby. That was one of the most beautiful moments for us. Just like the lion cubs. We spent a long time in the park and then drove on, back to the hotel "Farm of Dream Lodge". The next and last day we continued to Lake Manyara. An impressive area with numerous animals such as monkeys, elephants, lions etc. During our lunch we had a beautiful view of Lake Manyara. Our guide then drove us back to the hotel "Mount Meru".
The tour ended here.
The guide Gaspar enjoys his work and you can tell that he is enthusiastic about what he is doing. We always felt safe, he is a very good and experienced driver.
Also, he could take my fear away when the lion ran right past our JEEP.
All in all it was a gigantic and great experience. The tour was well planned from A-Z. Everything was taken care of. The guide was always friendly and nice. Our personal highlight was the night in the Serengeti. We saw the Big 5 including their babies. We are overwhelmed by the impressions and cannot put into words how beautiful this country, the people and the animals are.
Thank you for this great experience, which we will never forget.

6 Nights/7 Days Mobile Camping Safari – it was a blast!
We spent 7 days and 6 nights on a customized mobile safari with BG and his team, starting in Kasane, Chobe Riverfront, Savuti, Khwai, Moremi, and ending in Maun. In a nutshell, it was a blast, and we are still overwhelmed by all the experiences we had.
Our special thanks go to BG, who is an excellent driver, professional tracker (especially for lion) traces, and an expert in flora, wildlife, and culture. We learned so much and often felt like we were taking part in a Discovery Channel documentary. We got incredibly close to many different animals (managed to see 4 of the Big Five) and enjoyed reviewing our memories every evening while watching Bush TV (bonfire).
The entire team made a real effort to provide us with everything we needed. They were friendly and hardworking. Moreover, they carried all the camping equipment such as tents, stretchers, mattresses, linen, bush showers, tables, chairs, etc. As far as camping goes, it was quite posh. They set everything up for you, provided warm water for morning wash-ups, and even offered the opportunity to shower (camp shower). The service was outstanding, and we mustn't forget about the chef. Billie could be an award-winning bush chef. He even invited us into his kitchen and taught us how to bake bread in the bush without an oven - incredible.
Just beware that the days (in May) are still hot, but the nights can get very cold, so it's advisable to bring warm clothes. Blankets were provided, so we managed. Additionally, it's a good idea to bring a torch and a camp light for inside the tent. Communication was easy via WhatsApp before the tour to discuss all the relevant tour stops and the itinerary. Unrestricted recommendation.
