Raphael, one of the owners/guides, clearly loves Tanzania and has huge respect for the wildlife and environment on which his business depends. His depth of knowledge is deep. He often took us away from the fray to witness a myriad of animals and their unique behaviours up close. Wonderful safari with the best guide ever
This is not the first time I have been on safari in Africa, although it is my first time in Tanzania. I turned to your company on the recommendation of my mother, who used your services in 2019, with excellent recommendations and, in fact, did not disappoint at all, I am extremely happy.
I would also like to express my immense satisfaction with the guide that was assigned to us and my travel companions, Mr. Lawrence Mosha. He is an incredible person, incredibly polite, competent, knowledgeable and calm. A man like few others, it was a real pleasure not only to have him as a guide but also to get to know him. Thanks to him, I'm sure our safari was unforgettable, we even get to see all of the big five!!

Most amazing experience ever
This was the trip of a life time! Our guide, Jackson is the key reason it was so amazing. He was full of information on everything from animals, to landscapes to culture, to history. I never imagined I would see wildlife so up close. Beyond that Jackson was warm, full hearted and engaged with us every minute of the tour. He was just really fun! He and the touring company planned the most wonderful mix of places for us to visit. In addition the accommodations that Kanje grand tours choose for us were wonderful, luxurious, and supported by a generous staff. We especially loved the Ngorongoro Retreat with the beautiful walking paths, beautiful pool and great food. This trip is a must do!

Great safari, great value, great convenience
I had a great trip and round experience travelling with Safari Gurus Africa in Uganda. I had not planned to do a trip after a week of work in Kampala, but the oportunity opened and I started thinking about it just a couple of days before my free days. I got in touch with Abraham and he was super quick in sending me a few options, which he adapted further based on my request. I ended up picking one of the options we prepared together to visit Murchison Falls National Park on a 3 days trip. It was a great trip!
Abraham picked me up at my hotel and we head towards the national park. The trip takes half a day, but he made it enjoyable and nice. He is a great driver mindful of the traffic and safety (and can navigate the streets of Kampala, which is no easy task on my eyes!). We made several stops to try local food (my request) and do some visits along the way, which made the time of travel an enjoyable part of the trip. Abraham has a nice conversation and is knowlegeable, and he did not mind responding to my questions and curiosity. We stay at the Hot Chilli lodge, which was nice and good value, and we had many nice meals, most of the time consisting in local food. The days at the National Park were excellent. Abraham's car is reliable and perfectly prepared for safari, he knows where to go and who to ask to ensure spotting wildlife species. He is also well connected with other guides and park rangers, and this goes in benefit of the options to sightseen the most difficult species - if someone else sees one of the species, he will surely hear about it and go to the area to search for it. He is also respectful to wildlife and the park, and he always behaved rightfully and respectfully to the norms that ensure the minimal disturbance of the animals lives. We spotted several lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, plenty of antilops and many birds and monkeys of different species. I am a biologist myself and we had our own competition to spot the highest number of "big cats" - he's obviously more experienced and won, but I'm proud to say I spotted three lions!
Travelling with Safari Gurus Africa was also great value. The price I was given at the start was what I paid - everything was clear and fair since the start, and I paid for it very gladly.
Overall, it was a great experience, and Abraham made it very enjoyable by organising and ensuring a pleasant trip adapted to my request and needs and offering great value.

Highly recommended
We did a 4 days 3 nights tour to Maasai mara and Lake Nakuru. Communication with Jennifer and Jane was great all along, they are very responsive and flexible. Maasai mara was amazing, we saw many animals and it was low season. We liked the Lenchada camp site as well. Lake Nakuru was great for watching Rino which were not on Mara, so if you are looking to catch the big five, i recommend you going. Really recommend Kenan travel and tours to anyone.

We had the best trip!
I had the most incredible experience with Hyrax Safaris in Kenya! They organized an exceptional tour, ensuring every aspect was phenomenal. The hotels were excellent and the food was top notch! We did Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara.
Our guide, Anthony, was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable and led us through all the national parks, ensuring we spotted the Big 5. He never rushed us for anything, was always smiling and very polite and made the experience unforgettable.
Emmah, our tour organiser went above and beyond, accommodating all our requests and making sure we got the hotels and experiences we desired.

Everthing was perfect
The safari was perfect. We spent 5 days in the most beautiful places. Our guide Damian led us excellently through the national parks and ensured that the safari was a unique experience. Everything was perfectly organized. Accommodation and food were also good. At the end of our safari, we were warmly welcomed by Daniel, who ensured that we had an easy onward journey.

Private Tour to Northern Tanzania
Fransisca, Gordi, Jordan, and Agostino were amazing. This tour was everything I was hoping for and more!
Fransisca spent weeks working with me to refine the itinerary to something that would suit my tastes and desires, offering various options for locations, and types of stays. I ultimately decided to do a camping option as wanted to be close to the action and as 'real' as possible. The camp sites we used were excellent, and the facilities as expected for this type of trip - so as far as I was concerned it was perfect!
Gordi managed the Arusha elements of the trip with airport pick up, Arusha tour, and tours around Kilimanjaro. Was on time, friendly, knew his stuff, and was clearly friendly with everyone we met along the way - excellent source of local knowledge!
Jordan (driver and guide) and Agostino (cook) were a pleasure to be around, knew their stuff, managed the day-to-day perfectly and over fed me with delicious food for every meal. Jordan understood what I was hoping to see each day, and made sure we were able to get the best out of every photographic opportunity.
I have no hesitation in recommending Mellivora and look forward to coming back to Tanzania and travelling with the team again!
