Amazing stay
We had the opportunity to spend 4 days of Safari in Tanzania with this agency and it was one of our best memories of the trip. The team was amazing, attentive, kind and funny. Affordable safari at expert level
We are from Canada and we were unsure of going with a newer company but the tours were the most affordable without giving up quality, they go to the same midrange/luxury camps as others. Ayubu was our guide. AYubu was incredible at spotting animals. He spotted a rhino far away in the crater when 5 other vehicles drove past it! This doesn’t mean it will happen everytime but you have the best chance with ayubu. I couldn’t believe he spotted it. The land cruisers are comfortable as well. Ayubu was able to get my wife quickly to a pharmacy for a scratched eye, very caring and very easy to feel comfortable with. If you are in tarangire I recommend tortilla camp. I would recommend serengeti smile to anyone who is looking for more affordable safari with excellent service.

Superb experience
3 days in Massai Mara. Many thanks to George, our guide, who was brilliant and taught us many things about local life and wildlife. Seeing the animals of the savannah up close was a great experience.

Great guide, and good variety of safaris
We did a private safari with our 3 children who were 9-15. We all really enjoyed our time and the children were far more engaged than we expected. We went for a safari van which was fine but probably increased the drive time between locations. The itinerary wasn’t quite what we had been sent as the drive times between locations were longer (but we enjoyed these as got to see so much of Kenya). Our guide however was honest about this from the outset and ensured we still got lots of time on game drives - we did 2 full day game drives in the 5 days. We saw every animal you could wish to including leopards, only Mt Kilimanjaro was elusive and stayed behind cloud. The accommodation improved with every move but was all great and had pools (but be aware the pools are often closed if arriving late and hard to fit in if leaving early!). I would really recommend Back if Africa, their communication before was great and we had a fabulous safari.

Excellent safari tour operator. I asked them to arrange 3 nights in the Serengeti for me and my 12 year old son. The price was very competitive and the service was excellent. The tour operator (Eli) always attentive and seeking every needs and answering all questions we had. In the Serengeti, (Eli) made sure that we see and experience the wilderness in every aspect. We saw the cheetah's, lions , lion cubs, elephants, leopards, hypos, and hyenas. Me and my son had great time, and not had single negative aspect from all the safari arrangements. Actually i plan to explore more Tanzanian wilderness with Mama Savana Safari in my next trip .
