Excellent end to end organization
5/5

Strongly recommend Discover Africa Safaris - they helped us organize the safari of our dreams tailored to our needs!
Our travel agent - Chrizaan, was amazing - very responsive and super helpful (even during the weekends). She helped us organize and book all the details - transports from and to the airport, accommodation, game drives, panorama route on the way back… and we felt VERY SAFE the whole time. It wouldn’t be possible without her, so I’m glad we chose this company! Their engagement, response times, offers and prices were much better than all the other travel agencies…
Ps. We saw the big 5

Great jurney, excelent service
5/5

Our guide Shelia was incredible. We had amazing trip, Shelia was reliable, good driver, know the best spots in Serengeti, know a lot about animals and you can see that he loves his job.
Accommodation in 5-Day Majestic Safari in Serengeti (Tarangire- Serengeti- Ngorongoro) was excellent. Even in Serengeti we had tent with bed and shower in the middle of Serengeti, no fences, wildlife everywhere. Accommodation in Keratu (Elains) are one of the best, what we had in Kenya- big room, great dinner, hot water and comfortable bed.
We had in total 3 safaris with 3 different companies but Go Ahead Trip company was the best one.

The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the car was reliable and comfortable. Our guide, Sam, was the best! We had fascinating conversations and saw all the amazing animals and he really made sure we saw all the animals ( only for the rhinoceros who is very rare, we saw cheetah and leopard

A company you can trust on
4/5

They are a good tour company and provided us a nice safari experience in Pilanesberg. Everything was as planned, and in fact during our drop to the airport there was an unexpected incident which they handled very well. Recommended!

Suricata Safari What an Expieriance
5/5

We had an incredible safari with Suricata Safaris and I could go on for ever but will try to keep it simple. The biggest surprise for me was that this isn't a typical run of the mill tourist venture with minimal staff training. Our cook Salim was a qualified chef and prepared 3 fresh meals a day for us. This wasn't sandwiches and packet food but fresh fruit and cooked meals at every sitting (also some very tasty traditional dishes) which made us feel like we all left a little healthier. Our guide Frederick was a complete professional and had a wealth of knowledge. It came as no surprise that he had 9 years of expierence as a guide but also had completed years of post graduate education prior to becoming a guide. His knowledge of the plants and animals was incredible and we were learning knew facts and behavioural traits of the same animals right up to the end of the safari. Not only that but his knowledge of Tanzania itself including the history, geography, the people and the politics amazed me and left me a little embarrassed by a lesser understanding of my own country Australia.
Maybe others won't have the same expierence that we had as timing and a bit of luck comes into it so do your homework. Regardless of this you can't take away from the professionalism of the operation from the guides and cooks to the logistics involved behind the scenes so if you are questioning whether it's worth the money, it is. If you are as lucky as us to have an incredible guide and cook be sure to tip generiously. Why? You have to remember you are going on a multi-day safari in remote areas full of incredible but also some very dangerous animals and these people are not only responsible for your welfare but also your overall enjoyment and expierience so they are worth every cent of a generous tip. They do their job well. I would also like to suggest that you take some small notes (1$) to give to the various people behind the scenes manning the toilets and camp sites. This money not only goes a lot further for them than it does for most of us in our own respective countries but also encourages them in the work of supporting the safari industry in Tanzania for without it the wildlife and parks would cease to exist.

Book with Zohar, you won’t regret it!
5/5

There are so many companies offering similar tours, but Zohar African safaris was a great choice.

From the first communication with Lillian I knew we would have a trip to remember. Lillian was always so accommodating and on hand to answer any questions, I really appreciated that we were able to change the date due to flight changes.

Our guide was Tom, he was fabulous company for our tour. He really knows his stuff and found us the Big 5! He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and was flexible after another flight change meant we had to leave later and from a different airport.

The accommodation we stayed in were fabulous and the staff also helped to make our tour unforgettable. Zohar arranged a little celebration for my husband’s birthday. The staff at Manyara’s Secret sung Happy Birthday in the traditional African way and gave a birthday cake. That really made it special,

Overall if you are looking for a safari in Tanzania, I’d highly recommend Zohar, you will not be disappointed.
