Safari in Tanzania
Lion King customized a safari for me and my husband. I did not want to rush from location to location, so Nickson added some nights to the 5 day safari to make it a nine day. The accommodations were a mixture of mid-range and luxury. Nickson adjusted the accommodations so that they would fit in my budget.
We were very impressed with all of the accommodations. (In the end, having now completed the safari, I would have chosen 7 nights as 4 nights in Central Serengeti was too many, but I didn't know that in advance).
Arranging for pick up at the airport is a very nice touch that Lion King adds even though we arrived a couple days early to adjust to the time change/jet lag.
Our guide, Peter, sent me a WhatApp message the night before picking us up introducing himself. This was nice so we would know what he looked liked.
Peter was excellent at ensuring we saw the maximum amount of wildlife. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and passionate about his work.
We would recommend Lion King Adventures.

Longclaw Expeditions are simply the best!
I have traveled to Kenya on four occasions in 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2022. I have been to Maasai Mara three times, and have used Peter with Longclaw Expeditions each time. Peter is extremely knowledgeable about all species, especially birds. He knows the park very well and knows where to go to find the animals. We have seen just about all the large mammals in Maasai Mara, including elephants, rhinos, lions,leapords ,cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, and all the common animals. Peter not only knows where to locate the animals, but provides an education about each one. I am a photographer, and Peter is great at getting you up close for great pictures. Maasai Maara 3 day safari shared lodge tour
3 day trip to Maasai Maara was great. We 4 of the big 5 animals except for Rhino which we already saw in Lake Nakuru and Nairobi national park. We saw Python, elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas,zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles, crocodiles and hippos. We also visited Massai village to learn about their culture . Lodging and food was great at the resort. Will come again.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Kanje Grand Tours!
I was travelling to Tanzania as a solo-female traveller I felt safe and well looked after at all times.
Innocent came to meet me before and after the tour to discuss the details which I thought was a nice touch.
I did a 6 day tour visiting 4 parks (lake manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater). This was perfect for me as I was able to spend 2 nights/ 3days in Serengeti. (The car journey to Serengeti is fairly long so I would recommend 2 nights there if possible.)
I chose to do a shared safari. Kanje Grand Tours partners with another company to provide shared tours. I was a bit apprehensive about this initially, however the driver was very experienced and vehicle quality (land cruiser) was good (comfortable and well maintained). Both are essential for a good safari experience.
I very much enjoyed the shared safari tour as I had a lovely sociable group.
Our driver (Mitinangi) was absolutely brilliant. He knew the animals and parks like the back of his hand. We always ended up in the best spots with amazing views of the animals. He made sure we saw the Big 5 including the Rhino!
The food was great. We had a cooked lunch everyday which was pretty tasty!
The communication with Kanje Grand Tours was excellent. I always received a reply promptly and they were happy to clarify doubts.
I chose to go for a mid-range tour staying in lodges and tented camps. I liked that the company gave me range of options of places to stay in each park so I was able to choose accommodation according to my budget and preferences.
I stayed at Marera mountain view lodge (2nights) and Angata Serengeti Tented Camp (2nights). Both were outstanding and beautiful, with brilliant service. It was nice to have the luxuries of a hot shower after a long day of safari.
The food at the Angata Serengeti Camp needs a special mention as it was wonderful!
I was meant to stay at Ngorongoro Angata Camp for my last night, however on the day I decided to swap to the public camp as I wanted to have this experience. (Thanks to my driver for organising a tent and sleeping bag at last minute!) I loved the camping experience as well. Dinner and campfire was magic. The Zebras were munching right outside my tent! I have to say it was quite cold on the crater rim so do pack a fleece + hat!
Overall I would recommend Kanje Grand Tours to my family and friends. They provided me with a great safari experience at a fair price.

We just spent 6 days on Safari parks of Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti, this was the best of our dreams while we plan visiting Tanzania.
Mr James our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the ecosystem, explaining us everything with a lot of detail. Also, he was very experienced in finding the best spots to observe the different animals, as well as a very skilled driver through the different terrains of the parks. We highly recommend Framat Adventure and Safari for their attention to detail, professionalism and wonderful staff. Good Job Framat

Great fun
If you are in Zanzibar and looking for something actual fun, safari is THE choice.
The tour was well organized, really fun and good value for our money. We started out slow, we had some confusion with a third party. The tour operator was responsive and helpful to sort out this mistake that was out of our and her control. We never felt left alone. After that she went out of her way to make the tour for us. And she really did not disappoint. It was great fun, and a experience we will never forget. We had luck, thats for sure but our driver was insanely good aswell. He anticipated where the animals would go so we parked there, and let the animals walk by us, super close. The bottom line is it was great in every stages. Would rate it as 6 star.
All is left for now, is to ensure you how genuinely great fun this is. I strongly encourage you to book a safari now, this worth every penny and more.

Perfect experience on a 15 day Kenyan safari
We spent two fantastic weeks visiting the best kenyan parks, enjoying a lifetime experience thanks to Tazama. Thank you Antony for organising the trip acording to all our requests and to our incredible guide Henry. We could not be more happy. We highly recommend them.
