This was my first time at the Maasai Mara and it was the greatest safari ever!
Jocky Tours and Safaris delivered! The organisation was great and we got exactly what was on the proposal.
I am especially greatful for Marvin , our driver/ guide, who ensured that we got the full masai mara package ranging from seeing many animals including all the big five( which we were so lucky to see on one game drive) to the wilderbeast migration & crossing and a visit to the Masai Mara where we learnt alot about the Maasai.Marvin knew all the spots find the animals and he took us right to them.
Marvin was very patient with us. He answered all our questions and showed us the perfect photo spots to ensure that we had the best photos to document our amazing safari.

Our trip in Uganda would not have been the same without Primate World Safaris !
We highly recommend Primate World Safaris for a trip in Uganda. We booked a car with a driver for our French family of 6 for 2 weeks in August. Jackson, the manager, was always available to answer our questions about the booking or the country on WhatsApp or by email. The booking was easy and Jackson made sure we were happy with our driver during the trip.
Geoffrey, was not only a driver but also a guide and an activity planner. We thank him very much for his kindness and professionalism. He knows every road of his country, including the good ones of the national parks where we saw a lot of wildlife, including the big four (we decided to skip Rhino Sanctuary). Thanks to Geoffrey, we learnt many things about Uganda’s culture and history. He did his best for us to enjoy our stay.

Its hit and miss - and the big five are no way guaranteed
Crowd: It's the year of Corona and the crater is not too crowded these days. At one picnic site, there were about 15 cars for lunch - throughout the park we never saw more than two other cars.
Wildlife: Obviously it was a quite unlucky day, because everyone else seems to have the best wildlife experiences here. We saw one pack of lion very very far away (barely detectable with good binoculars), no other cats, no rhino, one elephant hiding deep in the bush, a few smaller herds and ostriches.. so its no way guaranteed to see anything here. It was a normal day, not too windy, a bit cloudy, in the middle of dry season. There was no obvious reason why there was nothing around, but you have to accept it's just nature. But after a day like that I really don't get the hype.
Scenery: The scenery is very unique though and the views into the crater made the day.

Fun, adventure, organised, safe
Myself and my husband went on a private tour of Kenya to three Safari destinations with James Magi. He was brilliant! He made us have a safe, fun and exciting trip. We loved Amboseli for the food and views of Kilimanjaro and of course the animals which were wandering around in ther natural habitat. Then James drove us to Lake Nivasha/Nakuru to see the flamingos and White Rhinos especially. We had to look very hard to find the rhinos but James never fails! After there, we drove to Masai Mara which really was exciting to see the vastness and the rest of the big 5. Cats!!! It was such an adventure!! James did his very best to make our trip so memorable and flawless! We had a great last evening in Nairobi, visiting the giraffe sanctuary where we fed the giraffes and later we went for amazing food in Carnivore restaurant. Really! This was an amazing Safari trip! We thank you so much!

I have just finished amazing 10 days of safari in Claws of Africa .This was my first safari experience in Africa! Everything was wonderful, much better than what I expected! Fahamu safaris did the best!
We booked the safari 2 days before the trip and even in a short notice, they did amazing job. They were so organized. We received all the necessary information before we started the trip and we had the best experience in our lives during this trip. Our guide Frank was more than a guide, he was a company and a friend during the safari. He had such a great knowledge about the habitat and all the animals and an amazing sight. We chased for adventures :) the hotel was really clean and comfortable, within the savannah and we were exactly within the nature. Everything was above our expectation! Thanks again

Super Company for Hiking Mount Meru and Kili
General
We booked with Edward 2 hiking trips to Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro in July 2021. We are a young couple (30 and 32) and do regularly sports and hiking. To prepare for the hikes we started to go running (6-10km) more regularly.
After we arrived at Arusha International, we have been taken to Edwards’s brother in laws hotel BetterInn and stayed there for the first night.
In the morning Edward and our hiking crew came and we started with our hike to Mount Meru. Edward and his employees are super friendly and openminded. We were lucky to have the same crew on both hikes consisting of 10 people (2 guides 1 cook, 1 waiter and 6 porters). Especially our guide William was very friendly, caring and professional company on both hiking trips.
About Mount Meru
First Day of Mount Meru is very beautiful, because you hike in a National Park and can see wild animals directly in the Nature. We saw giraffes, monkeys and wild buffalos next to us. On this trip you will sleep in huts with 2 or 4 beds per room. The beds in the huts are very comfortable and you will have good sleep if your sleeping bag is warm enough.
During the first days we realized that we are much faster than the average groups and the estimated hiking times. Therefore, we decided to start later as normal to summit to Mount Meru. However, we were still too fast and had to wait on the top for 45 minutes in the dark to see the sunrise. Our guides William and Agostino were very caring and supported us with nice Tanzanian Songs and warm Ginger tea. On the way back we used rescue car to go faster down to prepare for the Kilimanjaro summit.
About Mount Kilimanjaro
After 1 day of rest, we started our hike to Kilimanjaro with our guide William and the rest of our crew from Meru. We chose to hike Machame route in 6 days, however after day 2 we arrived already in the next camp at 11.30am and decided to hike day 3 tour also on this day. For the summit we decided to start at 3am and not 12am, because we are much faster than the average hiking groups. We have been very lucky, because we arrived on the peak at 8am and were alone for more than 10 minutes. This was a very special moment for us, and we are happy thanks to our crew and particular our guide William.

Mobile safari 10 days
We took a safari in July 2021, 2 cars, 4 people each.
Overall, I liked the organization of the camp and the service.
Monametsi quickly solved all the problems that arose during the pandemic. And despite the general lockdown (it was announced 3 days before the arrival of my group), we were able to visit all the parks that were indicated in our tour. These are Savuti, Kwai, Okavango Delta, Kalahari and the island of Cubu.
I'm going to do at least one more tour with this company.

What a wonderful experience of a lifetime! Ker & Downey OUTDID themselves. I ALWAYS felt safe and in great hands by being in touch with a professional caring group of people. The lodgings at each camp were welcoming with loving, joyful staff and ALL of our needs (if any) were attended to in haste. We lived in luxury!!!! A hot water bottle at our feet every night!!! Food was excellent! As I am a picky eater ALL of the chefs were sooo accommodating I just loved them! As for our guides and seeing beautiful Kenya landscape and wildlife.....couldn't have asked for more. We saw ALL the animals we could ever have hoped for....each guide said HOW LUCKY WE WERE and I totally agree! I would go back in a heartbeat and HIGHLY recommend Ker & Downey Africa to anyone!
