We had a very good experience with Home of Africa. We had a 11 days safari and everything turned out perfect. Our guide Karim took care of all the details, and he was very patient with us. We recommend this experience.

Unforgettable experience beyond my expectations
This safari was definitely a worthwhile and memorable experience. Top-level staff and communication (Latipher is great), excellent network, 5-star organization and exceptional professionals. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. We saw all the big 5 and more animals than we could ever imagine. Our guide was very helpful to find and spot all the animals and attentive to all our needs and wishes. The cook was also great (Moodie). We camped for 2 nights in Serengeti and Ngorongoro in comfortable tents in true wilderness, but we never felt unsafe. I definitely recommend.

Incredible experience!!!
The entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. Communications w Jockey was smooth prompt and clear from the first message. Our tour guide Jeff was exceptional. He was incredible passionate informative and dedicated to making it the best experience for all involved. The experience exceeded my expectations and I would highly highly recommend this to anyone interested!

Excellent service and experience all around, will book again!
The shuttle service was really great from the welcome smile to goodbyes. It is extremely good value compared to a local flight, and even if the duration may seem a bit daunting, it really doesn't feel long at all! The driver was really nice and fun, often giving information of the area, and the shuttle very comfortable with usb charger as well, handy during a long drive. The number of stops were perfect to stretch our legs, get some snacks and drinks and even look at the views. We were lucky with other passengers too, which we even kept contact with.
Overall very happy and will definitely book again!

Excellent and easy contact with Mika. Great trip with Andrew, a full 4x4 jeep. I went on the 4 day tours, but think the 3 day one is enough (lake Nakura is ok, but a long extra drive.....). Got to see all big 5

Magic experience!
Amazing and unique experience of life time. We were lucky and saw the big five and witenessed cheetah eating her pray ( wild beast). Our guide Douglas was very skilled and kind, we learn a lot of things with him. The food made by the cook (Yohan) was very tasty. Unfortunately cheating their customers
BEWARE
My wife and I travel a lot. Whenever possible we try to use local travel agencies to spend the money locally. This is what we did for our 2-week trip to Ruanda in January 2023. Mandrill African Safaris put together a great trip ticking all our boxes. Sam, our guide, was a very pleasant and helpful young man. He looked after us very well. It was all the more annoying and frustrating that we were told while doing our Gorilla trekking that the company could not draw money from its accounts due to some administrative hiccup and we should pay for petrol, park fees etc. as our guide could not draw the money to do so. We would be refunded at the end of the trip. Knowing Africa, we refused to do this but it quickly seemed as if our only chance to get back to Kigali and our flight home, was to pay an extra $500.- on top of our original fee of $11000.-. Needless to say that we never saw the money again and got nothing but a load of excuses. The whole thing is really sad as we would have liked to recommend Mandrill African Safaris to our friends due to the great tour we had otherwise. This way we can only say: BEWARE or be cheated!
