Friendly guides
The agency was always on time with the schedule. The drivers and guides were very friendly and cooperative.
However, the trip from JNB to the park was very tiring. I suggest booking a hotel closer to the park and scheduling a Pilenesberg Park visit early morning (this time is still fresh and the animals are out hunting, so you can see them more easily). Our group started the park tour at about 9:30 and we couldn't see the lions and the leopards. The giraffes and the rhinos were too far away to be seen properly, so take a good camera with more zoom to use there. The cell phone camera is not enough.

Poorly organised & we still haven't been refunded for cancelled activity
- Before the trip even started, communication (regarding payment & our pickup arrangement) with our booking agent was so terrible to a point where we suspected the legitimacy of this company.
- We had to chase our booking agent numerous times (payment has been made at this point) before he finally sent us a pickup driver's contact details
- Before we departed, we sent the pickup driver a message to confirm. He was surprised to hear from us as he wasn't aware of this pickup arrangement and said no-one had contacted him, nevertheless he still agreed to pick us up when we arrive (thank god).
- We we arrived, the pickup driver had no idea where to drop us off as he did not know anything about our itinerary. After many phone calls, he finally found out where we were staying and managed to drop us off at out accommodation. However he did not work for this company and it was still unclear why our booking agent had given us his details.
- the next day we found out one of our activities in Arusha wasn't booked and we had no idea until we arrived (after driving aimlessly for 2 hours).
- We requested for a refund for this cancelled activity as well as our accommodation for the night (as we wouldn't have booked accommodation for that night if it wasn't for the activity mentioned above).
- Staff agreed to refund the activity and suggested they would confirm with their management team and try to refund the accommodation, and promised to sort this out for us before our trip ends. We believe their words.
- After coming back from safari, we returned to Arusha for 1 extra day, We contacted the staff regarding our refund, they said they were still working on it.
- It's been a month since we are back from the trip, we have been contacting the company regarding this matter, and we have been ignored.
- It's been a really dodgy experience overall. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company.

Best safari ever!
Of course, a safari was a must have on our Tanzania/Zanzibar tour. We decided on 5 days of Tarangiri, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara with JUVENILE TOURS. That was an excellent decision.
Our guide was the boss, Jackson, himself. Everything worked great and more than reliably and Jackson himself is not only super personable, but also extremely professional. He is extremely knowledgeable and truly has 'eagle eyes'. We had a really great and unforgettable 5 days.
We can absolutely recommend Juvenile Tours and say a big thank you to Jackson for the brilliant time!

Perfect support for our safari in the Okovanga Delta
We booked our first safari with Compass Odyssey and can recommend it 100%. Based on a tour offered here, we customized our trip completely. Darren supported us perfectly and provided us with competent information.
We were provided with all the necessary information before the trip. During the days in Victoria Falls we were comprehensively looked after by Mortimer and his team.
The absolute highlight was the days in the middle of the Okavango Delta. We stayed at Kanana Camp, which was absolutely perfect in every aspect, and we would highly recommend it. The service, and especially the safari experience, is as authentic as it can be. We saw all the major animals living in the Okavango Delta up close. Since it's not a publicly accessible area, we were able to calmly observe leopards feeding and lions playing, all by ourselves with our jeep and guide.
It's worth mentioning that Compass Odyssey even advanced us money in Zimbabwe to pay the bills because none of our credit cards worked (6-digit instead of 4-digit PIN!). That was service far beyond the usual!

Godfrey was knowledgeable passionate and so much fun
The safari tour we did with Zamunda was incredible and I could not recommend it enough. The knowledge of our safari guide Godfrey was unparallel and he took so much time to answer all of our questions, tell us information about different animals and also the tribes people. We went to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. They were each incredibly special and different in their own ways. The accommodation we stayed in were tented lodges and such a unique experience. Staff and food were amazing at every stop and extremely attentive and kind. Everything was organised smoothly and efficiently and completely reliable. This trip has given me a love for safari, Tanzania and Africa in general after having such a positive experience. I would recommend zamunda tours to anyone particularly our guide Godfrey who was hands down amazing. I can't wait to cone back !

Amazing, epic, dedicated, the best!
I had the privilege of being led on an unforgettable journey through Tanzania by our exceptional tour guide Goodluck. From the moment we met, his passion for the continent was palpable. His knowledge of the history, culture, and wildlife was astonishing, and he shared it with enthusiasm at every turn.
Goodlucks ability to connect with the local people, from tribal communities to urban centers, allowed us to experience Africa in a truly authentic way. He effortlessly bridged the gap between tourists and locals, making each interaction meaningful and respectful.
Throughout the trip, his impeccable organization and attention to detail ensured a seamless and stress-free adventure. From navigating the Serengeti in search of the Big Five to exploring vibrant communities in Tanzania, every moment felt well-planned and executed.
What truly set Goodluck apart was his dedication to sustainability and responsible travel. He emphasized the importance of preserving Africa's natural beauty and supporting local communities. It was heartening to witness their commitment to eco-friendly practices and ethical tourism.
In sum, our Africa trip was an eye-opening and transformative experience, thanks largely in part to our remarkable tour guide Goodluck. Their expertise, warmth, and dedication to creating a meaningful and responsible travel experience made this journey one I'll treasure for a lifetime. I can wholeheartedly recommend Goodluck to anyone looking to explore the incredible diversity and beauty of Africa.

Fabulous
I went in a tour with the guide, george. We went to the Serengeti national park, as well as Ngorongoro crater and a number of other locations.
George was a great guide. He managed to find so much wildlife and we we got to be right there when a lion pride was hunting Zebra. We found leopards and cheetahs, both with kills, as well as dozing under trees. We actually managed to see a lioness with her new cubs.
George was knowledgeable about the wildlife and told great stories about them plus was happy to sit as long as we wanted to. We saw some fabulous interactions between Baboon families, elephants, hippos, giraffes and many different kinds of birds
I recommend this trip. The camping was actually easier than you think and the meals were great. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
