David Mwangi was our guide on my family's June 2021 trip to the Mara. I must contend that the Maasai Mara is an exceptional place, and I can say without a shadow of doubt that David is one of the best tour guides I have had the occasion to work with. David was able to provide us with a very enriching experience of the Mara by scheduling and executing three safari-drives in which we saw many different species of wildlife. His knowledge of the various birds and animals, and his ability to spot (and identify locations for best spotting) hard to get animals is exceptional. I most admired his professionalism and patience that allowed us sufficient time to take-in each species, take pictures, ask questions and learn all we could about the species of interest to us.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience with dedicated and professional guides
We took a four-day safari in Maasai Mara and Nakuru lake. The entire team was dedicated, stuck to our schedule and very thoughtful of our needs. Our driver and guide, James, exceeded our expectations and made this an unforgettable experience. He was always there for us and answered all our questions in an excellent English. He was very proactive and always managed to take us to the best viewpoints to see the animals in the reserve. He gave us much insight and information on the animals in the reserve, the many species, their habitats, breeding, lifestyle, etc. He also has excellent driving skills and is very familiar with the terrain of the reserve. He was always cheerful and ready to help. Asante sana, James! You rock!

I contacted Tamara thru the safari bookings website, and I like the quote for the 11 days Kenya and Tanzania Safari; the quote was very reasonable for my son and me. When we arrived in Kenya, she insisted on picking us up at the airport and recommending a hotel for us to stay in until the day for the Safari to start. She welcomed us, and she was kind to my son, and this is great. My son and I became very fond of her.
Tamara is very knowledgeable and quick to get things done, and in any part of Africa, this is the kind of person you need as a contact to help you. Sometimes things do not go as planned because of circumstances, but it always turns out better than expected if you have the right person with you.
If you plan to go to East Africa, don't waste your time; contact Tamara from Adventure My Take and let her handle everything for you, I will be back in East Africa, and I will use her services again for sure.

Trip of a Lifetime!
We spent three weeks in Uganda in June, going on safari and primate tracking with Grassrootz. We had an absolutely fantastic experience and could not have been happier with our tour company. From the very first email exchange, Sander was immediately responsive, and he put together the perfect itinerary for us. He worked with me on every little change and update I requested. Our guide / driver, David Otto was superb! He is such a calm, patient, kind, and knowledgeable person, and he handled all the logistics flawlessly. He had friends, colleagues, and connections at every one of the parks/lodges/venues, and delivered on everything we asked for. The density and diversity of wildlife in all the national parks we went to was just amazing, and David's eyes spotted everything!

Aron is one of the nicest people I’ve met! He is really lind and helpful, and he is there to help you see the beauty of the wilderness, trying so hard to help you see all of the animals, including the big 5! He is funny and very informed about everything!
