You can never get a better tour operator, simply amazing and fantastic
The tour operator staff were very professional and dedicated, and very flexible to the different needs. The director even collected our luggage to store for us so that we did not have to worry about them during the Safari. The director was also in contact with us from the moment the booking was made, which was very re-assuring.
The driver that we had, Mr. Omar, was amazing at his job and his knowledge on the tour extended beyond the animals. He kept us entertained and informed all the way from and to Mombasa, and during the Safari.

The tour of a lifetime!
African traits designed a safari that met our needs and provided us the comfort we desired. We ended up chartering into the park and starting the safari experience there. Our tour guide was responsible, ensured we were doing well, and safely took us in the parks. We could not have asked for a better guide. He was so knowledgeable too about not just the animals, but the environment, routes, and all the areas we visited. We never wondered or worried about a single thing. This was out third time into Serengeti and it was by far the best. The price charged for the whole tour was reasonable and we could not have asked for anything better.

Highest standards in personal communcation and excellent recommendations
From the start, Kathi provided excellent advice and communication. She was able to reply quickly, with detailed answers, to phone calls, messages and emails, full explaining circumstances around our upcoming tour. Her service was beyond our expectations. Whenever I called, at times out of hours, I could depend on her immediate assistance. Kathi personally recommended a safari at Kariega Private Game Reserve and booked return flights for us from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. It proved to be a most impressive lodge with excellent location, service, game drives, meals and drinks. At our room we were delighted to have giraffe, monkeys, kudus and warthogs visiting a waterhole just by our own terrace! Game drives were exciting with our knowlegable ranger who had much to tell us on each of two drives every day. The experience of the African countryside was breathtaking.
Kathi had organised everything, including private taxi transport to and from the reserve and Port Elizabeth airport. On our return she helpfully organised our car rental for the rest of our stay in Capetown, managing our paticular requests in her friendly and efficient way.
I can absolutely recommend 'African Welcome Safaris' to others considering a booking.

Perfectly organized with good proposals and good respond to our wishes.
In the planning phase we had a good and very responsive communication with Benson. Booking was easy and transparent. Marvellous Lodges/ Hotels, the final highlight was the Manyara Best View Lodge, an extraordinary location, spectacular view and very kind staff. Our Safari guide Ruambisa (?) Paulo was a very good driver, good animal finder, had a lot of knowledge about the regions, culture and animals. He made our trip a great and wonderful experience. Communication was easy in our mother tongue German. Thanks again!
