Fabulous Safari with a great guide
5/5

Communication was good and everything was as described. The Safari exceeded my expectations. We saw all the big five, the ugly 5 the migration of the wildebeest and a leopard up a tree eating a warthog - amazing. Our Guide Mark was very knowledgeable, very patient and a lot of fun. He made it a fabulous 5 days to remember.

Enjoyed the tour thoroughly, good safari guide
4/5

Don't leave loose ends. Negotiate the whole trip beforehand including the trip to whichever airport you are flying out of. Make sure all the quoted camps/hotels are booked before you arrive.
Communications was good.

Helpful and Knowledgeable Staff, Amazing Experience!
5/5

While there were some minor miscommunications in what was included vs not (specifically the meals on the last day), Rita was incredibly helpful and kind and sorted it out very professionally. As a group of students, we were travelling on a budget, but the value of the trip including the meals, the lodging, and the activities were unbelievable! Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable and adapted to the needs of the group. The staff at the lodging locations were also fantastic, welcoming, and professional. If I every have the opportunity to visit Kenya again, I will definitely be reaching out to Skylax for booking!

Two Day, One Night in Selous
5/5

Really awesome trip. Mwajabu organized everything. Pick up from my apartment in Dar, straight to the airport, jump on a plane, land in the bush, get on a truck, safari (see a ton of animals), return to camp, lunch, boat safari, dinner, wake up early, safari, back to the airstrip, land in Dar, taxi ride back to my apartment.

That's how busy people knock out a Safari so we can get back to work on Monday.

Service was worth what we paid for and our expectations exceeded
5/5

I must admit that we were a group of 15 young people and we looked for safari from many companies and settled on Bison Safaris because Maggie really engaged us one and one and we felt very comfortable . She also gave us an option of paying on arrival in Kshs and we felt safe and more convinced that this was the company to go for.

We were never disappointed at all as we stayed at Lenchada camp which is basic camp and very clean. Great food and amazing staff .

Most of all we had an amazing safari driver Patrick who was able to make us see all the big 5 and many more animals .The Game drives were spectacular something we will never forget. He has vast knowledge of the park which was a big plus for us as we saw many animals many people from other companies never saw.

I would recommend Bison safaris any day as they offer what you book and pay for .

Ooh yes and the Masai Village was exceptional -i fell in love with the Masai people .Must see when in Mara.

Maggie and Bison team-Kudos and keep up the good job guys . We shall be back .

Fantastic Trip
5/5

We booked from the UK and chose Xaa as it was flexible, friendly and good value for money.
From the minute we were picked up in Maun we had an amazing time, a great team of people who were a combination of guides, trainees and local community villagers accompanied us into the delta. Great knowledge and fun company. All our camping equipment was brand new and extremely smart, we were treated like royalty! Well fed and watered too! The group even did an impromptu entertainment show of traditional singing which was fab! It was so nice to spend time with local people in the beautiful delta, surrounded by elephant, hippo, and wildebeest! Would certainly recommend and can’t wait to return!

A journey to remember
5/5

In December 2017 me and my family made a trip to Uganda. Of course we chose Mamaland Safaris as our tour guide. We had Mamaland as well on our first trip to Uganda & Tanzania about 7 years ago. I can guarantee you, when I am going to visit Uganda again, I am definietly going with Mamaland Safari. The guides knows the areas, they know the people and they are very flexible. Is there anything you would like to do that is not on the schedule? Then Mamaland will most likely fix it for you so that you will have the ultimate experience. The guides are very friendly and after the trip you're guaranteed to have met new friends.

If you are traveling to east Africa, make sure you pick Mamaland Safaris!

So Many Priceless Moments
5/5

Date of Travel: May 2017
Review Title: So Many Priceless Moments!

We can't say enough about how great our agent was to work with at this Africa safari travel company. I asked dozens of questions and she patiently, pleasantly and promptly answered every one of them. I felt like we had someone who was committed to assure our experience in Africa would be something to remember our entire lives. She helped me anticipate what each family member would most enjoy and fit in so many special moments. The trip included one of our family proposing to his girlfriend. The arrangements to make it an amazing and touching evening for them was priceless. Our agent anticipated our needs, planned every detail and we never gave it a second thought if something was done, a reservation was made and the itinerary was what we wanted. Thank you for an extraordinary adventure. I know we will do business with her again and recommend her without hesitation.

The breathtaking beauty of each location was only matched by the wonderful people at the lodges where we stayed. The manager at the Manor House is the standard for how individuals overseeing hotels should be measured. he was kind, professional and anticipated our needs. The team at Treetops and Pioneer Camp will be remembered always. Everyone was genuinely interested in assuring we had great days no matter what were doing. Our guide for the entire trip was a rock star. An encyclopedia of animal knowledge, so well versed in how to find the best view for the animals we wanted to see. he is in a bunch of our pictures, he was like family. We are looking at pictures taken on the trip that truly are like you see in a magazine and it's all because our guide knew where to be and when to be there. We saw every animal we wanted to see and jaw dropping events - lions in trees, fighting, mating, caring for cubs, herds and dozens of creatures we never even knew existed. Truly, so much more than what we expected and our guide made it all happen. Unbelievable! We went to a school to drop off school supplies (okay, really soccer balls) and I will smile every time I think of those beautiful faces and their delight. Our agent and guide made it happen, awesome.

The service was very efficient. They recommended amazing trips and understood when it was too pricey and were able to assist with adjusting to my price range/ time.
The sossusvlei tour was incredible !! the tour guide was very good, every question I asked he was able to answer. he also made sure that I was being looked after with any food arrangements as I am vegetarian.
I was also given all the contacts for the tours/ if there was any problems and was very helpful.
All the transfers worked out well, and the accomodation was splendid.
