Memorable Safari with Furaha Tours and Safari
Just returned from an amazing safari in Tanzania with Furaha Tours and Safaris. From initial inquiry to last airport transfers everything was handled in a professional manner. Phil was very responsive and able to tailor a safari to fit my schedule and interests. He answered all my questions and was able to provide helpful additional information about visas and Covid testing. Visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and each park provided the opportunity to see different animals and habitats. Didas did an amazing job driving the challenging roads. Never felt rushed as one of his favorite phrases was polepole, polepole (slowly slowly) He has terrific eyesight and was able to spot animals from afar and move us into to position for just the perfect view and picture. We saw the Big 5 and so much more! Every day seemed to be better than the day before and it is impossible to pick just one highlight of the trip. Enjoyed staying in the lodges and at night you often heard the sounds of hyenas, lions or other animals. The meals were well prepared and each morning they provided a delicious picnic lunch as we left for another day of adventure. Felt well taken care of the entire time. With African Savannah Trekkers — dreams come true!
My husband and I did a private safari with Philomena's company in February 2021. Safari is a very expensive pleasure, we have been pursuing our dream for several years, so we were very afraid to make a mistake with the choice of the company. We wrote to Filomena on the recommendation of our friends, without even reading reviews about her company. At the same time, we signed off with two more companies. The price and route suggested by Filomena were the best. I asked a bunch of stupid questions and always got a polite answer throughout the day. Filomena, the only one who, after my letter that I have problems with the spine and I am a tourist with limited mobility, suggested changing the standard route and making an individual route for me to reduce the load on my back. It was a very correct decision! All our requests were granted. Our driver and guide was Elisante, he is a wonderful modest person, an excellent driver and a real hunter !!! He's passionate and it's cool! He doesn't speak much and that's great too, we felt private in the car. We had a personal space in which no one interfered. When we asked to tell us something, he happily talked to us, when we wanted only endless savannah, wind in the face and the Sun - only for the two of us - we had it. Airport pick up was great, First night was at Hhando Coffee Lodge - it's a chic place on the edge of the jungle .. Great service. Dinners and breakfasts on the terrace are great. Further, through the Ngorongoro viewpoint, we arrived at the Serengeti. Filomena advised two nights inside the park and this is also the only right decision. The roads are long and bad. My friends, the Serengeti is huge, it is endless !!!! It cannot be described, it can only be felt. Overnight in luxury tents..SHUHUDIA ADVENTURE CAMP was a great option. Philomena said, with my aching back, there is no need to sleep in the tents, she will think of something. And she put us in a great place. Great soft beds, good food, savanna next to your bed. Elisante found all the big five for us in 3 days. We didn't even ask where he was going and who he was looking for - we knew he would find someone for us. By the end of the trip, my back pain intensified (this is inevitable for a sick person) and Elisante drove me like a feather, slowly slowly crawling over every bump. Thank you very much for that.

The safari with our guide James was a once in a lifetime exsperience.
The communication with Paul (tour operator) was very friendly. He made all our wishes possible. When we arrived in Arusha, we even got a phenomenal upgrade for the accommodations for free. All the accommodations were so luxury like paradise.
Our guide James was perfect. He knows everything about animals and the national parks, furthermore he‘s a very good driver and got us out of every mud hole. We had nothing Thank you very much for this unforgettable adventure!

Amazing experience
We went private safari 4-days Serengeti and Ngorogoro. If i could do it one more time, i’d go only Serengeti, because you actually see everything you need to see there. Ngorogoro is beautiful by the nature but the animals you see are so far away.. Serengeti is huge park, so expect a long drive with no animals , but after you arrive to the right spot you realise it was worth the wait. We slept in camps that weren’t protected from the animals so during the night you stay in the tent making no noise because it’s dangerous! An amazing experience for me were the buffalos around our tents which filled me up with adrenaline. Thomas was amazing guide, he knows a lot of things but you gotta ask him and he’ll tell you everything! But you could do this 4 days program actually in 3 days.

Great experiance!
Everything was well managed. The food was great and the tour guide was very knowledgable, we saw all the type of animals living in the park. Toilets and shower available every day. Totally recommended.

Excellent service, great value!
My husband and I just returned from a 9-day trip to Uganda and we certainly wish we had more time. The country and the people are beautiful but what made the trip even more enjoyable for us was our tour guide Jeffrey from Matoke Tours. He is very knowledgeable, accommodating and has a great sunny personality! Since this is our first trip, we relied a lot on Jeffrey's expertise on how to best spend our short stay and what the local customs are. Overall, it was quite an enriching experience which wouldn't have been possible if we didn't have an excellent guide like Jeffrey.
We are also very pleased with the sales team, particularly Sven who has assisted us with the planning of the trip. We wanted to see many places in a limited amount of time, but Sven was able to create an itinerary for us that suited what we wanted and packed it with some of the most exciting activities possible given our short stay...
We are very happy and would definitely recommend Matoke Tours to our friends and family who plan to visit Uganda.

It was my first experience to tour Queen Elizabeth National Park. Karumuna safaris, my tour agent made it more wonderful beyond expectations.
Time management and site location was perfect. Good hospitality and professionalism of our tour guide with detailed explanation of the animals and places.
Can't wait to visit other parks with Karumuna safaris.

Best African Experience
We had one of our best experience. The safari was amazing. More than we expected. We had such a good guide provide us all the informations and knowledge about animals and nature. The accommodation in the parks was in one of the best places. We done this safari together with our 4 children and was very comfortable. It is amazing to see all those animals at their home. A chance that we are happy to leave it

Great trip to Amboseli and Tsavo
James has been extremely helpful and flexible to organize this 6 days safari in a very difficult time and at a very reasonable price. Our driver, Thoya, was also very flexible and did everything he could to meet our photographic requests, which resulted in great sightings, especially of the big tuskers. Full day drives in Amboseli and particularly in Tsavo East made a big difference. Accommodations were generally ok and the van was a good alternative to the Landcruiser, although it would probably have been challenging if it had rained. I will not hesitate to use Wildlife Sun Safaris again.

Wonderful, go for it!
We absolutely enjoyed our 3-Day shared tour to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The whole communication went smoothly, the driver and cook were very friendly and helpful, we were super lucky to spend the 3 days with great folks in one car! The whole experience was enhanced by the fact that we got to see loads of animals up close and there were very few tourists at the time. Definitely recommended!
