The highest mountain in Africa
Let me start by saying that…….I would not have made it to the top without one of my amazing team of Almighty Kilimanjaro. The rainforest, with its monkeys, birds and chameleons, the short tree, the moorland followed by the alpine desert and glaciers command respect and humility; Magnificent landscapes and volcanoes. Did I ever at any point want to give up? Absolutely not, but his encouragement is one of the sole reasons I finished the hike. That being said the entire experience was a memorable one. Cut off from everything except human relationships encouraging and supporting us as needed throughout the ascent. All over the days on the mountain our cook redoubled ingenuity to offer us delicious meals.
I cannot tell you how amazed I was at the whole experience. Almighty Kilimanjaro was amazing…I promise them I will come again. I highly recommend them

Suricata has GREAT people, offers great quality service, for a very competitive price
From the initial moments of planning our trip to the minute we were dropped off at the airport to return home, Suricata Safari was absolutely impeccable. To begin with, they clearly offer an excellent price in an environment that is incredibly competitive. Safaris are expensive by definition, but Hilary and his team will discuss your budget with you and present you with the options available so that you can have the trip you dreamed of. Hilary showed us a lot of flexibility in tailoring the trip to our needs, adding extra days or trimming unnecessary stops, allowing us to choose our own hotels in some cases, and even changing the itinerary to ensure that pre-history buffs like us could make a stop at the Olduvai Museum. As we planned our trip, Hilary made time to speak with us on video late in the night, and in general not 2 minutes would pass before a question on whatsapp was thoroughly answered.
The safari experience in itself was mind blowing—among the best we’ve done so far, and we’ve been around. The stops Suricata Safaris suggested were all spot-on. We saw lots and lots of animals and an incredible wealth of nature in general. The car is excellent and provides all the visibility you need to get the perfect experience. Like in a magic trick, lunch is served hot even after hours on the road. While tourists in other cars are eating cold sandwiches, you’re eating a warm, delicious home-made style food, followed by dessert and coffee. The hotels suggested by Suricata were all great (full disclosure: we did replace some of the hotels originally recommended; for example, we stayed in Sheraton Four Points in Arusha and Meliã Serengeti in the Serengeti Park).
A word about our extraordinary guide Ezekiel: the man is a superstar. What a fantastic, special human being. As we told him at the end of our trip, your safari guide becomes an integral part of your trip—he will spend most of the time during the trip with you. He’s a part of your group. For this reason, a guide can really make or break your trip. Well, Ezekiel made ours. He was the best company we could have hoped for. He’s appropriate, respectful, and well-spoken—in fact, he is an articulate speaker who is very knowledgeable about Africa and its fauna and flora, but also one who knows to cherish silence at times. He is astonishingly driven and hardworking, but has a sharp sense of humor. He went out of his way countless times to make sure we saw something or did something we wanted, and we finished the trip with the feeling that we gained a friend. Watching young, talented, hardworking men like Hilary and Ezekiel has got to make you hopeful and optimistic about the continent’s future.

Amazing trip!
Right choice and right decision i would say. Because it was really right decision to choose this agency. Tour manager George was answering all questions 24/7. He did his best to give us the best value for money. Our guide John tried his best to show us big five and we saw it

Highly recommend Katona Tours
We had an amazing 11 day safari with Katona tours.
From when i started planning this trip with Jackie of Katona over 1 year ago, she was very responsive and helpful in answering my emails and handling all my requests prior to travel. We landed in Entebbe Airport on 9th and were met by our guide Kenneth and headed to Murchisson Falls National Park for a 3 night stay, Queen Elizabeth National Park for 2 nights and finally did the Gorilla trek in Bwindi staying at Rushaga Gorilla lodge.
We added a day in Entebbe to visit Mabamba for a shoebill tour which also turned out to be a great idea, saw the shoebill for the first time.
The whole trip was flawless and Ken was very knowledgeable and all the accommodation facilities were really nice more than we expected.
Our experience was incredible and i would travel again with Katona tours. Do not hesitate to contact them for a memorable travel experience.

Lies after lies after lies. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I wish there was 0 star to give.. Burton- the person I dealt with is such a trickster you must avoid to deal with.
At first I thought he was very passionate and hardworking to match our budget to a trip to Serengeti as he offered lots of options and trying to meet our budget via email and whatsapp constantly.
I got a similar offer from another company but I wanted to pay back his time and effort and decided to go with him.
When we met his staff to finalize our deal they told us an extra charge of $300 which was never mentioned even when we asked him to confirm if the price he offered was the final price with no extra charge.
After we dropped his deal, he came up with a new offer that could benefit us especially to my Tanzanian friends and they liked his new offer so, I decided to give him a second chance. Up to this point I really thought he is just trying to make it work and hustle his life through and I always appreciate hard workers so I accepted his offer and that was the biggest mistake I made...
He changed his words again 10 hours before our trip. 'There is this and that, additional fee....'
I can't even... It makes me still furious and frustrating just thinking about it after a month now.
My friends couldn't afford the deal and it was very late for us to find a new tour company and we basically had to call and search all night and even the next morning as we must have started a tour the next day sue to our schedule. Luckily we found another company and the it was very pleasant but, we had to leave late in the morning and we basically wasted most of the morning.
I honestly think this is his work ethic, first offer something the client would want and close the deal and make them have no other choice and then tell them an additional charge at the very end.
LONG STORY SHORT, AVOID THIS COMPANY.
This is an honest review and 100% true and if you want to see if I am real or not, visit my instagram and ask @findingminwoo
Don't deal with this company or Burton.

good safari but could be better
We had a good trip but I remembered that daily driving distance was very loooong, also driving speed was not fast, and time spend on road was very long, espcially we experienced traffic on the way. First, we choose to have a 4wd landcruiser with a driver guide and had a good itinerary. Communication with Jong was great, all questions were answered straight forward. Payment was made easy in the Covid 19 season. Our vehicle was in good condition. The only thing is that everything was planned, but we spend daily is about 6 hours. There was one day we expereinced traffic in town also because of heavy raining, we got stuck in town and we had a almost 7 hours drive which affected our game drive in the afternoon, I remembered that clearly. The rough road condition in Masei Mara should be improved. The dust was a lot and we had to wear mask to cover our nose. We were told by Jong about the experience, but we did not expect that much, otherwise we could have book flights to masei mara.
Otherwise, everything else was okay. All meals were good (almost the same thing every time such as meat, soup, salad), our vehicle was clean all the time, our driver guide was nice and friendly to us, and most important that our accommodations were luxury and good. Every person surrounds us are friendly to us. We were happy to see a lot of animals. We saw big five and great rift valley. We loved to see the equator experiement also.
I would choose Sino Africa Safari again, but next time I will take flights for our transportation.

Great experience in Tanzanie ! This agence had been recommended to me by a friend and I don't regret it ! Very professional and serious and we had a very nice francophone guide.
