Thorough and flexible, customizing our trip and meeting our requests and needs.

Communication with Myler Africa safaris was great. Mr. Mugisha sent me several travel itineraries including different pricing ranges and lengths of trips. He was patient with me until I settled on the trip I wanted. The service I received from him and my guide was excellent! Value for money was very good; it was the best price I could find. Throughout my trip I could reliably reach someone in charge when they were needed (which was rare). And most importantly, the tour itself was phenomenal!! Our guide gave us recommendations that were sometimes outside of the itinerary based on our interests (eg. we loved the tea plantations, so he suggested a "crop to cup" tour and we loved it! He was also straight forward about pricing etc so there was never any guessing for these extra things). The guide was fun, polite, professional, and knowledgeable. We truly had a great time, and booking was easy. Yes, it was concerning at first to send money but I was sent the business licence and reassured all along the way, in addition to continued communication. Our guide was Ugandan and working on his Kinyarwanda, so naturally having a Rwandan guide would likely make some aspects smoother, but I truly appreciated how much effort he put in for us.

Land game runs disappointing but boat ride amazing. I’ve never seen so many hippos and elephant families. You can get quite close as you are on the water.

I lived in Kenya and spent time in Southern Africa and I can honestly say Uganda exceeded my hopes. It is currently the only country where you can almost definitely see chimps, gorillas and “the big five” (elephant, rhinos, buffalo, lions and leopards ). Murchison Falls was my favorite park but each had something to offer. QE river boat ride was fantastic and of course seeing chimps and gorillas was a life dream. You must be reasonably fit for gorilla trek due to altitude and steep terrain. People were wonderful, lodges and service were excellent. Plus small tour companies so you can travel just with yourselves (couple or even single) without breaking the bank. I would recommend Uganda to anyone interested in a safari (unless you want ultra luxury ). I’m going back.

The site is near Johannesburg, during the trip the tour guide gives interesting inormation on south african culture. Is amazing to see the animals in the wild... great landskape! It's all about luck if you want to see your favorite animals!
