We had a safari to Kenya in 2009, the safari was good. Although we did it see many animals but the cost was low, hotel was good and outr Chinese tour guide was good also. I remembered that I lost my phone under my bed, but the tour guide and the company contacted the hotel and send it to me later. Thank you. Also, it was very raining and my friend got cold because no cloth. The company buy us cloth and did not charge us. I felt very safe and comfortable to travel with them. Absolutely amazing, great value for money, highly recommended!
We went for a 4 day group safari with Meru Slopes at the beginning in February 2021. We chose to explore the 3 most famous parks: Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Meru Slopes offer best price and value for money. Our guide Jacob and cook Richard were both friendly, funny, professional and made us fell like one big family. We were other first the leave the camp site and last to come back.
Special thanks to our driver Jacob, who went extra mile to get us very close to every animal and worked very hard to ensure we get to see everything we wanted. He made us discovering the farthest part of parks, meeting wildest animal and thanks to his knowledge and experience we saw the Big Five plus many more animals. Jacob were patient and answered every question we had about animals and landscape. He made us feel safe and comfortable throughout and was the key to us having such a great and life changing experience.
Big thanks for our cook Richard who cooked delicious food for us and surprise us with bottle of wine each evening. Food was varied and fresh. There was always plenty of food and drinks. We were never hungry or thirsty. Meru Slopes will work with any dietary requirements you have.
The jeep vehicle had charges for phone and batteries. Car was very comfortable, spacious and well maintained. The tents, mattresses and sleeping bags were clean. All the equipment were perfect.
We also want to thank you Geoffrey and Emmanueli for their professionalism and perfect organisation. It started with fast and clear communication regarding the trip and what it entailed. Geofrey always responded in a matter of hours and answered all our questions. They arrange all transfer for us, booked 2 nights in very nice hotel - Venice Arusha and also booked for us bus tickets (all included in safari price). Driver were waiting for us when we arrive in Arusha airport and most importantly in early morning to take us to bus station the day after safari. They went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable and stress free.

breathtaking trip
My friend and I just finished a 3 day safari, and it was phenomenal! We were able to get extremely close to the animals - quite close to the pet giraffes and lions on a number of occasions. We are able to see all of the Big 5 animals, including the elusive black rhino in the crater. Our guide Francisco was able to achieve all of our goals and was patient with us as we tried to get the perfect shot. Our vehicle was very comfortable and clean. This was our first African safari, and I have to say I'm worried about future safaris as the bar was so high on this one! lelaa's tours have knocked this one out of the park and will be hard to get over.

Once in a lifetime experience!
We booked a trip to Tanzania for January 2020, with the main objective to go in a safari. After reading the reviews, we concluded that the best option was Wakanda Safari with the "5 days budget safari trip", so we would have enough time to enjoy the parks.
We landed in Arusha city one day before the trip start and Bartho, the owner of the company, picked us up from the airport. We spent the first night at Arusha tourist inn, which is a nice accomodation for every tourist in transit. During the trip we slept 2 night in a budget lodge and 2 nights camping (what an experince!!! My personal favourite was the night spend in Ngorongoro, the view was the best!)
The next day we met our driver Jackson and our chef Dulla. We traveled with 4 more people in the car: a smart belgian, a cool american and 2 nice swedes.
Our guide-driver Jackson knew the best places to spot animals, even the rarest ones such as cheetas and leopards; he was trully amazing as he saw the animals from far distance, without binocculars!! He explained a lot of interesting things about wildlife so the whole car ride was a pleasure. He gave us the time to admire the animals and the surroundings without rushing. Besides being an excelent driver, Jsckson did his best to spot the Big 5, so a big thank you to him! Also, a nice surprise for us was that it was baby season :).
Unlike other tourists who were eating sandwiches, we always had tasty cooked food( rice, meat, vegetables). Dulla is an amazing chef, we loved his dishes and appreciate his efforts as we always had at least one main dish and always dessert and fresh fruits. Imagine cooking pie and fresh bread in the middle of the park, fantastic!
Last but no least, Bartho was very responsive and helpful. He went with us to exchange money and gave us nice tips about where to eat ( try Kitamu coffe, it was Bartho's recoomandation and it's a really nice place with good food.You should try the fresh smoothies!) and what to do in the 2 days spend in Arusha. He also gave us a ride back to the airport and even helped us renting a car for Zanzibar.
If you don't know what to choose, we highly recommend Wakanda Safari! The team is amazing and you will surely have an amazing experince.

Amboseli park and Kibo camp
This was my first time visiting Amboseli, and my first time staying at a luxury camp (Kibo) with Bencia. I absolutely loved Kibo!! Amazing food and very comfortable in every sense. Our game drives were great, with George as driver/guide who is amazing!! We also got lucky with the weather and were able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro every day! The night sky/stars were also the best I’ve ever seen in Kenya. We visited a Maasai tribe nearby as well. Highly recommend the entire experience. This was also an appropriate amount of time to spend at this park - I wouldn’t recommend more days unless you wanted more time to relax at the beautiful Kibo camp, use their pool, etc.

A lifetime experience
Our safari was just amazing from day one thanks to the company manager Phil and our guide Didas.
Phil’s response time was always quick and he helped us to adjust our itinerary without any problems.
Didas is the best guide ever! He made our trip unforgettable. Patient, funny and always finding the best spots to see animals. And an AMAZING driver.
We took a 4-day safari and visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara.
Accommodation in lodges was comfortable. Especially the Marera Valley lodge is a lovely place to relax after a long day in a car.
Also the camp in Serengeti NP on our second night was a great experience. We were lucky to be the only guests in the camp and we spent the night in the middle of the park listening to lions roaring very close :)
Overall the organization of our trip was great. Phil was in touch with us during the safari, making sure all was going smoothly.
