Shadows of Africa provided us with a fantastic and marvelous adventure!
My husband planned our trip to Africa with Jake. Jake was available, helpful and knowledgeable about everything we wanted to know about and do in Africa. We went to Rwanda first where we did a gorilla trek and visited the golden monkeys. Our experience there with Kenneth as our guide/driver was absolutely phenomenal in every way. Then we flew to Tanzania where we visited Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Assad was our first contact in Tanzania. He held up a sign for us at the airport and delivered us to our first hotel. He was creative, responsible and nice to us. Then we met Dickson, who was an amazing guide/driver. He was enthusiastic, experienced and capable. He explained so many aspects of animal life to us, and told us all kinds of things about the people and culture in Africa. He was passionate about his work, and could even sometimes predict animal behavior. We were able to see lions, zebras, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, gazelles, jackals, hippos, several antelope species, warthogs, buffalo, wildebeests, hyenas, a crocodile, dung beetles, turtles, a snake called a puff adder, chameleons, ostriches, flamingos and many other bird species, a monitor lizard, and more. At the end of our trip, we spent one night at the Maasai Lodge in Arusha. This was a very interesting and valuable part of our trip! We highly highly recommend the Shadows of Africa organization and the people who helped us. They were available, caring and professional. Everything went well and they communicated extremely well. The food was delicious and all of the accommodations worked out well.

Ngoni is organized and provides excellent service.
We loved our guides Elias and Stanley. They are both knowledgeable and personable. The trip was well organized and Ngoni was flexible when we wanted to make small changes to the daily itinerary. We had fantastic bird and primate photography throughout the trip.

The Epitome of Quality over Quantity.
I went on a 5 day Serengeti camping safari during the last week of January 2022. It took me a while to pick a Safari company but finally settled on Serengeti Wakanda. They had good reviews and I figured the value was great compared to the other Safaris I had been seeing so I thought to myself, Eh, What the hell. Why Not. I reached out to Wakanda and was instantly impressed. First off, Let's talk about the owner; Bartho. He reached out to me personally and answered any and all question I shot his way, and there were quite a few. He is an awesome guy, professional, fun, polite. Overall. 5 Star dude. He even took it upon himself to set up a meeting with me after my Safari had concluded as he wanted to meet me personally, I'm not sure if that's because I was special or because he takes it upon himself to meet everyone his company takes out. Either way, it was great.
If I could describe my entire experience out on my Safari in one word, it would be Perfect. I must say however, that most of the reasons it was perfect was because of variables that would be different for everyone who goes out. The luck we had with the animals, the group of people I was randomly put with on my Safari, The driver and cook we got randomly paired with, the fact I was lucky enough to have my itinerary modified for an extra day on the Serengeti, the weather, and many other facts that all came together to make the Experience perfect. These are all variables that differ from time to time, The one constant that I can identify that helped make the trip as good as it was, is the company itself: Serengeti Wakanda. When I was out on the Safari, we spoke with a few other Safaris we ended up camping alongside. Every single time I spoke with other people I kinda looked away and the end of the conversation thanking the gods I randomly selected Wakanda. Some other companies cram more people than are comfortable in the vehicles, some companies have more roguish Safari behavior, other companies have a lot of up charges they don't mention, other companies don't get home cooked freshly made meals cooked by a personal safari chef 3 times a day, (they get small meal boxes) the list goes on and on of stories and things about issues other companies have that Wakanda just didn't. I got supremely lucky on my trip, but I owe most of it to Wakanda for allowing the luck to come to fruition. I would recommend this company to everyone and anyone looking to take a Safari. Bartho very heavily sticks to the Quality over Quantity formula and I hope to the gods that as his company inevitably continues to grow in both size and success, that he maintains that mentality.

Safari in which we have not even dreamed.
Amazing adventure with guide Hoza and chef Isaac. We are delighted. Full professionalism. Hoza knows and likes his job and the chef Isaac prepares great and huge meals.
Contact before the trip with Evelyn is also exemplary.
We were two people for 5 days. It was wonderful. We saw more than we expected. We recommend it with a clear conscience. Get Hoza and Isaac. Guarantee of quality.

Excellent 3 Day Mount Meru Trek
our three day Trek to Mount Meru with African Wanderlust was a memorable experience.
Everyone was very accommodating, friendly and assisted us through the entire trip. The meals were excellent and the trip wonderfully organised. The hike up to the summit is definitely not one of the easiest ones however the guides are very professional, taking good care of you and support you where they can. My husband faced some challenges during the summit night due to health problems, but the team assigned someone to ensure he safely reached the summit.
During briefing we noted to have missed some of the hiking gears but Robert rented to us for a friendly costs.
The service you get for the price is excellent and definitely worth the money. We are very grateful to have met you and to have shared lots of funny stories. Special thanks to the entire Trekking team.

Adventure of a lifetime
This was one of my most beautiful experiences in my lifetime so far and I can wholeheartedly recommend Nelson and his team. Everything was extremely professional, from the booking throughout the entire safari. I am quite sure this is the best value for money safari in all of Tanzania. If you are hesitant, just go for it!
From the point I was picked up at the airport, I felt incredibly welcome at Nelson‘s hostel. Iddy set up a beautiful bonfire at night, Mama Afrika cooked the most delicious meals and I met many fellow travelers as we enjoyed the dinner together.
Our 4-day safari was just perfect, I still cannot believe how much we saw in such short amount of time. Tarangire, Ngoro Ngoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara. We saw so many animals so up close. Big thanks to the best driver George who always went the extra mile for us to see the animals from the best angle❤️ and our chef Salehe who cooked delicious meals and always catered to us vegetarians. Camping underneath the African night sky was truly a once in a lifetime experience even though I had never camped before. I wouldn't want it any other way.
I was traveling alone but had so much fun and made new friends in our lovely safari group.
Thank You so much guys for this unforgettable experience!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Overall great value for money. The team even helped me with getting my PCR test, picking me up and taking me to the hospital on my return.

AWESOME!!!
My wife and i were searching for a affordable price to book for out trip to get to the Safari! Lord and behold we found an amazing company called…
Creator explorer. We started communicating with Emanuel instantly letting him know what we wanted to see and do during this 1st experience to the world most famous Safari
. Emanuel was very attentive and listened to our goals and what we wanted out of this tour. Emanuel is one of the most honest person any one who reach out to him will totally agree…he’s a 1 of a kind! Just by us requesting our goals in this incredible adventure for our 1st time. Emanuel made it all happen for us and the other couples that was travelling with us on the tour and journey to the
Safari and other sights. Our tour guide Malisa was splendid and a Fantastic driver…he took so much time out during our tour explaining educating us about almost every animal purpose and what the eat and do for survival in the Safari.
These two are just Spectacular. In additional to Emanuel & Malisa we also had a fabulous personal Chef that traveled with us and made some delicious 3 course meals for us all each day we were there…he took time out and asked us all what we would like him to make for us that was not on the daily menu and if any of us requested something he would gladly make it and surprised us with it…it was just so amazing. This is and will be my most memorable trip and tour ever!!!
