Daniel (Meektrails) is the best !
Daniel (Meekrails) is the best, we spent 1 week with him and he arranged everything. On safari in Massai Mara he knows how to spot animals like no other, nothing is too much for him. Always punctual to the appointment. You can ask Daniel whatever you want, he will do it with great pleasure.
We will go back in June 2022 and have already booked him, no one else for us, he gives you an unforgettable beautiful and safe holiday, we came into contact with him by reading the excellent reviews, so it was exciting for us to wait . We don't give much reviews, but this one is really recommend to people who travel to Kenya and want to book an unforgettable safari and much more....

Good safari
We had a 3 day safari in Tarangire, Ngorongo and Manyara lake and it was great. We saw lots of animals and Waldon (our driver) answered all our questions.
Food was also OK and accommodation in Kizumba camp was very nice, people there was very friendly and the tent was huge with a very comfortable bed.

Very accommodative and responsive.
Highly recommend Crater Explorers. Seamless. Very good tour. Saw more animals than I thought possible! Emanuel was a great guide, and was very responsive and helpful. For example, when I landed in Tanzania, I needed cash in USD to pay for my visa into the country, and the machines at the airport were broken. Emanuel was able to get me cash to pay for my visa, and I paid him back online. when no authorities at the airport could have helped me. Could not have had a better experience than with Crater Explorers!

Outstanding service from start to finish
Pendo acted as our LKA liaison and the experience was efficient, professional and worry free. She made numerous suggestions and welcomed our own. This lead to an outstanding adventure where everything that could go wrong did not. Our first day was a hike beginning at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Marangu Gate, up five miles to Mandara Hut and then back down. Our guide, Abdi, had summited many times but was still patient and helpful for our scaled back excursion. He pointed out many of the plants and animals which otherwise would have been missed.
Gilbert took over guiding for the next several days. At our first stop we stood awestruck atop the Ngorongoro crater. From there we entered Serengeti National Park and spent four days in a nature coma. The park works so well because it is a closed system. Nobody can permanently reside in the park and all vehicles follow strict protocols staying on roads and keeping passengers inside. This results in very close contact with elephants, lions, monkeys, and water buffalo to name a few. The accommodations at Embalakai Masai camp were monumental, combining culture, wildlife and comfort. Our last several days were spent in Zanzibar. A walk through Stone Town is a must. Four days at the Z Hotel ended a journey which to this day we are still processing. Lion King exceeded all expectations. Their Five Star ratings are legit.

An eye for the African Savannah. Excellent.
We went on a dream two days Tsavo East Safari from Diani Beach with Afrika Kenya Safari. Our professional and knowledgeable guide Abdul picked us from our Hotel as we headed to Tsavo. The Safari Jeep was very comfortable with a pop up roof for game viewing. We got to Tsavo through the Bachuma gate. Abdul had an eye for the big cats and the Red Elephants
This was the Christmas holiday that my family and i had been dreaming of. We were booked at the luxurious Ashnil Aruba lodge which was top notch. Afrika Kenya Safari gave us a memorable Safari. We highly recommend them. Our guide Abdul was the best. We will do another Safari soon.

Professional services amazing experience
We choose a 3 days safari in Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti park and we have amazing safari ! We saw the big Five and everybody of my friends is bery excitement!

Excellent service
The tour was amazing. I did a 5 day tour in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara and Tarangire, the guide was knowledgeable about animals and we managed to see the big 5. I recommend Lion King adventures.

African Polecat is the tops for safari in Tanzania!
Our group opted for the 2 day safari- to Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. From start to finish, the service was professional and customizable. They sent a driver to pick us up at the Kilimanjaro airport and bring us to Arusha so we would be ready to start the safari early the next morning- at least a 4 hour round trip for the driver! Accommodations in Arusha were comfortable, in a safe enough area, and within walking distance to shops and food options. John, our Polecat ground-ops representative, took care to make sure we had everything we needed- including (and most importantly!) arranging for us to get Covid testing done, which we needed to be able to travel the day after the safari ended. This was above and beyond, and he was able to make this happen for us with very short notice. He also stocked the safari vehicle with plenty of water- which we found out was a necessity because the ride gets very hot and dusty in the park. (Make sure to pack sunscreen and dress for the heat!)
Our safari guide, Yusef, picked us up the next morning and took us to Lake Manyara. We saw so many different animals from a very close range- elephants, giraffes, monkeys (many different types), water Buffalo, zebras, and some interesting birds (to name a few). The only thing we missed were the tree-climbing lions. (Pro tip- ask your guide to start your day very early in the morning, if possible, to have a better chance of seeing the lions.) We opted to upgrade our experience and stay in a lodge for the overnight, and it was a very cute little property with friendly staff and a swimming pool as well. That night, Yusef took us to a local restaurant at our request- rather than eating at the lodge, as planned. (Customizable service, as mentioned!) We were very grateful for his flexibility on this!
The following morning, we got up super early (again, Yusef being so flexible with our requests!), to start our drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. We were one of the first groups through the gate, and it paid off with all the animals we got to see and experience within the crater! We saw everything from families of lions, to elephants, wildebeests, zebras, flamingos, jackals, warthogs, hippos, rhinos, cranes, and more! We had a nice picnic lunch by the hippo pool, where we could also buy ice cream, coffee, beer and other snacks (a nice surprise treat!).
Not enough can be said about our safari guide, Yusef! He was so knowledgeable on the parks and the animals, and also taught us so much about the African tribal culture and the history of the Africa nations. We learned so much and gained a lifelong friend in Yusef!
10/10 would recommend African Polecat Safaris for your Tanzanian safari! Book with them, request Yusef, and know you are in good hands!
