5* from beginning to the end!
At the beginning i wasn't sure if a 3000km SOLO trip through Namibia was the right thing for me.
But already at the first contact with Great Explorations Namibia i no longer had this fear and i felt ready for this adventure.
My contact person was Anja. Out of several tour providers i contacted on safari booking she was the one with the quickest and most detailed response. Anja is very uncomplicated and organized everything really fast in close contact with me.
When i arrived in Namibia she was waiting for me at the car rental and gave me a folder with the most important informations etc. so the journey could start carefree.
Now i'm at the end of my 14 day adventure. I can say i couldn't have a better Namibia experience!! A perfect route and the accommodations also exceeded my expectations by far. Even if Anja offered me that I could contact her at any time if there were any problems, it didn't come to that because the trip was simply perfect and I enjoyed every second here. A true 5 star experience, they live up to their name; GREAT EXPLORATIONS NAMIBIA!

A Mixed Experience
The company was easy to communicate with before the tour, and they met me on time. The price was competitive and that’s what I cared for most. This was my first safari and overall I loved getting close to the animals. The driver got us right up to some lions and I could hardly believe that we were just next to them! The negative is the guide watched a lot of videos on his phone when I wish he could have told me about the animals.

What an unforgettable experience!
We did the six day Kenya Highlights safari trip starting with Samburu, Lake Nakuru and to finish the Masai Mara.
Everything was really great, but what truly made our trip amazing was Peter, our guide ! We were so lucky to have him! He was so knowledgeable about the animals and the savanna! He thought us a lot about the plants and the history of Kenya. He was able to answer all of our questions and it was truly interesting to hear all about this magical place.
We saw so many animals and had a great time.
The organization with David beforehand was really easy and smooth, he was able to answer all our questions and assist us throughout the whole planning process.
Really an incredible experience that will last a lifetime !

A wonderful day in Pilanesberg!
We had a wonderful experience in Pilanesberg. The day started early as we were picked up at home in Johannesburg and taken to the national park. It was a quiet day in the park, but we got very close to elephants, zebras and different impalas, and saw a few hippos, rhinos and giraffes from a distance. Sadly we did not see any big cats, as they are a bit difficult to spot, but we were very happy with what we saw.
The communication before hand was good, excellent service, our guide had a lot of knowledge, and definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!

Satisfied with their services
Our group has 3 to 4 jeeps. The review is based on my experience. Overall services is good. The drivers are good. Their guides didn't explain much about places as compare to guides from other company that I saw. Daily start time should be more punctual. Daily packed meal can be improved, chicken is dry and plain.

Great communication and upfront about all involved. Was very smooth process
We booked our safari with unscripted safaris and communicated with Lewis. Lewis was very responsive and got back to us quickly, the package was perfect, we went for a private tour in the land cruiser and we are very happy we made this decision. The land cruiser looked brand new, was super clean and very comfortable and being on our own allowed us to have a more personal tour, asking our guide Emmanuel whatever we wanted to know. The Safari itself exceeded all our expectations, saying it was amazing is an understatement. We saw everything we wanted to and more (pride of lions at 6am with a zebra they had just hunted). Our accommodation at lake Nakuru was particularly nice and we wish we could have stayed longer.
A special thank you to Emmanuel our guide, he was super knowledgeable about not only the parks and animals but the community and Kenya as a whole. Emmanuel answered every question we asked, he clearly has a genuine love of animals and Kenya and made our trip very special. Emmanuel went out of his way for us to see all the parks have to offer and he seemed to get to an area at the right time to see something special. Thank you very much Emmanuel!
