Let's organize 2022 safari trip!
One of the best travel experiences we've had! The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they helped us make the most out of our safari. The food and lodgings were excellent. The location was ideal for gaming viewing. The guides were great. The price was reasonable, particularly compared to other comparable options. The vehicle was very confortable.

Serengeti smile made everything possible for me. I never imagined that I will find a tour operator at that moment because it’s just a day before my flight to Arusha. And Serengeti smile made it possible for me to experience African safari which I’ve been dreaming of for years. I will never regret booking with them. Frank was very helpful and very clear with itinerary and informing me even with a small change . Very transparent. And for Champion as my tourist guide, he is very very good. Feel the wild animals in Africa.
There was no major difficulty in preparing for my first trip to Africa with sufficient advance guidance from this travel agency.
The safari was very informative with Peter's ample explanation.
The hotel restaurant was well served without any problems for Koreans to eat.

Godwin our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and spoke great English.
We had a great experience with Serengeti Smile. From the first point of contact the communication was great, and leading up to the trip too.
The pick-up location and time was on time and professional.
We toured the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Godwin our guide was very knowledgeable on the areas and communicated with other guides from different companies inside the parks. They all work together to see as many animals as possible.
Frank tailored our wish list specific to us and emailed multiple options for us to choose. I also then asked to change days and add a day trip to Kilimanjaro which was not an issue at all. We made contact with Frank about 2 months prior to our dates in Tanzania.
It was a fantastic trip and hassle free with Serengeti Smile.
I would absolutely recommend Serengeti Smile.

Great safari experience!
Very well organised safari from the beginning to the end. Great staff - manager, guide/driver and sheff. We really enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We chose the camping option, so we were provided with tents and sleeping bags. I would definitely recommend this provider.

Wonderful Experience… go for it!!!
I’ve always wanted to tick a safari of my bucket list, but didn’t think I would be overly into it. But I was pleasantly surprised this safari was awesome and I loved it. The amount of animals I saw far exceeded my expectations and our guide Tony was great at finding them and giving us interesting information on them. Tony was a really nice man, and his efforts to make sure we got the most out of the experience were much appreciated. Apart from Rhinos ( which weren’t in the parks we went to), we saw everything we could see, and felt like a National Geographic photographer even just using our phones. The additional river boat cruise we had on our 3 day safari to Mikumi and Selous National Park. I highly recommend Shammah Wonder Safari.

Terrible roads and service
While the ranch is supposed to have a good variety of wildlife including rhinos, we went on New Year’s Eve and we’re thoroughly disappointed.
There were no guides as they were on vacation despite it being purportedly a high season. We bought a map for KES 1500 since we could not a guide, but it is extremely difficult to follow given unmarked roads.
The roads are impassable and the stafff are not helpful. We spent two hours looking for a way to cross past the swampy area and despite seeking direction from four staff members, we ended up in the same spot from different directions and had to eventually give up the effort!
One would have expected better guidance including warnings on tricky roads etc.
We did see some rhinos but were very underwhelmed by the seeming lack of knowledge of the lay of the land and even customer service orientation.
We got some perfunctory apologies and were on our way to nurse disappointment especially for the birthday girl who had to wake up early in vain.
The ranch needs to step up its game. Otherwise please consider Ol Pejeta instead.
