Laughter
5/5

For the trek, our guide, was so important for us the last night, guiding us in the dark and bringing our water bottles to the top. We couldnt have made it without him. All the meals we had on the mountain were really good (they were diversified and there was a lot of food).

About the safari, it was incredible! We chose Middle range safari and were not disappointed at all, considering the camping sites are really in the middle of the wildlife! Our guide, was excellent and he is such a good driver (we always felt secure, no matter the road condition). He knows so many things about the wildlife and East Africa and he was always eager to give us informations. He was also concerned by our needs and was able to show us everything that we wanted to see. I would recommend him to anyone. We also had an excellent cook, Markus, who, each day, managed to make small miracles for us (he made me a cake for my birthday in the middle of the Serengeti!). We had such a good time with them!

About the car, the communication before and after the trek/safari, the price, etc., everything was perfect. I recommend Hekima Safaris East Africa to anyone who wants to make a good trip

One of the best weeks of my life!
5/5

Heaven was recommended to me by a friend who had been on a safari with him earlier in 2020, and she was absolutely right! Heaven is the guide in Africa and his partner Pieter handles the planning and itineraries. Pieter tailored our trip to our time frame and interests. The price is expensive but this was the best week of my life and worth every single penny.

Since we were travelling in the middle of the pandemic we were super concerned about coordinating Covid tests before we left the country. Pieter worked that out for us and the execution on the ground was perfect. Seeing the hospital in Karatu turned out to be a really cool part of the trip! Heaven in Africa only does private groups, so we were not with anyone else in our vehicle.

We flew into and out of Arusha. Our itinerary was Tarangire Park one day, Ngorongoro Crater one day then 2 nights in the Serengeti at a migration camp (6 nights, 7 days). Everything was seamless and wonderful and too much to write in a review. Heaven met us at the airport and was delightful the entire trip. Of course the animals were amazing, but so was Heaven. We were provided with a hot meal and a glass of wine every day for lunch. The Land Cruiser is brand new and has huge windows (not all of them do) and Heaven is an amazing driver.

The accommodations were very nice--we paid for the mid-range. All of the rooms were clean and the service was great; the food was really good. The migration camp was a wonderful surprise--attached bathroom, universal plug and full sized beds. We were so early in the season (the camp had only been open a week) that the wifi was not set up yet, but it was nice to be disconnected for 2 days. Being on the Serengeti is not to be missed.

We also went to an orphanage in Arusha. This was one of the top highlights of our trip. We stopped at a local market to bring and was given an explanation and tour by Mr. Moody, the man who has run the orphanage for decades. The only thing I would change is that I would skip the visit to a Masaai village (it felt very staged; maybe another tribe would be better) and I would extend my trip to 10 days!!

I cannot recommend Heaven in Africa enough! Heaven and Pieter did everything they could to give us an amazing experience and it was truly the tip of a lifetime.

Hakunamatata!
5/5

Pole Pole. I took this and all the other attitudes towards life with me from my trip in Tanzania. I hardly had the time and nerve to take care of such a profound and complex undertaking and yet I really wanted to escape the winter, go on a trip and climb the highest mountain in Africa. Working with geoDiscovery Tours made it really easy! And the plan worked perfectly: 3 weeks in Tanzania only me, without friends but in the best of hands. With Abraham's group, I was first initiated into the culture, the food, the language, the history and the art. Every different wish was granted to me, e.g. a visit to the stall market to see the people in Arusha. In addition, a great hotel was booked through that I was also very happy! Everything was perfectly organized, the group porter, guide, cook, waiter went up Mt. Meru for 4 days and then 6 days via the Marangu route to Kili. Thanks to the team who looked after and fed me well, I was strong and motivated enough. It was a lot of fun with the group, we ate together, laughed, learned from each other and sang. And they have surprised me again and again! At my request, a day safari could also be booked without any problems (modular principle). In the end I was brought to the airport for my onward journey, and even then, when I still had my problems with the return flight, etc. Abraham (Arusha) and Kolay (Germany) were there to help me. I can only recommend it, especially since it is not allowed to climb Kili without a team. Asante geoDiscovery Tours!

To go on safari with Bluecrane is a wonderful experience!
5/5

I truly enjoyed every minute of this safari with Bluecrane. They answered every query I had before the tour and even made an appointment for us to have our Covid test. The vehicle was extra comfortable because our group was smaller than usual. The tour itinerary ensured many exciting visits and beautiful scenery along the 2 800 km that we travelled and I fell in love with the wide open spaces and the people of Namibia. The highlight to me was our encounters with wild life at Okojima, Etosha and in Damaraland. But all credit must go to the two staff members who welcomed us and made sure that our every need was met every day. They made us feel at home and it felt as if we were touring with old friends. Thank you Me-Gusto and Evefrans for the grand meals end comfy beds and all the things you taught us about the people and the animals and the geology of your beautiful country.
Tip: It can be quite hot in the desert during March.

Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro private safari
5/5

We organised a private tour to three parks through Lion King and were very much satisfied. First, they were very responsive in helpful as we organised the trip - offering us a number of options and quickly adapting when our flights changed at relatively short notice. They were also excellent in their communication, providing a detailed itinerary and info on accomodation, transport, F&B and practicalities. As for the safari itself, we were impressed with the quality of the accomodation, the vehicle, and service. Our guide - Gilbert - was thoroughly polite and professional, providing an excellent service as well as being very knowledgeable about the parks, animals, and all sorts of other questions that we had. Overall, an excellent trip and a safari operator that I would happily recommend.

5/5

Before we went to Kenya, we had been consulting with Jong over several months to plan our dreamed safari. He was so nice and responsive to all of our demands. Our safari was very succesful because we saw all kinds of birds and animals. We took a lot of nice pictures. We wouldn't hesitate to go with Sino Africa Safari again to Tanzania next time.

Amazing Safari Experience
5/5

Communication & Payment
The communication way easy and really straight forward. The offer we received was in a timely manner and it was the best price range per day for the type of Safari that we did - Private Safari with Lodges. Payment method was flexible which was especially important during those uncertain Covid times.
Safety
We felt safe and sound all the way! Our guide was really experienced driver, never speeded and he overcame all challenges along the road. We saw a lot of distressed cars on our way but our car and driver were strong and safe. All the lodges that we stayed put extra attention on safety and we even had on few place room escorts in the late hours after dinner. Ok I must say, you are in the wild not in the Zoo so you will hear wild animals during the night but do not worry you are safe and sound, just enjoy those extraordinary moments!
Lodges / Services & Food
The lodges we stayed were amazing! We were most impressed with Central Serengeti but all the lodges were very nice, clean and the personal was very caring, friendly and welcoming. Almost everything was taken care for us and we had to only have a good time. The food on most places was extremely tasty with a lot of variety (especially the Masai lamb meat). In most lodges the cook directly approaches the guest to ensure everyone is happy!
Guide / Game drives
Driving skills excellent, social skills even better! Our guide was very well informed, but he was able to sense the mood and he did not overwhelm us with information. He left us enjoy the ride & chill and when we were in the mood, he was giving us crash course in Swahili. The guide was all the time well informed about the road quality, the animals ahead and the eyesight of this man was just amazing! We called him "Super Vision" as he can spot a leopard from 100 km (ok I might be overstating but you get my point). We saw the “big 5” and many more
