Magnificent, profound trip made possible by amazing TCS owners, guides and drivers!
5/5

TCS helped LJ, MJ & DJ accomplish an ambitious, jam-packed itinerary - accommodating all of our interests into a magnificent, thrill-of-a-lifetime trip. Cousins Noah and Leslie were our expert drivers/guides around Arusha, our home base in between safari drives and private trips to Dar-es-Salaam and Mbeya. Owners Brenda & Kakasii were top-notch in assisting with all of the TZ in-country flights and navigations! Our First Safari: Great Rift Valley flyover from Arusha to the remote Heritage Camp to see the Great Migration at the Mara River. Expert Guide Victor picked us up at Kogatende Airstrip and away we went, including 2 migration crossings in 2 days! He had fantastic radio communication w/fellow guides and "intuitive expertise," locating animals in remote locations after morning kills: a pride of lions resting on rocks, a lone leopard up in a tree, a weary cheetah with extended full belly within close site of vultures fighting and feeding off the carcass. Victor was amazing, sharing all of our joy and excitement for animal and bird sitings! Our second drive was led by kind, wise Guide Joseph, equally adept at finding animals and birds. This intermediate birder added over 75 TZ birds to her life list as well as seeing the 'Big Five'! Excursions with Joseph: Oldupai Gorge Museum visit, including a drive down to see the actual site of the Leakey's archealogical dig; drive out to Shifting Sands; drive into Ngorongoro Crater and an added drive to Tarangire National Park, graciously arranged by Brenda. While at our accommodations in Ngorongoro Conservation Area at the hillside Tortilis Camp nestled amongst Maasai villages, we were treated to song and dance by the whole staff. The warm TZ people at Heritage, Tortilis and TCS made our experience so rewarding and enriched our lives with their expertise in animals, birds, geology, culture and life!!!

Knowledgeable and kind; anticipated our needs; happily worked to meet our expectations.
5/5

Our original booking was interrupted by the pandemic. Rescheduling was easy due to helpful and flexible staff. Our guide, Joseph, was a real pleasure to spend the week with. He identified what we hoped to see and managed to often be the first vehicle to arrive when he heard over the CB about a lion (or rhino or hippo) sighting. We asked so many questions and he answered each with patience, even when we asked repeatedly (now what kind of bird is that again?). Joseph was great with our kids, always had a few extra blankets when we got cold, and got us up close and personal with some of the most beautiful animals imaginable. We wanted a trip that the family would remember and we go it. Thank you Tanzania Choice Safaris.

Great experience from start to finish
5/5

Tanzania Choice arranged a safari for our party of four, two of whom were making their first visit to Africa. Brenda picked out a great itinerary to maximize what we could see in the four days we had available. Our guide Leslie quickly identified our various interests and made sure we got to experience everything we wished to. It's not an easy thing to find the right pace, but he did a fantastic job of lingering at the right places while still giving us full coverage of the parks. The lodging and food were also excellent. We especially loved the lodge that Brenda picked just outside of Tarangire. On a side note -- we were also very pleased to find that Tanzania Choice provides refillable bottles, not use single-use plastic water bottles.

Overall it was a wonderful, memorable trip for all of us, and we look forward to traveling with Tanzania Choice again!

On really hot days the animals were in the shade and you really had to look to spot them.

We booked out trip through Rustic Africa Safari. Excelent service and follow up from our first email, and out driver and guide, Steven, made our trip unforgettable. He was friendly and service minded and had the knowledge of culture and animals that made it easy for us to enjoy our trip. Kenya and Maasai Mara was really beautiful. We saw a lot of animals and the landscape was wonderful. We would love to visit Maasai Mara again.

We were a family of three, staying at Selous Ngawala camp, and had a very pleasant experience. Well, the pool was not in use and beer was not always super cold, but anyway what can you expect - you are not in 5 star establishment but a million stars - just check out the sky in the darkness of African countryside. Thanks for the camp staff for their good and friendly service!

What was especially fun was that the two-night safari allowed us to have the board ride on the first evening (my wife's absolute favourite was the weaving bird nests!), then full day of driving inside the park (supported by the packed lunch) and walk with Didi on the departure morning. Pretty good and diverse so I do recommend you to take some time instead of rushing in and out.

Accommodation was exactly what we expected - good quality bungalow which made us fell like we indeed are on safari and not on a beach or city. The driver who "hosted" us for these three days was super friendly with patience of an elephant - which we saw eleven of on the other side of the Rufiji river just before reaching the gate when returning, and then 1+3 from the camp in the evening while dining. Quite exquisite I must say.

Amazing Serengeti and Ngorongoro
5/5

We had to book with Meijo travels last minute after we reached Arusha as our original booking had issues. Daudi met us the previous night and patiently explained the options and helped us put together an itinerary we liked. We found Meijo travels to be reliable and they put together an excellent package for us at the last minute. Our tour guide Horace was knowledgable and made sure we didn't miss any of the big 5. The lodge and Matawi camp we stayed at were clean, comfortable and had very good food. Daudi met us after the safari to make sure the safari went well and he arranged for us to be dropped off to our shuttle the next day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Meijo travels

Perfect booking, Perfect Experience
4/5

We had amazing Safari experience with Amshar Serengeti Adventures , from the moment when we started our first conversation, booking the Safari, jumped into the Safari car, during fhe Safari and until we came back to the airport.
The planning of the trip was done very well, with right timing and very good selection of the food and accomodation.
The guides we had, one every day, were professional and experienced guide. They gave us a lot of information about the National Parks not limited to Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Arusha National Park, and other villages we were visiting as well as about the country in general. They were allways supportive and willing to make us feeling well.
