Very well organised, prompt communication and good service.
We took the four day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was a great experience, very well organised, the pickup and drop-off from the airport and the accommodation and meals the day before and after make it all a very convenient experience. Nelson was very prompt at answering questions on WhatsApp and before booking, he sent us a clear plan and price and it all went ahead as planned.
We saw lots of animals, our guide had unbelievable eyesight and he was very experienced and spotted animals in the craziest places, which was amazing!! We missed him saying a few sentences about the parks to introduce them but when asked questions he was very knowledgeable. The food was amazing, really tasty, fresh and varied. The vehicle was comfortable and there were plugs to charge phones in both the vehicle and the dining halls of camps.
The reasons this review is 4 starts:
The camps were better than expected, clean tents, clean toilet facilities, most had free wifi and it was well organised with the chef and camp staff setting everything up for our comfort. However it would have cost little extra effort to make sure that there was toilet paper and hand soap provided and that the sleeping bags and pillows are washed. They were very smelly. Luckily we had a roll of toilet paper in our bag but I can't imagine what we would have done in the middle of nowhere without any. The washing I think is simple and part of basic hygiene, especially when travelling with a limited amount of clothes, you don't want them to be smelly like the sleeping bags.
There was no wifi or hot water in the hostel for the night before and after. Again, we had a sim card so wifi wasn't a massive issue, but I think most travellers would either expect wifi or expect to be warned to buy a sim card. Same with the cold water. On the safari I understand that it's difficult to provide and we kind of expected that and coped. But it would have been nice to know there is none in the hostel either.
Overall it was a great experience and we would book again without hesitation, but these few things are simple to improve and would have a very positive effect.

A very wonderful experience!
The whole trip was very organised, we got value for our money. The driver and tour guide Jeff was the best...He made our experience even more better. The tour itself was memorable.

Professional, experienced and knowledgeable tour company. Attentive to client wishes and budget.
Antoinette created a short 'taste of Africa' trip for us including Cape Town, Kruger and Vic Falls in just 8 nights (excl. intl. flights). The trip went without a hitch, provided excellent value for money and delivered everything we could have hoped for, and more. All pickups and drop-offs were on time with courteous and helpful drivers. Hotel selections and locations met every need, as did additional tours and experiences.
We have amazing memories, stories to tell and wonderful photos from this amazing experience. Hopefully we will be asking Discover Africa to create another trip for us soon.

Everything I could’ve wanted
Just returned from a life-changing safari with the team from Colours Africa. I planned my trip on very short notice and they were incredibly helpful, totally flexible, and reliably communicative. As a solo traveler, I took a lot of comfort in knowing that Colours was there to assist as needed with any changes I wanted to make during my trip: lodging, flight schedules, add-ons. Having that support on the ground is key.
The safari itself was incredible. Delicious food, knowledgeable guides, and more animals than I could’ve imagined. Colours Africa also did a particularly excellent job assembling a group of like-minded travelers for our adventure, which was really impressive. They literally did their research to make sure I was being put with people I’d likely get along with — which wasn’t something I’d requested or mentioned, Colours is just thoughtful like that. It made a memorable experience that much more special.

Just wonderful!
I had approached several companies before encountering Alex at Extraordinary Africa. She listened to our preferences carefully, made us feel as if our trip was the most important thing on her mind, cross checked all suggestions, providing alternatives, until perfection was reached. Following discussions about weather and animal migrations at different times of the year, our trip included Victoria Falls, two game lodges in Botswana and concluded in Cape Town. All accommodation was even better than expected with helpful and charming staff and the game drives themselves were just wonderful, led by experienced and knowledgeable guides. Transfers were guided and smooth and we always felt safe and well cared for. Safari trips are not cheap and Botswana is one of the more expensive destinations, but there were no nasty surprises and our trip was one of the most memorable and rewarding travel experiences of my life. Thank you Alex!

Great service and assistance
We have always received great and professional service from Roho ya Chui and Ute in particular. Email responses are quick and communication is easy.
Company is run by very knowledgeable people and thus every safari so far has been a success for me. Rates are usually cheaper than booking straight through lodges.

Thumbs up for a very competent and reliable travel agency in Victoria Falls
DK Tour is a reputable and competent travel agency in Victoria Falls. The contact, the advice, the communication and the payment for the trip were easy and efficient and far cheaper than with a travel agency from Germany. My wife and I were excellently looked after on site by the boss, Mr. Webster Musidzi, and given the best advice on the selection of events and providers (helicopter flight, dinner cruise). Mr. Musidzi was always personally on hand to make sure we were picked up from the hotel on time. We would highly recommend DK Tours in Victoria Falls for planning a trip to Zimbabwe/Botswana.

If you want to enjoy your holiday, avoid this "company"
If you want to enjoy a holiday in Tanzania, then definitely avoid Sam's car rental. Their services are terrible, you spend a lot of extra money and when something happens with the car, you have to take care of yourself because they don't care. I described our experience in more detail here: https://teamontheroad.blogspot.com/

Super organised, great experience and very helpful team
Bluecrane Safaris organised our fantastic self-drive in Namibia, including vehicle hire and accommodation. Everything went perfectly, we had an amazing time, the accommodation was wonderful, and the vehicle exactly what we needed. The team at Bluecrane were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Perfect Safari and Tour of Kenya, great for all experience levels
My partner and I enjoyed a fantastic 10-day safari organized through Natural World Kenya Safaris. The entire experience, from planning through execution, was flawless. Our agent, Faith, was excellent with communication and helped us build a custom itinerary to give us the best chance at seeing all of the animals we hoped for.
The safari exceeded our expectations, particularly as it was during the supposed rainy/low season. We saw an incredible array of wildlife: 3 species of rhino, 3 species of giraffe, 2 species of zebra, lions, elephants, leopard, hyena, jackals, hippos, crocodiles, gazelles galore, warthog, cape buffalo, an incredible diversity of bird life, and more.
Our driver-guide, Kim, was a true gem. Knowledgable, experienced and jolly are just a few of his great characteristics. Kim was a great spotter of wildlife, a very good driver in the bush, and taught us so much about the flora and fauna that we encountered. We would highly recommend him for any type of safari-goer, but particularly those with an acute interest in wildlife knowledge or photography.
My partner and I were a bit anxious when planning this safari, as it was our very first one. But we couldn't be happier with how it went. If you have the option of going to Kenya for safari: do it! And please consider using Natural World Kenya Safaris and their guide Kim. You won't regret it.
